Beomgyu sat at his office desk, papers and files strewn everywhere as he tried to organize his new team. The expansion of his father's mafia into the Philippines had left a gaping hole in their Seoul operations, and Beomgyu, as the next-in-line heir, was tasked with overseeing the new branch. He rubbed his temples, exhaustion already settling in despite it being just past noon.

He was in the middle of assigning roles when the door to his office burst open.

"Soobin, I swear—" Taehyun's voice was sharp, cutting through the silence.

"Taehyun, you're being unreasonable!" Soobin shot back, glaring at him as they entered the room like a storm.

Beomgyu blinked at the two of them, their argument growing louder by the second. His lips twitched in amusement when he caught the way Taehyun's sharp gaze softened for a moment as it landed on Soobin. He couldn't help the small laugh that escaped him.

"Okay, okay, time out," Beomgyu interrupted, raising his hands to stop the escalating bickering. "You two can figure out your love-hate relationship somewhere else. This is my office, not a couples therapy session."

Soobin turned bright red, sputtering. "W-we're not—"

"Don't even try, Soobin," Beomgyu teased, smirking as he stood from his chair and gently guided both of them toward the door. "Take it outside, and sort it out yourselves."

"But—" Taehyun started, only for Beomgyu to push them both out and shut the door before either could argue further.

With a sigh, Beomgyu returned to his desk. As much as he enjoyed teasing the two, he had far too much work to do to entertain them any further. He sat down, picked up his pen, and continued scribbling notes. After finishing another stack of paperwork, he instinctively reached for his phone to check the time.

The screen lit up, displaying a notification from the Calm Urge app. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the bold text:

"2 weeks, 23 hours, 10 minutes, and 23 seconds."

It was a simple reminder, but it made his chest swell with pride. He stared at the countdown, his lips curving into a small smile. It wasn't easy—God, it wasn't—but he was doing it.

"Two weeks," he whispered to himself, fingers brushing over the screen as if to physically acknowledge the progress he had made.

Unbeknownst to Beomgyu, Yeonjun was working on something of his own. For weeks, he had been watching Beomgyu drown in work, the weight of their world pressing down on his slender shoulders. It was admirable how Beomgyu handled it all, but Yeonjun knew he needed a break.

So, Yeonjun had decided to surprise him. A quiet dinner date, just the two of them, away from the chaos of their lives. He wanted to remind Beomgyu that he wasn't alone anymore, that he had someone to lean on.

Yeonjun stood in the kitchen, poring over recipes and mumbling to himself as he tried to remember if Beomgyu preferred red or white wine. He smiled softly to himself, already imagining Beomgyu's flustered reaction to the surprise.

"This is going to be perfect," Yeonjun muttered, determination in his voice.

Yeonjun grinned as he held Beomgyu's hand, leading him into the brightly lit aquarium. Beomgyu, who had been dragged out of the house under the guise of "getting fresh air," couldn't help but marvel at the massive tanks filled with colorful fish and shimmering lights.

"You planned all this?" Beomgyu asked, glancing at Yeonjun, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Yeonjun chuckled, squeezing Beomgyu's hand. "Of course. You've been working yourself to the bone. I thought you could use a little escape."

Beomgyu's lips quirked into a small smile, the warmth in Yeonjun's tone making his chest feel lighter. They strolled through the exhibits, stopping to admire jellyfish glowing softly in a darkened tank and sharks that swam majestically overhead in a tunnel.

"Look at this one!" Beomgyu pointed to a tiny clownfish darting between anemones.

"Finding Nemo vibes?" Yeonjun teased, leaning closer to get a better look.

Beomgyu laughed, a genuine, unrestrained sound that Yeonjun hadn't heard in far too long. He couldn't stop himself from smiling, his heart swelling at the sight of Beomgyu's joy.

After the aquarium, Yeonjun guided Beomgyu to a nearby cinema, where they settled into plush seats to watch Moana 2. Beomgyu had been skeptical at first but quickly got absorbed in the colorful animation and catchy songs.

Halfway through the movie, Beomgyu leaned over and whispered, "I don't know who loves water more—Moana or you, considering that aquarium date."

Yeonjun smirked, pretending to ponder. "I'd say Moana, but if you want, we could always reenact one of her ocean scenes later."

Beomgyu's cheeks flushed, and he shoved Yeonjun lightly, hissing, "Shut up! Watch the movie."

As the movie progressed, Beomgyu found himself leaning against Yeonjun's shoulder, feeling a rare sense of peace. For the first time in weeks, he allowed himself to relax completely, letting Yeonjun's steady presence anchor him.

When they finally left the cinema, the stars were twinkling brightly above them. Beomgyu held the stuffed turtle Yeonjun had won for him at the aquarium gift shop, a fond smile playing on his lips.

"Thanks for today," Beomgyu murmured, glancing up at Yeonjun.

Yeonjun smiled, brushing a strand of hair out of Beomgyu's face. "You don't have to thank me, Gyu. I'll always make time for you."

For a moment, they just stood there, under the streetlights, the world around them fading into the background. Then, without overthinking it, Beomgyu leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to Yeonjun's cheek, his face turning bright red afterward.

"Let's... go home," Beomgyu mumbled, walking ahead to hide his embarrassment.

Yeonjun stood frozen for a moment, then let out a soft chuckle, his heart brimming with affection as he caught up to Beomgyu.
