"paige what are we gonna do ? she's gone & she's not coming back" azzi said as her face was stained with tears.

"look relax baby, we just gotta give it time" paige said as she rubbed azzi's back.

she had tried to contact kk but she had blocked her on messages . the only thing kk didn't block her on was instagram. kk was going far and she knew that and she wanted EVERYONE to see that, especially the ones that hurt her.

paige was also blocked on messages. not insta either tho for the same reason.

"i miss her" paige said as tears fell from her eyes.

"me too. i hope she's doing okay" azzi said.

i walked into practice and went to the locker room.. today just happens to be one of those days were depression is taking over my body and mind.

i was not feeling it but coach g is giving me this opportunity and i cannot let her down nor the team.

i walked into the locker room & everyone looked at me. i went to my locker and set down my stuff pulling out my practice jersey and shoes.

"hey girl" rayah said.

i looked up at her smiling.. i didn't have the energy to say anything back. but i could always force a fake smile.

rayah smiled back and walked back to her locker. she had no idea. but juju did. it's like she knew kk since they were kids.. she just knew her emotions and everything.

juju got up and walked to kk.. she grabbed her hand and lead her out of the locker room.

"where we going ?" kk said.

she took her to a room that had chairs and items in it.

"what's wrong kk ?" juju said as they sat down.

"nothings wrong ju why ?" kk said.

"kk fr.. ik you and i know when something's wrong. talk to me tell me what's up" juju said.

"i just don't feel normal today. my body is tired and my mind is completely cluttered and i got no sleep last night.. i have been stressing so bad and i don't know what to do cus it's only getting worse and-". she was cut off by juju.

"kk calm down.. it's okay breath girl you good. look let's talk too coach.. she'll understand. kk you can't hide this from us tho it's only gone hurt you more you have to talk to us when you feel like this" juju said.

she watched as kk emotion changed. from stressed to straight tears.. her hands shaking and her breathing became heavy.

juju got up and grabbed her hands.

"kk relax. deep breaths girly your okay i promise just breathe in and out slowly" juju guided as she held kk's hands.

"there you go girl. it's okay we gotchu i promise just take a deep breath" juju said.

she could hear kk's breathing go down.. and it was going back to the normal pace.

"thank you juju" kk said.

"ofc you will always have me love" juju said.

juju stared into kk's eyes.. she watched as her light brown eyes followed her. juju's hands sat on her waist and they were both breathing heavily.

"okay let's go talk to coach" juju said slowly still looking into kk's eyes.

"no it's okay im good now.. i just needed to have a mental breakdown but im good now" kk said laughing.

"okay girly let's go" juju said .

kk grabbed juju's hand.. she quickly looked back and smiled at her. juju could feel the butterflies in her stomach.

was kk really crushing on her ? she'd just met her about a month ago. but that didn't matter because juju was such a beautiful person inside and out.

the fact that kk is giving me butterflies makes me happy.. i already knew what was happening but it was definitely to early.

just being around her makes me happy. she's such a beautiful girl.. inside and out. she's sweet and talented & just gorgeous. the way she smile.. the way her laugh sound . the sound of her voice just her presence in general.

we walked back to the locker room and she finished getting dressed . we headed to the court where the rest of the team was.

"THIS IS THE 5th 3 POINTER PAIGE WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?" coach geno yelled.

"look take 5 cus we look a mess and yall obviously need time to get yall heads right" geno said.

i couldn't focus.. the only thing my mind was kk.. my best friend. the girl i loved most the one who was there from day 1 my other half just gone .

my heart is constantly breaking everyday. it's getting worse and worse. the pain i've caused her and im hurting to.

"paige what's wrong ?" ashlynn said.

all her teammates had rushed over to her. paige had finally broke down.. her heart couldn't take it anymore. she was in so much pain. her heart was hurting. she just wanted her best friend back.

"I CANT DO IT" paige cried out.

her teammates holding her as she weakly cried. her and azzi both cried every night together about kk. but today was different the pain was different and much more painful.

2 months later✨.

"yes girly pop" kk said.

she was currently at juju's dorm. the two decided to hang out. and ofc they enjoyed each others company.. all they did was laugh.

"you look so cute" kk said clapping.

"aww thank you baby" juju said.

both kk and juju were blushing. they couldn't help the way they made each other feel.

"you know, your a strong girl" juju said as she put her hand on top of kk's .

"you really think so ?" kk asked with hope in her eyes.

"ofc love.. you been through a lot but you still going hard . your a beast on and off the court. your amazing" juju said.

kk cheeks instantly turned red and she had the biggest smile on her face.

"juju i really appreciate you.. like genuinely for being here for me every step of the way. the sweet compliments the love & the way you help me through hard times.. your amazing juju" kk said.

and again they were both blushing at each other. smiling like there was no tomorrow.

"aww you will always have me baby. no matter what. im forever proud of you! and gone forever cheer for you" juju said.

kk and juju stood up and hugged.. juju rocked them back and fourth. kk could smell her vanilla scent. butterflies taking over both of their stomachs .
