juju and kk had been dating for 3 years now still going strong. they're relationship was at its highest the two were so in love it got stronger everyday.

both kk & juju were now 21 years old. they were in their last year of college at usc & both were ready for the WNBA. they both were excited but it also weighted on them that they were most likely gonna be going to 2 different teams so being separated was heavy.

even after so many years kk still dealt with bad anxiety as it was apart of her since childhood she learned how to calm herself down.

the friend group was still as strong as ever. bronny was also in his last year of college and was headed to the NBA draft. bryce just graduated high school and was about to enter his freshman year of college.

paige & amoura broke up after 2 years of dating because they never got to see each other but they left off as friends in a good spot.

aaliyah decided not to enter the draft just because she didn't think her body would ever fully adjust to the basketball life again.. women's sport was now stronger than ever. she was a manager as well as a trainer for the atlanta dreams.

rayah was playing for the Las Vegas Aces and was drafted #2 overall in the first round draft. she was still adjusting to the big league but overall she was doing everything that needed to be done.

"thank you pretty" i said hugging juju.

"ofc anything for you my love" she said kissing my forehead.

i grabbed my bag and walked out the gym. it's crazy to think that i've been here for 3 1/2 years. it was the best experience ever and she was grateful for her new/old teammates and her coach.

"do you wanna go eat ?" i asked her getting into the drivers seat.

"i ate before, if your hungry you can go get food" she said and i nodded.

i drove to wing stop & got food before heading back to our dorm. i got out and went straight to the bathroom to shower simply because sweat was constantly dripping down my body.

turning on the shower i waited for it to get warm before getting in. 2 minutes later i heard the door open assuming its juju i ignored it.

"mamas, can i borrow your laptop mine just died and i left my charger at home" she said.

"yes it's in my backpack" i said.

"thank you" she said closing the door.

after my shower juju went and took hers & we sat on her bed and chilled. we had nothing planned and i did not wanna sit here and do nothing all day.

"mamas you wanna go to the beach today ?" i asked her.

she looked up at me and nodded.

"yeah let's do it" she said smiling.

we got up to get ready to head to the beach. i hadn't been in a while and it's so hot outside. i'm pretty sure bronny nem gone meet up with us.

"BRONNY PUT ME DOWN. im dead serious" i yelled as i kicked and screamed.

bronny picked me up putting me over his shoulder as he held me over the water. i kicked and scream so hard hoping he would put me down.

"bronny fr put me down do not put me in this water" i yelled.

i used both my hands to grab his butt simply because i know he hates it it's his biggest pet peeve. he quickly jumped.

"aye lil girl stop" he said sternly.

"well put me down." i said.

"ugh fine" he said.

"and i mean put me down on my two feet do not drop or throw me in this water lebron jr i'm not kidding" i said.

i watched as kk laughed and recorded making me laugh.

"bro it's not funny.. help me" i said.

"bryce you cut off you ain't my brother nomo since you wanna laugh and watch" i said rolling my eyes.

"man okay my bad" he said rolling his eyes.

"sassy a**" i mumbled.

bronny finally put me down and laughed. i just mugged him cus ain't nun funny about that.

"taking you to court for harassment" i said.

"man you ain't gone get nun" he said laughing.

"aye let's play football" bryce said.

we got in the water a little & bronny looked at kk. he threw a hard pass to her and she ran jumping up catching it.

"HARDDDDD" bronny and bryce yelled.

kk slammed the ball down and high fived me.

"your turn ju" bronny said.

he threw me a pass i ran for catching it, ian have to jump since im tall but kk did since she's shorter.

"man we would be so goated at football" i said to kk and she nodded.

they came in and kk threw me the ball i tried to go around bronny but grabbed me by my waist and lightly tackling me.

"mm you'll do" he said before walking away.

i laid there as i felt my hair get soaked. i got up letting my hair down.

"you cheated" i yelled.

"nah negro you just slow" bryce yelled.

"do you wanna fight bryce maximus" i said using his middle name as i rolled my eyes.

"man you so fed" he said smacking his lips.

i watched as bronny and kk laughed hard. anytime anyone would use bryce's middle name it would always crack them up.

a few minutes later me and kk decided to sit in the sand & chill. she laid her head on my chest as we watched the waves come back and fourth.

bryce and bronny were to busy tryna make tiktoks it was hilarious.

"can you believe we've been going strong for 3 years" i asked her.

she looked down at me and smiled.

"right ? our relationship came with so many lessons as well as ups and down but yk i wouldn't change it for the world"

"yk we got forever to go" she said and i nodded.

"yk how we are both going to the WNBA draft ?"

"yes"

"what will happen when we're separated. we both knows there's a 9/10 chance we're going to different teams. i don't want it to hurt our relationship because i wanna be with you forever no matter how far apart we gotta be" i said.

"baby.. when i said forever to go i meant FOREVER. yes we both know we're most likely gonna be separated and that's okay, our love and connection is strong enough to pull us together even if we have to be apart physically"

"i love you and i wanna be with you for the rest of my life & nothings gonna change that my love. us long distancing gone take time but we will get through it. it's us forever" she said.

"forever" i said.

we both used two fingers to make a heart. she leaned down and we passionately kissed.

counting EVERYTHING we have been through i would not change it for the world. i love this girl with all my heart. even the bad, when we fought and screamed at each other. when we said things we ain't mean. we we walked out on each other. it was all worth it because in the end it's gone always be us.

we got through so much together and i feel like nothings gonna change that. i see myself loving her until i take my last breath.

"i love you" i said.

"because we were bound by basketball but it's always deeper than that" she said kissing my cheek.
