Sin's POV

"Um.. Silver?" I asked quietly as she lead me deeper into the woods, holding my hand tightly as it got darker.

"What is it?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper as she stepped lightly as if she was afraid to make a sound.

"Do you know where we are going?" I asked looking up at her as she nibbled on her lip in concentration. Although she held my hand freely, she seemed to have a guard up more on the right side than she did on her left side. The tenseness on her right confused me in a way causing me to tilt my head slightly as I squinted in her direction. Wouldn't it make more sense to focus your defense on your open side than the one where you aren't? Suddenly it clicked, she didn't trust me fully. At the realization of her distrust I sulked and turned my attention back to the ground slowing my pace a bit.

"We has to go to my Grammy's house. That's what momm.. Err that's what I was taught to do." She answered, her voice seeming to shrink at the thought of Miss Heart.

"Oh.." I muttered feeling slightly guilty for my lack of sympathy towards her mother's death. I mean.. I only just met the both of them, so I had no chance to become attached to Miss Heart. Sighing quietly, I yanked Silver's hand causing her to stumble backwards as she turned around and hit me in the chest. Letting go of her hand quickly, I wrapped my arms around her, being careful not to squeeze her small form too tightly. Slowly she responded, wrapping her arms around me tensely before jumping away from me suddenly cheerfully.

"Come on! We've gotta go see Grammy before it's too late!!" She called and took off. Panic and worry shot through me as Silver disappeared over the small hill up ahead.

"Silver!! Wait for me!!" I yelled running full speed after her. When I finally reached the top of the hill I paused suddenly a few feet away from Silver and a small cottage.

"Grammy should be inside. It is her home.." Silver whispered grabbing my hand and dragging me to the small home. Before we even reached the door it swung open and slammed against the house causing Silver to jump back in surprise.

"Silver?! I can tell it's you baby girl, but you need to leave immediately!!" I voice yelled from inside the house and Silver frowned looking at her feet.

"But.. Grammy.. The bad people got mommy.." She whispered trying to take a step towards the house.

"I cannot afford to take you in and carry your burden child. I will supply you with what is necessary, but that will be all." The woman called out and two bags suddenly appeared in front of us.

"Grammy... Thank you..." Silver whispered grabbing one of the bags and put it on before handing me the other.

"We should leave Sin... Mommy figured this would happen so don't worry.. I can take care of us." She spoke softly as I pulled on the backpack she handed to me.

"So what do we do now?" I asked frowning slightly at the thought of returning back to the hospital.

"We run."
