today is our first game & i am so excited. and ofc nervous but i feel like i can accomplish so much for my wnba debut. i gotta go out there and play my hardest and do my best and i intend to do just that.

knowing that i don't have family to support me and be at my first game makes me sad but the grind don't stop i just gotta keep going.

"you ready rook ?" alyssa asked me.

"yk it" i said smiling.

we walked onto the court after warming up and the game was getting ready to start.

me and my parents walked into the arena of connecticut. i am so happy to be surprising kk at her first wnba game. we all had on her jersey.

we sat on the first row right beside the bench. the game was about to start and the starting 5 for both team walked onto the court.

i saw kk walk out and i screamed. she looked over and her face was more than shocked. she looked so happy. i smile at her and waved.

"HII" she said waving,

the look on her face is why i do this. why i did it. she looks so happy and so grateful i never want her to feel alone she know she got my parents as hers as well.

they more than her in-laws and they've been her parents just as much as mine when we started dating and they met for the first time.

TIME SKIP: 2nd quarter 4:29 seconds left. Connecticut up 43-31 against the fever.

kk has 12 pts. 2 rebounds & 5 assists.

kk dribbled the ball down passing it to dijonai who passed back to her as she back door cut laying up with her left hand.

"THATS IT BABYY" i yelled getting out of my seat.

"omg i feel like a proud mama" juju's mother said holding her chest.

i smiled at her and nodded. because deep down she's kk's mom just as much as mine wether they're blood or not. it's that persons actions and ways that make you a mother not blood.

we continued watching the game, and i watched as kk hit the floor face first. her teammates surrounded her and her coach ran out.

i stood up trying make sure she good. i nervously rocked back and fourth cus is my baby good. the arena started clapping as they helped her up.

her lip was busted and so was her eyebrow and blood was dripping onto the floor quickly.

"you okay baby" i asked.

she looked over at me & nodded smiling at me. the trainers fixed her up and she quickly ran back out there.

END OF THE GAME| connecticut won 89-74. and kk finished with 25 pts. 4 rebounds and 7 assists.

i finished the post game interview and headed to the locker room.

"OUR FIRST WINNNN" i yelled.

the team yelled and we celebrated. the best part about this is juju and her parents made a big effort to come see me and i couldn't be more grateful.

after changing i grabbed my things and said by to the team.. i ran to juju and jumped into her arms.

"YOU CAMEEE" i yelled as she spun me around her arms under my butt.

"ofc baby.. i would do anything for you, you did so good tonight i'm proud of you" she said.

i passionately kissed her and then hugged her tightly.

"thank you mamas" i smiled at her and she nodded kissing my head.

i jumped down and ran to her parents.

"you guys came, thank you for coming" i said happily hugging them.

"ofc your like our daughter and more than our in-law.. we love you as much as juju" they said.

"i love you guys" i said.

"alright let's go eat cus im hungry" juju said and i nodded.

i grabbed my things and we started walking.

"ouu cute shirt stink" i said smiling at her.

"thank you baby.. im glad you like it" she said kissing my cheek.

i texted the gc cus i hadn't talked to them all day.

i got into bed beside kk and she instantly cuddled up to me.

"i missed you so much.. thank you for this! for coming & getting your parents to come too it really meant a lot" she said.

"i missed you more and yk i wouldn't have missed it my love. imma always show out for you" i said.

she leaned up and kissed my lips, roaming her hands down too my thighs.

i felt her put all her body weight on me letting me know she was sleeping. i kissed her forehead before turning the lights off.

today was everything and i'm glad i could make it happen for my baby because she was so happy.
