- Lily's PoV-

~8:00 am, Homeroom~

"I'm so bored...." I sigh and lay my head down on the wooden desk, making a soft yet loud thud.

"Did you finish your projects already Lily?" Ayumi asks, carrying a bunch of books to her seat before sitting down.

"I just need to finish the last one regarding the History of our Ancestors and thats it, I guess." I sigh. Why must there be such things as projects these days?

"Oh I see. Well make sure to finish them or else the teachers will scold you." Ayumi states, grabbing a book from the stack of books she got.

Me and Ayumi talk about other things for awhile. We talked about a bunch of stuff, like food or music while waiting for the bell to ring, but that would take forever. Its weird how our homeroom is 2 hours but I won't mind it since it has always been like that. Besides if its 2 hours, theres more time to chill and just talk with others. Unless your one of the people thats too lazy to do projects, like for example Thomas and Peter. They hardly do their projects and just do it when its almost the deadline. If you look at them right now, their rushing to finish their projects while the rest of us are just chill.

"Hey guys! What are you two talking about?" Victor asks, waving hi and sitting on his seat.

"Oh just random stuff. We're both bored so, yeah." I say with an obvious bored or sleepy tone.

"I see, random stuff...Oh wait, Ayumi remember the thing we were talking about earlier in the morning?" Victor asks, turning to look at Ayumi. I tilt my head in confusion to what he meant, understandable anyway since I didn't hear about it.

"Oh that! I didn't tell Lily about it yet." Ayumi exclaims, remembering what Victor meant. Victor nods and just slouches back on his chair.

"Well what do you want to tell me?" I ask, getting more curious by the second.

"You see, theres this new shop nearby and we wanted to go there for snacks and all. We also want you to come along with us if you can." Ayumi states.

"If I remember correctly, they have Fortune Cookies that are really accurate. Well thats just from what I heard but I think its true." Victor explains.

"Oh okay and sure I guess I can go." I say, Ayumi and Victor smiling at my reply. But inside I was kinda mentally freaked out by hearing Victor say 'Accurate Fortune Cookies'. The last time I had an Accurate Fortune Cookie was during my vacation, and oh my god did the quote it said, actually happened...

~Flashback~

~11:45 am, At a restaurant...~

"Woah the smell of food is intense here..." I mutter, looking around to find some seats.

"Its because the dishes here have alot of spices and are from different countries." My Aunt says, sitting down at a table near the counter, Me and my Mom following behind her.

"Well then, lets start ordering some food." My Mother says. A waitress approaches our table and hands us some menu's to order from. I grab a menu and flip through it. The waitress approaches us again and asks us for our order. We state our orders before going back to doing whatever we were doing.

"So hows New York so far Lily?" My Aunt asks, eating some chips that the waitress gave.

"So far its been amazing! You've shown me things i've never seen before, Aunt Carrolline." I smile, thinking about the past places we've been to.

"Glad to hear that your enjoying your stay. Anyways we should eat now, it seems the food has arrived." Aunt Carrolline says, looking at the waitress who is placing down plates and food.

~15 Minutes Later...~

"I'm full, thanks for the food..." I yawn before slouching back onto the fluffly couch like seat.

"Oh lets not forget about the Fortune Cookies!" My Mother exclaims excitedly before grabbing a plate of Fortune Cookies.

"Fortune Cookies? They have those things here?" I ask, a curious smile creeping on to my face.

"Yes. Its sort of a tradition in this restaurant. Anyways lets open some shall we?" Aunt Carolline states before getting a Fortune Cookie.

I get one from the small plate and look at it. These things aren't that accurate anyways, right? If it is accurate and if it gives me good blessings or fortune, then I need more of these things. I look at my Fortune Cookie and slowly crack it, revealing a small folded piece of paper inside. I pull the paper out of the cracked shell of what used to be the Fortune Cookie. I unfold it and mentally read whats on the paper. 'Your childhood love will come back to you' is whats written on the paper. I stare at the paper and process what the given quote means. A bunch of flashbacks go through my mind, the flashbacks being about when I was young and about him. My Mom waves a hand infront of my face making me snap out of the trance I was in.

"Something wrong dear?" My Mother asks with a worried expression.

"Umm uhh, no i'm fine. I just got confused with what my quote meant thats all." I say, smiling to make my Mother understand.

"Ahh I see. Well if you have a hard time understanding it, just ask me or Aunty Carolline." Mother giggles, earning a stare from Aunt Carolline.

"Rose don't call me Aunty i'm your sister, geez. Lily don't call me Aunty, your Mother is making up weird names. And Aunty sounds kiddy to me, no offence, sis." Aunt Carolline sighs.

"Oh umm I see." I laugh when I see my Mother and Aunt Carolline fighting about nicknames.

But the quote or Fortune Cookie I got. It wasn't what I expected at all. I thought it would be something else but not relating to him. Well I just hope it doesn't come true or i'm legit gonna die. And by die I mean not literally, but I mean in a way where he might remember everything from before...

