I slam my fists onto the table. "Why won't he just talk? He's our only lead.", I say frustrated and Rachel replies, "I think I know something that could work. Let's try again with a different approach."

We enter the interrogation room and Rachel whispers to me, "Just follow my lead." I nod and Rachel walks up to Dominic and asks, "Still not ready to talk?" Dominic glares at us and says, "I'm more scared of them than you."

"Well then I guess you know that now that you're in our custody, they'd probably assume that you've told us everything we need to know. This means you've become useless to them and the only solution is to eliminate you. And if you believe they'd trust you enough not to tell us anything, they'd prevent you from talking by killing you.", Rachel says and from Dominic's face, I could tell he was falling for it.

Rachel continues, "But tell us what you know and we'll protect you. You'll be put into witness protection and we could push for a lighter sentence, that is if you decide to help us stop whoever it is."

I stare at him deeply and he speaks up saying, "I've never met the person before." I'm usually referred to a location of their choice and I send my men to deliver the item but I have a name. Gina Baldini. Ring a bell?"

Rachel nodded and we both left the interrogation room. We both knew who she was but Rachel decided to call Grace to find out more. We then told Kai what information we got from Dominic and he offered to join the call with Grace.

Rachel calls Grace and when she picks up, Grace says something on the other line. Rachel replies, "I'm putting you on speaker. I'm with Donald and Kai. We've got a name. Gina Baldini. Ever heard of her?"

She responds, "She's the heir to the Baldini Group. If it ever came out that Elijah Baldini's daughter bought weapons that could destroy a large population, his reputation would be ruined. My guess is that she paid him to shut his mouth."

"But she wasn't at the auction yesterday.", I ask, and Grace responds, "We've got to figure that out. Let me call my friend to see what she can dig up about Gina's past. I'll get back to you later." And with that Rachel ended the call.

"I'm trying to pull some strings to put Dominic under witness protection. Now that we know who hired him, Gina might be onto him. We need him alive. He might have more intel.", Kai says and immediately leaves, pulling out his phone to make a phone call.

"I'm going to call Captain Cavani to inform him of what we've got now", Rachel says and we bid our goodbyes.

I then buy some food and head back to the warehouse to check on Grace to see how she's holding up.

I enter the warehouse but see no sign of Theo. I shrug it off and head to Grace. I knock on her room door and open it when I hear a faint 'come in'. "Hey, are you feeling any better?" I ask softly as she shows a strained smile on her face. "It hurts like hell but at least I'm not dead." She tries to laugh it off but becomes awkward.

"I brought food, you need to eat." I tell her, giving her a takeout bowl filled with her favorite, alfredo with shredded chicken. "Thank you", she replies, and I say, "No need to thank me. Instead treat me to a meal when you're feeling better."

She stares at me for some time. "Is something wrong?" I ask, opening my food. She responds instantly, "Nothing's wrong. I'm just wondering."

"What?", I ask confused before taking a spoonful of my fried rice and she replies, "How did I fail to realize you liked me?" I almost choke on my food hearing her statement. I grab a bottle of water and gulp it down as fast as I can to relieve the burning sensation down my throat.

"Wha-", Grace interjects, "I already know everything. Theo told me. Why didn't you say anything all this while?"

"I'd been wanting to tell-", just as I'm about to complete my statement. Grace's phone rings. She apologizes before picking up the phone.

"Monica? Did you find anything?" Grace asks and after a few minutes, her eyes widen and she puts her phone on speaker and asks Monica to repeat what she had said.

"Gina Baldini is part of a terrorist group. She joined the group after her sister died in a U.S. government attack in Russia. The terrorist group is THE TRIAD. Apparently, THE TRIAD is a rebellion group against the U.S. government. Despite their popularity, they are private in the criminal world. They deal in dangerous weaponry and provide funds to other criminals in need in exchange for something. Three people run THE TRIAD but no one knows who they are.", Monica says.

"I thought THE TRIAD was just a myth and what does it have to do with Dominic?", I ask and Monica responds, "Dominic bought the bombs from THE TRIAD and most likely, the group who bombed the inaugural ceremony and sent the nation wide message must have gotten those funds from THE TRIAD. They are the only ones we know with access to the funds needed for stuff like that."

My phone rings. I look at it and realize it is Rachel. When I pick it up, Rachel's next words darken my eyes. I end the call and look up to see Grace staring at me with her brows raised. "What happened?" she asks. "Rachel just informed me that Dominic has been pronounced dead from toxins," I say in a stiff tone.
