The walls of the room that Jungkook was locked in felt like it was closing on the omega.

His omega kept forcing him to switch control, his body was aching and all hot, and he just wanted to get some sort of release even though he was oddly unaware of what he was actually looking for.

His mate mark was throbbing painfully, making him want to scratch at it. His omega kept screaming for his alpha, refusing to settle down. His scent was all over the place, heightened and extremely sweet.

Jungkook was grateful that he had not fully succumbed to his omega and heat. That would be a lot of trouble. Especially since Jungkook is surrounded by unmated alphas at this point and his mate is not one of them. As much as Jungkook says he will hate Taehyung touching him, if a choice were to be made between his mate and other alphas, Jungkook would choose Taehyung without question. Because asshole or not, his mate was still his mate. The only person Jungkook can allow touching him.

When the door of the room jiggled, Jungkook couldn't help but cowered away in fear. Unmated Alphas couldn't resist an omega's scent during their heat and Jungkook was honestly terrified for himself.

The door opened and Jungkook let out the breath he was holding, seeing his mate walk in rather hesitantly.

"Jungkook. Baby, I need you to come with me okay? I'm taking you home ", Taehyung softly spoke, stopping just a few steps away from his omega.

Taehyung's Alpha was clawing at his brain, trying to force himself out. Jungkook's scent was so sweet right now, like a aphrodisiac that was luring Taehyung in.

"Alpha", Taehyung's body reacted almost immediately as soon as those words left Jungkook's mouth. It sounded so...alluring., hearing Jungkook call him alpha in that sweet honey like voice of his.

Taehyung noticed how Jungkook's eyes had changed colour fully, those beautiful doe eyes were now a striking blue, showing that his omega was in control. Jungkook had fully retreated into omega space.

"Baby love, I need to get you out of here okay? Would you come with me love?", Taehyung asked gently, feline eyes watching his mate's every move.

Jungkook walked towards him and suddenly, Taehyung was in a warm embrace.

Jungkook's hands were around his neck, with his nose nuzzling on Taehyung's scent glands, giving tiny kitten licks on his neck.

Taehyung felt his dick twitch and he prayed to the moon goddess for the suppressants that he had taken to work.

Taehyung knew he would have to take extreme measures to control his wolf, so he had called Doctor Seojoon for help. The doctor had recommended alpha suppressants that were specifically made for Alpha's on rut. Even though Taehyung was not on rut as his and Jungkook's heat and rut cycle hadn't aligned yet, a result of their non bonding, the Alpha suppressants would help keep his wolf at bay and not forcefully take control. It wasn't going to stop it fully, but just subdue his wolf a little for Taehyung to control it.

"Babybun, we need to go. Can you walk?", Taehyung lifted the omega who refused to let go of him and placed him on the table in the middle of the room.

Jungkook was hanging onto Taehyung like a Koala bear, just nosing his neck and licking. The neck has the most prominent scent glands, so it was a given that the omega would seek comfort there to soothe his heating body. In a way, jungkook was scenting his mate and marking his territory. Not that Taehyung minded it a bit.

"Baby, Yugyoem told me there are reporters here for the press conference. He will take them into the meeting room soon so we will have just a few minutes to get out of here without attracting any attention. We don't want anyone seeing you like this hmm... so can you wear this mask?", Taehyung pulled out a black mask, trying to get Jungkook to wear, only for the omega to whimper and refuse.

"No. Alpha, suffocates.  No", Jungkook adamantly refused, making Taehyung sigh as he pulled the anxious omega against his chest again, letting his mate scent his neck again.

"Okay Koo. No mask then. How about you hold onto me as I take you outside yeah? You don't look like you can walk?"

Jungkook growled as Taehyung tried to pick him up, making Taehyung let out a startled "oh"

It was the first time he had heard Jungkook growl and if he was being honest, it sounded more like a purr then a growl. His mate was adorable.

"What's wrong Baby?", He cooed gently, lips pressing against the omega's forehead.

"Alpha don't leave please", The omega whimpered fearfully.

Taehyung felt his heart break. This was all his fault. Jungkook's wolf doesn't trust him to stay and that was his own fault because he had left the omega alone on his heats before.

"Oh baby love. I'm not leaving okay. I'm taking you home with me.  Aren't you my good pup? Good for alpha?"

Jungkook nodded vigorously,"Yes. Good pup for alpha"

Taehyung chuckled, endeared,"Yes. Good pup for alpha. So listen to alpha okay baby love? I'm going to pick you up, I need you to hold onto me okay? Keeping hugging me. I'm going to use my coat to cover your face yeah? I'll carry you to the car and my driver will take us home.. okay love?"

Jungkook looked a little hesitant but he was also very eager to please his alpha so he nodded again.

Taehyung did as he explained, taking his coat off, wearing a mask himself as he took Jungkook in his embrace, holding tightly to his thighs which were wrapped around his hips, before covering the omega's face which was nuzzled in his neck with his coat.

He walked outside the room, to the exit as quickly as he could, having already received the clear from Yugyeom about the reporters whereabouts. Taehyung didn't want anything to ruin Jungkook's stellar reputation, so these steps were a must.

When Taehyung settled into the  car seat, Jungkook refused to let go of him, instead straddling his lap. The driver was an omega who worked at his office, a dear family friend of Taehyung.

But Jungkook or rather Jungkook's omega didn't know that which is why the omega let out a threatening growl, making Taehyung look at him in surprise.

"What's wrong baby love?", Taehyung asked, watching how his mate glared daggers at the driver.

"Mine. My alpha", was all that Jungkook said, or rather growled.

Taehyung bit his lips to hide his smile. It was the first time that Jungkook had claimed him, apart from their first meeting.

Granted it was the omega wolf who had done it, but still, it warmed Taehyung's heart to see his mate being possessive about him.

"Shssh baby love. I'm all yours. Only yours. We will reach home soon yeah? First, I want you to take these pills okay? They will help with the pain. Come on..."

Taehyung took out two pills from the bottle that he had bought earlier, the heat suppressants that were recommended by Doctor Seojoon.

Taehyung wasn't a fool, atleast not this time. He knows the heat will only get worse and there was no way he was staying with Jungkook to help him. The omega wolf may want him but Jungkook doesn't.

And Taehyung is not going to touch his mate until Jungkook allows him to. Right now, the omega isn't in his right senses.

That's why Taehyung had asked his mother to call his cousins, Sehun and Jisoo to help Jungkook with his heat. They are both omegas and they are family. Taehyung can trust them with his mate.

All Taehyung has to do now is take Jungkook home and then leave himself to go stay at his parents.

There was no way he will go anywhere near Jungkook after this, atleast until the heat subsides.

Jungkook already hates him enough, Taehyung doesn't want to make it worse.