~End of Flashback~

Anyways I still can't believe that happened. And if I were to describe how I felt when I saw the quote, I would say I was 'Shook'. Or whatever Fredrick would say when he's suprised or as I said, 'Shook'. Ayumi pinches my arm when she notices i'm not saying anything.

"Eeeyaaa! What the heck was that for?!" I ask, pulling my arm away before it gets pinched even more.

"You weren't listening so I just pinched you." Ayumi smiles, trying to muffle her laugh by keeping her mouth tightly shut. While Victor in the other hand is laughing to death at my reaction. But me saying 'Eeyaa!' just now was honestly cringy to me. Why do I do this to myself?

"Anyways theres still a spot for one more person to come with us. So you could try asking one more person if they wanna come with us." Ayumi says.

"Maybe Andrew perhaps?" Victor mumbles quietly, earning a stare from me. He shrinks back into his seat while Ayumi looks at him confused. Well thank goodness she didn't hear what he said.

"Yeah i'll ask some of the others if they wanna tag along." I sigh, turning around to look at the front. The bell rings which makes everyone quickly rush back to their seats. God I wish the next subject wasn't Chemistry, but it just had to be the next subject of all things.

~12:15 pm, Lunch Time~

I keep my books and slouch back on to my chair. My brain feels tired from all the drills Sir Lee had to give us during Science. It made my brain hurt from thinking too much. I close me eyes and doze off for awhile without realizing it. I flinch up when someone softly taps my shoulder. I snap my eyes open and turn my head. I see Andrew, making me feel a bit relieved it wasn't a random person who tried to wake me up.

"So uhhh lunch?" Andrew asks, a nervous smile on his face.

"Yes lunch. Its already 12 pm so lets hurry up." I say, standing up and walking out of the classroom, Andrew following beside me.

~4 Minutes Later~

"Darn it, you're still smarter than me." I pout, chewing on some bacon and staring down at the book in front of me and Andrew.

"Only by a bit. You know I used to have tutor remember?" Andrew states, laughing as he see's me pouting even more.

"Then that makes it even more unfair! Since you have tutor you're a bit more advanced in some topics." I exclaim, eating more food to make me feel better. Even though that sounds really kiddy, its one way to not make me throw food at someone's face.

"Just study and you'll be like me some day." Andrew says with a proud smile and proud pose. It looked a bit cringy though, no offence but the proud pose does make it look a bit cringy.

"No offence but that sounds cringy." I say, laughing at how cringy and hilarious that sounded.

"Oh uhh, whatever. But you get the point okay?" Andrew says, waving his hand trying not to look awkward.

I sigh, remembering the thing Ayumi and Victor told me. They did say one more person can come along. But should I ask Andrew if he can go with us? It would be a bit awkward to ask him right? Well whatever, i'll just ask him anyways.

"Hey Andrew, you wanna hang out later? There's a restaurant or shop nearby that i'm gonna go to later." I ask, hoping he says no.

"Oh sure that'd be great. I don't have basketball practice later anyway." Andrew says, as he takes a spoonful of his lunch.

'Darn it, I thought he would say no not yes." I thought, thinking that he would decline.

"Oh okay, lets meet up at the locker area later after class. Oh and don't be late cause I know your late most of the time." I say, closing my lunch box and keeping it in my bag.

"Yeah, yeah I know." Andrew says, keeping his lunch bag as well.

"And don't suprise me like last time!" I exlaim, Andrew laughing at my statement.

"I won't, trust me. I won't magically appear or something to suprise you." Andrew says. I think he studied witchcraft during the 8 years he years he was gone. Or he could just be really good at suprising me and nearly giving me a heart attack every now and then.

~3:40 pm, After Class~

"Its finally after class..." I sigh, slouching onto my chair with a light thud.

"Yay, its time to go eat snacks!" Ayumi exclaims, grabbing her bag and stretching her arms.

"Yup its time to go to the food place. Also Lily who was the person you asked to go with us?" Victor asks, turning to look at me.

"Oh I asked Andrew cause I didn't know who else to ask." I say, laying my head on the desk. I feel sleepy but I have to go with Ayumi and Victor to the restaurant thing. I guess my soft bed and pillows can wait...

"Really? Wow I didn't know you'd listen to me." Victor murmurs quietly, earning a glare from me making him shriek silently cause my hair made me look like a ghost lady. Man i'm glad my hair can make me horryfying for good reasons.

"I didn't know who else to ask, so why not? Besides, I don't want to ask everyone else since they either go party, study, or sleep in their house most of the time. Well thats what people mostly do these days." I say, Ayumi and Victor saying 'good point' as their reply.

"Anyways, where is Andrew? I don't see him in the classroom anymore." Ayumi asks, looking around the classroom.

"I think he went to the lockers already. I did tell him to meet me there so we should go now I think." I say, standing up and getting my backpack.

