i walked downstairs holding my belly. i'm 5 months pregnant and i look like a balloon already.

"morning you.. how was your sleep ?" kk asked me kissing my cheek.

"terrible. i kept tossing & turning and i could not get comfortable" i said huffing.

"and i'm mad cus i can't even have coffee" i sighed sitting down.

"here ik you'd be upset so i got you a strawberry lemonade to cool you down" she said making me smile.

"omg your the best" i said shoving the straw down the thingy and drinking it. it was so good and refreshing cus it's so hot outside.

the team is supposed to be coming over because i told them i was pregnant a few months ago and they decided to do a movie night since i can't play basketball right now.

i'm really grateful for them because they are still being sure to include me and things and i really appreciate it more than they think. i love them.

"nothing you just got that pregnancy glow" kk said making me blush.

"aww thank you mama. i'm glad i was scared of looking a mess pregnant and stuff" i said laughing.

"but hey how do you wanna tell Sydney and the aces crew ? cus yk she been waiting since the day we got married lol" i asked.

"mm i'm thinking that we fly out to las vegas to surprise them. not tryna show favorites but i think sydney would be happy especially since she's been waiting since day 1" juju replied.

"yeah let's do it. i wanna go to that coffee shop in Vegas anyways they so good. GOT MY HEART" i said jumping up and down.

we walked out of our hotel after a good nap for the aces vs. dream game. this was perfect because almost all teams new about my pregnancy but them. the wnba is the definition of "in they own world" because they never told a soul.

the only reason we didn't tell the dream is because we were supposed to ship onesies out to them like we did everyone else but they got lost so we never could.

i put my jacket and we walked into the building hand in hand. we sat down and the game started both teams were on fire.

TIME SKIP| aces won 93-90.

me and kk got up and walked into the tunnel to their locker room. we waited for them to get done their team pep talk and then Becky let us in.

i grabbed my backpack and pulled out the onesie. aja nem then screamed and hugged us tightly.

"OMG I'VE BEEN WAITING SINCE WEDDING DAY FOR THIS" sydney yelled hugging us.

"yeah your gonna get your niece/nephew girl" kk said.

"roses are red, violets are blue, excited to make my entrance but my aunties are too awww" jackie read out loud.

"girl you don't even like kids" aja said.

"i don't not like them, i just wouldn't have my own" she said.

"i'm really excited to be a tete tho" jackie said.

"but guys don't tell anyone we came to see yall. cus we shipped the onesies to all the other teams but we had to make it special for sydney" kk said and they nodded.

"omg if it's a girl you can name her kellie if it's a boy name him kenon" kelsey said.

"GIRL NO YOUR NOT SPECIAL" jackie said.

"i think the baby should be named after me" sydney said.

"and you ain't special either" chelsea said making us laugh.

we walked into our hotel room & my phone vibrated and i saw a message from paige. the girl that totally ghosted me after i forgave her for all the trauma and pain she caused me ?

like i did absolutely nothing to you and you gone ghost me without telling me why ? then have the nerve to text my celluar device ? oh nah.

"oh girl please" i said.

i showed juju my phone and she had a confused look on her face.

"didn't she straight up ghost you for no reason ? like even after you forgave her for all the pain and trauma she caused you ? like where do she get the nerve ?" juju said shaking her head.

"exactly, like make it make sense. but should i text back ?" i asked.

"mhmm see what excuse she got" juju said getting into bed.

paige: hey kk.. ik it's been a minute but can we talk ??

kk: about what ? you ghosting me ? sure. i would love to know why!

i put my phone on the charger and cuddled up to juju rubbing her belly. i heard her groan.

"what's wrong mama ?" i asked.

"my breast hurt" she whined.

"you want me to rub em ?"

i pulled off her shirt & began rubbing them as she got online. she has been looking at baby clothes like crazy but she hasn't bought anything since we don't know the gender yet. neither of us is hoping for a specific gender so boy or girl we gone love it the same.

not gonna lie i am not looking forward to talking to paige but i do wanna know why she ghosted me especially if i did something wrong. she could've just communicated that with me tho.
