"kk SLOW DOWN" i yelled as she slammed on the break.

"get out" i said lowly looking over at her slowly.

she looked at me and laughed. i listened as her laughter could light up a room.

"why baby ?" she asked me through laughter.

"get out" was all i said laughing back.

she pulled out and we headed to starbucks. i had work i wanted to finish so we were just gonna sit outside and drink coffee in the nice la weather. kk was just gone chill until i finished.

she pulled up and we got out going inside to order. i ordered as kk hid her face in my shoulder. social anxiety at its best.

"what you want baby ?" i asked lifting her head up.

"mm caramel latte please" she said and i nodded.

after we got our orders we went outside and find a table to sit. i pulled my laptop out and i watched as she pulled out a crossword sheet and it made me giggle.

i pulled out my phone and took a picture. she's the cutest when she's all focused and stuff. kk has spent so much time healing her inner child and ofc imma be there to help her.

so when she wanna color, do puzzles, crosswords etc imma always support cus she lost so much a such a young age.

"so cute" i said giggling at my phone.

kk looked up at me and smiled. i posted the picture and then started on my work.

"mhmm" i said handing them to her.

"thank you" she smiled putting on in.

i could hear "jane the virgin" playing through the airpod but it didn't bother me. just as long as kk was occupied ian want her to get bored since she was nice enough to sit here with me while i finish my work.

"so paige, i wanna get something for juju" i said to her.

"something like what ?" she asked me.

"idk, just something yk. because like even through our hardest times she was there like through it all. she helped me get through so much and i want her to know i really appreciate her and the effort she put into like helping me and through my grieving process" i said.

paige nodded and went on amazon. she scrolled through the jewelry to try and find something that would fit her.

"yk she's been so patient with me from day 1 and she's always surprising me to i wanna do something for her" i said.

"ouu okay ik this jewelry place here in la and they have like the best necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. we could try there" paige said and i nodded excitedly.

we have been looking around for an hour and we finally found something. i went up to the counter and asked the worker. she boxed it and told me the total so i paid and we left.

i got home and went to juju's room and she was in the shower. i set the flowers on her bed and her necklace beside her.

i had ultimately decided on a gold necklace with the initial "j" on it.. i hope she like it cus it cost a pretty penny. but i would do anything for her so it's okay.

i heard the shower stop letting me know she would be coming out soon. she walked out and she was wearing a sports bra with nike pros.

and ofc was looking good. her hair was damp and her skin was shinning. i watched as her eyes traveled to the flowers and necklace she looked so confused. she sat on the bed and looked at me.

"babe what's this ?" she asked.

"well, i was thinking. and yk your such a good and caring gf your so patient with me and you do everything you can to be there for me and my brother. so i wanted to surprise you and let yk that i appreciate you more than you might think and i appreciate your efforts as well" i said.

"your always surprising me and doing stuff for me so i wanted to do sum for you" i said.

she stood up and walked over to me hugging me tightly. i quickly hugged back resting my head on her chest.

i looked up at her and cupped her face wiping her tears.

"i love you. and i love this. thank you baby. i appreciate this so much and yk i would do anything for you my love." she said.

"i love you" i said. she leaned down and we kissed.

i already knew paige was recording and being messy so i couldn't wait to see the pictures.

she led me over to the bed picking up the flowers. i told her to pose with them and i recorded. she opened the box and took out the necklace.

i was nervous cus i couldn't read her face and i hope she likes it.

"if you don't like it i can take it back and-".

"what no baby i love it. it's beautiful & it has my initial on it i can tell you put a lot of thought into this. it's perfect" she said.

"thank you my love" she said.

i hugged her and pecked her lips.

"now if you'll excuse me i gotta go call rayah nem and brag" she said walking downstairs.

i giggled and hugged paige. i couldn't have did this without her. she's always there whenever i need anything even if it's last minute she gone find a way to make it happen.

"thank you bestie.. your amazing you always make it happen no matter what" i said.

"ofc your my bestie and i would do anything for you!" she smiled.

"and yk it's vice versa" i said and she nodded.

we walked downstairs to see what the girls were up to and chill. it made my heart happy to be able to do this for juju. and seeing her smile and so happy and know that she loves it makes me happy.
