Oh, No
The old guy (who we should all know by now, hopefully, is King Rhoam) basically claimed out of complete randomness that (Y/N) is an evil being. (Sarcastically thinking: Fun.) I know some of the characters might seem off in the story, but it's my story so deal with it! Hah! But, in all seriousness, I haven't played the game. I'm just going off what a YouTube walkthrough went through (kinda). Yea, I watched Zeldamaster.
Link and I work our way to a pile of boulders, on the old guy's request. More like he didn't give Link an option, and Link had said he didn't wanna leave me with the guy, so he's taking me with him. Cool!
"You don't have to if you don't want." I say. "You can just leave me back at the Shrine of Resurrection. I'll be fine from there."
"No, I want you to come. Especially since it seems like a destiny was thrust on me without a choice." Link says.
"Yeah, you really didn't have a choice. Then again, none of us do."
"I just feel better knowing someone is going along with me on this thing." Link sighs. "I guess I don't feel as alone."
"I've been alone since I can remember. Probably longer. I dunno." I say. "Literally."
"Yeah, you probably know more about surviving out here than I do." Link says. We stop for the night about halfway to our destination. I lean on a rock while Link makes a fire. He even somehow ends up with a seared steak! How did he DO that?!
"So what are we gonna do when we get there?" I ask. Link shrugs.
"I dunno. Investigate? I guess we'll find out when we get there." Link says, looking toward the rock pile. He uses his sword to cut the steak in half, handing me a piece, biting into the other.
"I hope everything turns out ok." I say. "Although," I trail off.
"What the old guy said is stuck in your head, isn't it?" Link asks. I nod sheepishly.
"Y-yeah." I admit. Link scoots closer to me.
"It doesn't matter what he said. You're in control of yourself and nobody else is." Link says gently, a hand on my shoulder. I smile at him.
"Thanks, Link." I say. He nods.
"Now let's get some sleep." He says, finishing off his half of the steak. I'd finished mine a bit ago. I nod, resting my head on the rock behind me. Link suddenly rests his head on my shoulder.
"Is - is it awkward?" Link asks me.
"Not really." I say. "You're fine." I feel him nod against my shoulder and fall asleep in ten seconds flat. Anyone get the reference? I fall asleep later, just as I feel my head roll over onto Link's.
Nightmare coming up in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . Now . . .
"Hey! Get up!" I hear a voice echo in my mind. I look around and gasp. I press my back into the wall behind me, looking up at a man with grey-ish skin, white clothes with diamonds cut out of them, white hair, black eyes and an evil grin.
"Greetings, child." He says coolly. I stand up.
"W-who are you?" I ask.
"Aw, she's scared. How cute." He laughs. I growl.
"Answer me!" I yell. "Who are you? What do you want with me?"
"Oh. Yes. My name is Ghirahim, although I'd prefer it if you'd use my full title, Demon Lord Ghirahim."
"Oh no." I gasp.
