"no thank you" i said as juju tried to give me my anxiety medicine.

i feel like i been doing good without it. the more i take it the more imma rely on it & i wanna try to go without it and see how my anxiety act.

"kamorea i'm not asking. take the pill" she said mugging me.

"no because the more i take it the more imma rely on it" i whined.

"do you wanna have a panic attack ?" she asked me.

"no" i mumbled lowly totally defeated.

"okay then. can you please just take it ?" she asked me.

"fine" i mumbled.

after taking my medicine we went downstairs for breakfast but her parents where gone so we are here alone.

"you gone cook ?" i asked snickering.

"yes why ? i actually can cook. but aye i will make myself sum and you can go get some food for yourself" she said shrugging.

"man bae chill out i was just playing" i said rolling my eyes.

"ohh okay.. thought so" she said laughing.

i sat down and watched as she started cooking. she was wearing a gray nike bra with compression shorts and her hair was in a messy bun. she was also wearing her glasses and her lips are glossed. i love morning her.

"thank you baby" she said looking back smiling.

"omg you heard that ? i said that out loud ?" i asked blushing in embarrassment.

"lol it's okay bae. im glad you like morning me." she said.

"GOOD MORNING NEGROOSSSS" we heard.

and right then and there we knew it was nobody but bryce. he so loud for no reason it's to early.

"bryce it's to early" juju said rolling her eyes.

"never to early for me.."

"OUUU SISSSS can you make me a PLATE TOOO PLEASEEE" he yelled.

"if you stop yelling then yeah"she said and he nodded.

"okay i'll stop" he said sitting down beside me.

"where yo brother at ?" juju asked.

"man why you always asking about him ? you never ask about me" he said.

"because he's my best friend lol. and besides you always seem to pop up anywhere i am or go" juju said giggling.

"yeah you right you can't get rid of me even if you tried" bryce said.

"but he coming, he had a doctors appointment" bryce said and she nodded.

"here you go" i said handing bronny a plate.

"preciate you best" he said and she nodded.

"so how'd your appointment go ?" i asked.

he looked at me and sighed rubbing his forehead. that answered my question.

"man same old you gotta continue to rest" he said mocking his doctor and rolling his eyes.

"lol bronny you good. you just gotta be patient your body not gone heal overnight" i said.

"ik but it's been almost a month" he said.

"exactly bronny you had a stroke. it could've been way worse you could've died. you could've had permanent damage to your body, you just gotta be grateful it was slight" i said and he nodded.

i scrolled on my phone and i heard the front door open and close. assuming it's bryce or kk i ignored it but i saw amoura walk in.

i quickly got up and ran to her hugging her tightly, its been so long. too long lol.

"I MISSED YOU BESTIE" i said back to her.

she walked over and hugged bronny and i hugged paige. kk looked so happy. we both were we're definitely not use to being away from our best friends for so long.

"how are you doing bronny ?" she asked.

"mm i'm doing much better. thank you for asking" he said and she nodded smiling at him.

"so what did we miss ?" paige asked as she sat down beside kk.

"lol nothing really. i mean we texted yall everything that happened & we just been chillin" kk said.

i looked over at amoura and i noticed that she had gained a little weight since she left. not being mean because ofc it's normal and it looks good on her.

but her stomach kind of threw me off. i got up and grabbed her hand leading her to the pool. ian wanna say anything in front of everyone and they think im body shaming her.

"you okay ?" she asked me.

"uhh yeah" i said.

"umm listen.. don't take this the wrong way cus i promise i'm not being mean & yk that just making sure" and she nodded.

"moura.. you pregnant ? or is this happy weight ?" i asked her and i could see her facial expression change.

her feelings were definitely hurt. but i had to ask. i just want her to know that im not being mean.

"no i'm not pregnant, i'm just bloating" she said quietly.

"bestie" i said lifting up her chin with my hand.

"i promise you i'm not judging you. i just wanted to make sure you good" i said.

"but is that the first thing you noticed is that i gained weight ?" she asked.

"ofc not.. the first thing i noticed was that your wearing your real hair out" i said and she smiled.

"look, when we was sitting down i just noticed your stomach that's all. and i wanted to make sure. again im not body shaming you and yk that" i said.

"but it does look good on you tho bestie lol.."

"thank you pretty" she said.

"and since your bloating i have some medicine for that to help so come on" i said grabbing her hand.

"babe come swim with me" i said swimming over to the edge were juju dipped her feet.

"sorry love yk ion really care for swimming" she said laughing.

"okay but you never get in" i said huffing.

"you don't need me to have fun baby" she said kicking her feet.

i grabbed her feet and started tickling them hoping it would make her give in. but she just sat there and stared at me no emotions. i threw her feet and she giggled at me.

"mamas, i think you fg your the ticklish one not me" she said laughing.

she pulled out her camera and started recording me.

"hey my pretty baby" she said into the camera.

i waved as i could feel my cheeks heat up.. its crazy to think after all these years she still gives me butterflies.

"hey wifey" i said waving back.

she leaned down and kissed me & i could see her blushing as well.

"send me that" i said and she nodded.

"you know what i will get in just because your so cute" she said and i happily clapped.

she jumped in and hugged me tightly water dripping from our faces. she leaned in kissing me passionately i could hear bronny and bryce making jokes.

"IT MUST BE NICEE IM TRYNA GET LIKE YOU MY BOYYY" bryce said making us giggling.

we swam around & i watched as paige & amoura jumped it splashing us. another chill day but i miss basketball so much lord have mercy. i gotta make sure ion get rusty lol.
