Three classes later, Kit ran out as soon as the bell had rung with the biggest smile on her face leaving both Sin and I confused.

"What do you think could make someone that happy?" I asked as Sin slung his book bag over his shoulder. He simply shrugged cussing me to sigh heavily before sulking.

"My vamp doesn't likes me no more.. Won't even talk to me.." I mumbled as I exited the classroom, but Sin didn't seem to hear me as he silently walked beside me causing my frown to deepen. According to our schedule, it was lunchtime and from what Kit had told us earlier, we would have to be eating separate since Sin has his own type of food. It wasn't banned to mix lunchrooms with other species, it was just something no one here did so who was I to change tradition.

"So, have you decided what species you'll be sticking to Silver?" Sin'a sudden voice caused me to jump as he interrupted my thoughts.

"Well.. No.. I guess.. Werewolf? I've been growling a lot so it'd make sense." I said unsure only receiving a small nod as we came to the end of the hall.

"So you go to your lunchroom and I'm gonna go see what the store down the road has." I said in which I received a wary nod from Sin before he walked off suddenly looking awkward in the empty hall. Shaking my head I decided to hurry up before lunchtime was over. Checking to see if anyone was looking I smiled as I suddenly made a skateboard appear out of thin air and placed it on the ground before going along the sidewalk that led to a gas station Sin passed on the way here. Before I got there I 'poofed' my skateboard away before opening the dusty store door that led into a fairly small looking room for a store and one cash register. As I stepped inside the coldness of the store enveloped me in an embrace casing me to shudder as I walked down the different isles stuffing each product carefully. Picking up two packs of gummy bears and a small pack of gum I made my way to the drinks and grabbed a monster before taking it to the counter as I waited patiently for someone to show up.

"Umm?? Excuse me?? Anyone here??" I asked trying to look into the back room when a sudden coughing fit made me nearly jump out of my skin.

"I'm coming!! Hold on wait!! Please don't leave!!" A voice croaked hoarsely as the coughing subsided and I frowned slightly at how bad the sickness smelt from here. Suddenly an old man in overalls came out from the room and quickly began to scan my items, but seemed to be having trouble.

"Umm excuse me sir? Do you need any help?" I asked politely, but he shook his head laughing slightly making his body shake.

"No no. $3:56." he spoke clearing his throat as I fished the money from my pocket as he put my stuff in a bag. Trading off the stuff in our hands I nodded respectfully towards him and he nodded back with a smile that wrinkled his face.

"Hey! Umm, you seem new around here and I was wondering if you'd like to work here for a while. I can't pay much, but it sure does get busy sometimes and I could use the help." His voice grew tense as he obviously tried to fight another coughing fit and I smiles gently.

"I would love you Mr..."

"Fletcher." He urged and I nodded.

"Mr. Fletcher, right. Well I'll come by later to fill in an application. My name is Silver Heart by the way. Well I must be going now. Lunch won't last forever and I gotta get to class. Nice meeting you!" I called out the last part before running off towards the school. I hope Sin is ok. Hmm.. Maybe I'll talk to him about healing Mr. Fletcher.. He is human after all and there shouldn't be a problem with it anyway.

"SILVER!!!" A voice screeched causing me to wince slightly and I turned to see Kit standing with a small thin teen with white hair.

"Hey Kit." I said casually walking up to them and Kit's smiled widened.

"Silver this is Winnie. Winnie this Silver." Kit said and I shook hands with the frail looking girl.

"Hi Silver.. I'm Kit's girlfriend Winnie.." She said quietly and I almost died from the cuteness and I gave her a warm smile.

"Nice to meet you." I spoke happily. I was right, today was a good first day.
