Link: so Y/N and I are headed somewhere. . .

Me: I think you two are deciding that, now.

Link: Oh. Didn't Impa say to get Naboris done first?

Me: That was a suggestion, Link.

Link: oh . . . Oops 😬 

Me: 🤣 

I laugh as Link almost trips over a tree root in Hyrule Field. We agreed on taking Medoh down first. Link blushes like an embarrassed dork. A cute one! I pull out an ocarina out of nowhere.

"Huh. How long has that been there?" I ask. Link shrugs.

"I dunno." He says, still blushing. I play a few notes and suddenly it feels familiar. I recognize the tune. The Song of Healing. Link smiles when I let the ocarina hang around my neck. A string runs through the mouthpiece and lets it hang from someone's neck for easy transport. The ocarina I have is a light blue with a gray band around the mouthpiece, connecting it to the tone holes. On the gray band is a golden Triforce. The Ocarina of Time. I'm not sure how I have it, but I like it. Bloody rubs his head against my right leg. I rub the wolf's head and smile down at him. The wolf nudges my Sheikah Slate. I check it. The map is complete and Bloody suddenly taps his nose on the wolf head rune. He hovers his paw over a button, pointing at it. I just shrug. He taps the button and sits down. His collar suddenly starts glowing blue, the same shade as Vah Saria. He wags his tail.

"I've been trying to tell you about that for the past hour!" He says. Link and I both jump.

"Wait, you can talk?" I ask.

"I thought you remembered. I only can when you turn the collar on." Bloody says. I nod and rub his head again.

"I do, just too clearly, right now." I say, yawning. Link chuckles. He steps closer to me and wraps his right arm over my shoulders. I lean my head on his shoulder.

"This is so familiar." Bloody says. Link and I both look at the wolf with confused looks on both of our faces. "You two would often throw flirtatious looks at each other when the other wasn't looking. I tried to get you two together all the time, but you two seemed to have other plans." He chuckles and licks my hand. I laugh and rub his head again. We hear footsteps and turn around. A large Guardian aims its laser at Link. He turns and sprints off. The laser, still as charged as before, is suddenly aimed at me and fired, hitting my back.

"L-Link!" I yell. "I got hit!" He turns around, his feet skidding on the ground, and picks me up, slinging me over his back. He puts my legs through his arms and makes sure my arms are over his shoulders. Bloody runs beside Link and tells him when to jump to the left or right. I grunt as Link stops to rest on a large hill. It's too steep for Guardians, Bloody said when we were getting ready to pass it, so Link climbed it with me still on his back. He leans me against a tree and gently leans me forward to check my back.

"U-um," Link trails off. "You might need to take your shirt off." His entire face is blood red. I feel heat rush to my face as well. Bloody breaks the awkwardness.

"No, the Guardian blew a hole in her shirt." Bloody says, gently pushing my stomach closer to the ground. "See?"

"Oh, yeah. Much less awkward." Link says. I nod. Both of us are still blushing, though. "It looks pretty bad, though." Link adds. I groan.

"And it hurts like crap!" I grunt. Link chuckles. "It's not funny!" Link smiles lightly and sits next to me. I lean on him and yawn deeply. Link's fingers lock together with my right hand. Bloody wags his tail and curls up in front of me. I smile at the wolf and run my hand along his back down to his tail a few times. I fall asleep almost instantly after Link does. 

I look around to find water under my feet and a clear sky above me. Someone walks over and hugs me. I tense, unsure of who it is.

"It's ok. I'm safe." He says. I nod and slowly hug him back. "It's been a while, Julia." Anyone read my Skyward Sword book yet? That's where the name is from! I'm gonna be calling Y/N Julia from now on (cuz I'm lazy) I hesitate.

"Who?" I ask.
