i closed my laptop and set it on the nightstand. today is my last day here in chicago so me and juju been tryna make the most of the time we have together.

we just finished wedding planning & everything is set up and ready. we found a venue, the date we wanted was open, we found decors and all that. it feels good to have that off our backs.

now all we have to do is go dress shopping & we don't have to do that until closer to wedding time. i still don't know if i wanna wear a dress or tux but i decided to go dress shopping to see if there's any that i might like and if not imma just wear a tux.

"ughh finally" juju said closing her laptop.

"no fr that was so stressful" i said making her nod.

"mm i want strawberries" i said getting up going to get the strawberries juju bought today for her teams party this Friday.

i walked back upstairs and got into bed beside her. she looked at me with a blank look on her face.

"what ?" i asked.

"okay first of all, i bought those for the team party this friday & two you've been eating strawberries like crazy lately. like literally eating them for breakfast, lunch, dinner are you okay ?" she asked me.

"i really like strawberries and they've been a craving" i said innocently.

"and besides i can buy you more when i go out to target later" i said.

"bae you pregnant ?" she asked me giggling.

"mm i might be" i said shrugging my shoulders looking at my phone.

"girl don't play with me" juju said laughing.

"i'm kidding i can't wait for the day tho" i said rubbing her stomach.

"me either, but we gotta tie the knot first honey" she said laughing & i nodded.

i sat the strawberries on the nightstand & cuddled up to juju. her body is so warm and so soft. i already knew i was finna fall asleep.

"baby" i said from the bathroom.

"yes ?"

"can you bring me that towel off the bed i forgot it"

i turned the shower off & waited for kk to bring me a towel. i heard the door open and she peaked her head in.

"here you go bae" she said.

"thank you" i said sticking one arm out of the shower while the rest stayed behind the shower curtain.

"why you acting like i can't or haven't seen you naked ?" she asked.

"kk please lol" i said.

"well if you want it you gotta come get it" she said making me roll my eyes.

i had no problem getting out naked cus like kk said she's seen me naked plenty of times. it's just a habit of me sticking one arm out especially since i use to do that with my cousins.

i slid the shower curtain over and stepped out. i watched as she stared me up and down admiring my body. i instantly started to blush & then hid my face.

"you so beautiful mama" she said handing me a towel.

"thank you my love" i said drying off my body.

kk sat on the countertop as she checked her emails. i dropped my towel and started lotioning my legs. after i got dressed and did my skin care routine and brushed my teeth.

i grabbed my phone and saw that the gc texted.

jada: i can't wait to go dress shopping with you guys 🥹🥹. y'all finna look so PURTTYY.

kk: if i wear one, but thank you🥹🥹🤣.

juju: thank you love🥹.. we can't wait either. we been away from each other for too long.

juju: RAYAH. AMOURA WYAAA ?

amoura: girl i'm here you ain't give me time to get my life together 😒.

ray: stop acting like the feds judea skies.

juju: ray don't play with me 🙄, it's never that serious.

bryce: bronny they act like we don't exist. we must not be part of the wedding ?? cus lmk i can make plans to see my gf !

bronny: ong, juju finna get unbestied!

juju: okay first of all BRYCE MAXIMUS. y'all ain't give me the time of day. ofc you guys are invited as a matter of fact yall better be there or im slapping both of yall.

juju: second of all LEBRON JAMES JR. stop playing with me, you not finna "unbestie" me. it's never that serious!

amoura: when do we get to meet her ?

jada: yeah cus he ain't told us nothing! 😒😒.

i walked into the airport hand in hand with juju. i really didn't wanna go and i already know imma cry. i set my stuff down & faced her taking a deep breath. i just wanna be with her forever.

"i'm gonna miss you" i said tears feeling my eyes.

"imma miss you more baby.. don't cry" she said wiping my tears.

i hugged her tightly, wrapping my arms around her waist. i took in her vanilla scent one last time. she lightly rubbed my forehead.

"i love you" she said.

"i love you more mama" i said.

"hey we're gonna be okay love. ik thats its hard to be apart but we got this. you gone be great in connecticut! we're going what we love baby. we worked so hard for this" she said.

"so proud of you" i mumbled

"proud of you ma" juju replied.

we hugged for 5 more seconds before pulling away. we shared a passionate kiss before i grabbed my things and we said goodbye to each other.

i rolled my suitcase to the plane so i could catch my flight back to Connecticut. i got on putting my stuff in the top glove compartment and sat down. i texted juju and put my beats on turning on some music. it's finna be a long ride and i miss my wife. but ik we're gonna be okay.
