Present:

The both of them swirled in the tornado!

Round and round until Dougmous was sure he would die of the insufficient oxygen! His skin had sizzled with the force of rotation and he would never admit it to his sire but his heart had called out to a higher diety!

Terrified, he had squeezed his eyes shut for this was nothing in front of the man they were heading off to meet! His ma would silence his cries by sleep , Dougmous or Hades will come!

Meanwhile Elias kept looking up at the shred of light overhead. The darkness of sky had morphed into light which meant one thing ; they had traveled from one county to another in the blink of an eye.

The tornado they were captured in had whirled them all over the world to the destined place! Elias knew he had to keep his sanity in check for the sake of what was at stake and. . .his gaze fell on Dougmous.

His papery lips were moving and he didn't realize it but he was praying out loud.

Even in the middle of peril, Elias couldn't help but smile at the loyal man. He had grown on to him like a-he couldn't find the right word.

Just as Elias thought he would never be able to get out of this dark cell, the veil of the dark storm vanished! The light came slashing in , over , all around. . blinding Elias. He shielded his eyes from the sudden burst. Dougmous had toppled forward as the pillar of support vanished from behind.

The storm had trust them out into a-

Dougmous cursed trying to breath properly.

Elias found his footing , standing to his full height. .his sharp eyes missing nothing. He made a wild guess. .

They were in a basement.

The lights were dimly lit.

And the room seemed like a place for poker for the tables were spread all around but only one table was functioning. The lights over it was casting the man into shadows. He was bent over the table, the stick in his hand and his eyes on the balls. .he shot at the ball and it went rolling into the pocket.

And somehow Elias knew. .he knew the man was completely aware of them standing in the dark corner of the room.

Dougmous swallowed.

"We got the wrong place. They duped us." Dougmous said under his breath, eyes on the man.

"You can't apparate across a country twice. You don't posses the power. It might kill you." Elias said but not in a whisper.

Whispering didn't matter now.

"I really don't -that can't be him-," Dougmous professed-

A cold voice slashed his sentence.

"Were you expecting Hercules and Pegasus perhaps?"

The sudden ice cold voice made Dougmous lose his breaths and he was no coward man but he could feel the physical affect of his voice. So cold, it slithered under his skin. .deeper and deeper . . curling around his gut. .

Elias's eyes shifted from brown to blood red as he stepped forward from the shadows, exposing himself to the man who held the poker stick like a cane. Though he wasn't leaning on it.

As Elias moved forward, he could see the man clearly. He seemed to be in his early 30's , his age hard to decipher. His ice blue hair were jelled back making his strong jaw jut out. Eyes obsidian black and it looked like his eyes had kohl around them but it were his lashes that framed his eyes so thickly. The black silk button down shirt he had on seemed fashionably loose on him, the first few buttons open.

A gold chain hung around his neck, it kept catching the lights. . glinting under it. Elias couldn't see what hung from the chain. .

"Drop the eye color. It's boring .I know you're a vampire." He said in a cool voice. His eyes revealing nothing.

"Hades." Elias breathed , eyes not wavering from the tall man.

He cocked his neck to a side , pale skin luminous against his dark shirt.

"I do like hearing my name now and then." He smirked , revealing sharp teeths. .

"I came for -," Elias started.

"You didn't come , vampire. You're trespassing. You were forced upon my territory." His lips went skyward in a condescending smile. " I'm afraid i don't entertain your lot."

"Please listen to me, it's important." Elias said softly afraid he might lose his only chance at information.

"I don't hear pleas .Who send you here? No one knows my location." Hades asked , his eyes suddenly darkening, the thought annoying him..

Elias felt there was no point at hiding.

"D'jins."

Hades's eyes brows went up in a mild surprise.

"D'jins? Why would they give you anything? They don't work without a contract unless-,"

"I gave them my blood."

He laughed making Dougmous grimace. It sounded like a chalk working on board.

"Now that explains everything. They will use your blood to locate the ring of solomon." Hades said in a thoughtful voice.

"Solomon? King solomon?" Elias asked to confirm his suspicion.

"Indeed. You may be sleeping under a rock but D'jins can only be controlled by the ring of solomon. They have been actively searching it and a vampire , a pureblood vampire, helped them out in that manner. Yes, I know you're a pure blood. The shade of your eyes reveals everything." Hades smirked seeing realization hit Elias.

And then Hades leaned over the poker table, his palms flat on it. .the light overhead making him look like a dark gargoyle.

"What can make a vampire give up his precious blood? What can drive him to the point . . .that he seeked out one of the most foul creatures on earth?" His voice turned silky, almost alluring.

"I need-have to see Edmund Stilkson." Elias brushed aside his invasive question.

Hades kept watching him.

"Edmund . . .no one comes for him. Not even women. " Hades smiled, his sharp features lifting up as he attacked Elais again by hiding a question in his sentence.

What do you want , vampire?

What are you seeking?

And right there , Elias made a bold decision to trust the not so trustworthy Lord of underworld.

"I'll tell you why. .,"

Hades smiled deepened.

"Not until you give me an oath of silence." Elias said in a careful voice.

He knew the dark lord loved secrets. He thrived on secrets so that he could use it against people when the time comes. A secret made his fortune . .

Hades frowned slightly.

But Elias knew he wanted his secret. A pure blood vampire was too good to resist. . .

He took in a deep breath.

"I take an oath of silence that if I were to utter a single word of the secret then I may be silenced for the rest of my life." Hades repeated the holy words.

Elias nodded grimly.

Seeing no shady business, he traded in his secret.

Hades listened to his words , his face devoid of emotion. The skin so flawless, every expression on his face looked like plastic crinkling.

"Why is it always a woman?" Hades shook his head as Elias finished. Meanwhile Dougmous too had moved out of the shadows as he eyed the dark lord and found him quite. . . disappointing.

Hades looked like a rockstar.

"Your friend keeps insulting me in his head." Hades said, black eyes catching Dougmous.

"You can read mind?" Elias asked as he heard Dougmous grumble under his breath for being caught.

Hades linked his hands together in a graceful manner.

"I can..of the weak." His dark eyes held amusement seeing the big guy struggle under his gaze.

"I'm no weak!" Dougmous protested not at all liking this young lord !

"If you aren't, you'll be. That's what the future tells." Hades said in a low voice.

Dougmous opened his mouth-

"Where is Edmund?" Elias tried to be patient but his voice was urgent.

Hades glanced at him , a devilish look on his pretty face.

"Upstairs. Entertaining the ladies."