"Okay. But first of of all, fix your hair you look goth and a bit creepy." Ayumi says, handing me over a comb. I look at the comb and look at Ayumi, who is just staring at me. I sigh and start fixing my hair so I won't look 'creepy' or something.

"That better? Do I not look like a ghost lady anymore, dude?" I ask.

"Yeah now you look more like a deformed clown if that's better." Ayumi says sarcastically, earning a laugh from me and Victor.

We head out of the classroom and to the locker area faster than normal to catch up with Andrew, well if he's there. Hopefully he isn't there cause if he is, i'd have survive an entire dinner with him. Or an entire afternoon snacks time with him. When we arrive at the locker area, I could see Andrew leaning on his locker, looking at his watch to check the time. I stop and turn to look at Ayumi and Victor, telling them to wait. I slowly tip toe behind Andrew without him noticing me. I mess my hair real quick and shake his shoulders while sounding like a ghost lady.

"Holy mother of god!" Andrew shrieks and turns around doing a kung fu pose. I laugh looking at how childish he is while he tries to slice nothing but the air.

"Haha, thats what you get for suprising me!" I laugh, fixing my hair into its proper postion. Andrew gasps when he realizes that I was the one who suprised him, not some random lady who wants to take his soul.

"Fine, fine you got me..." Andrew sighs, putting his hands down from his kung fu pose.

"Anyways, sorry we arrived late. We had to fix up some stuff back at the classroom." I say, Ayumi and Victor finally walking towards me and Andrew.

"Oh Ayumi, Victor hello there. I'm guessing you guys are coming along?" Andrew asks, turning to look at Ayumi and Victor.

"Yup. We were the ones that told Lily about the restaurant and if she could go with us." Both of them say in unison.

"Oh I see. Well i'm glad I can come along with you guys then. Anyways lead the way to the restaurant I guess." Andrew says. Man why did I even ask him to come with us anyway? I could have just asked someone else but now I have to survive probably 30 minutes eating snacks with him. Ayumi and Victor nod before walking in front of us. Victor pulls my arm and I silently shriek when he does since I didn't know he would do that.

"Dude what was that for?" I ask, glaring at Victor who tells me to whisper quietly.

"I didn't know you would listen to my advice about asking Andrew dude." Victor whispers.

"One, no I didn't listen to your advice on asking him. Two I only asked him since i'm too awkward when I ask someone else." I reply, Victor nodding slowly.

"Anyways, you still asked him didn't you?" Victor says, smiling sarcastically.

"Oh shut up! I just asked him, nothing more, nothing else." I state, slapping Victor's arm slightly before walking beside Andrew again.

"What was Victor asking Lily? You guys seemed like you were fighting there." Andrew asks, looking back at me.

"Oh nothing. Don't mind him he just says weird stuff to me sometimes." I sigh, glaring at Victor when he turns to look at me and Andrew. God why did I tell him about my feelings for Andrew again? Oh yeah, it was because he was asking me and Ayumi if we had someone we liked. Well at least he's not teasing me too much about it. If he did he'd be expecting a very painful slap on his back.

"Hmm if you say so." Andrew replies, looking at Ayumi and Victor, who are leading the way to the restaurant.

~10 Minutes Later~

We stop in front of a small restaurant or shop after awhile. It said 'Open' in the front door, meaning it isn't closed yet. We open the door, hearing a slightly loud creak echo through out the shop. The shop had red decorations everywhere. Red curtains, red table linen, oh lets not forget about the red ornaments decorating the place. We find a seat near the door and place our things.

"Oh Lily who do you want to sit with by the way? Me or Andrew?" Ayumi asks, sitting down on her seat.

"I guess i'll sit with...." There was a long silence for awhile before I finally replied. "I guess i'll sit with Andrew." I reply, sitting down beside Andrew who was already seated. Victor sits beside Ayumi, who is now scrolling through her Youtube to try and find some videos to watch. A waitress approaches us with a paper and pen in hand.

"Hello there. May I take your order?" She asks, flipping through a bunch of paper before clicking her pen to start writing.

"I'd like some Fruit Juice and Tacos please." Ayumi says, looking up from her phone real quick.

"If you guys have Fries then i'll order that." Victor says.

"I guess i'll order a Cheese Burger. Oh and put some extra ketchup if you can." Andrew says, the waitress putting a note of adding extra ketchup on the burger.

"Umm I guess i'll take some Apple Pie I guess." I say. The waitress notes down our orders before heading back to the counter to put in the orders. Ayumi and Victor are just watching Youtube as of now, while Andrew is just watching Call of Duty gameplays. And yes he plays Call of Duty alot before so i'm used to seeing him watch Call of Duty. I decide to use my phone while waiting for our order.

~6 Minutes Later~

We recieve our orders and stare at our food, amazed by how good it looks. We start eating our food while talking about random things. Ayumi is talking about how she has alot of chocolate in her house. Victor as of right now is begging Ayumi to give him chocolate and he's doing his famous 'puppy eyes' technique but so far its not working. Me and Andrew just stare at Ayumi and Victor, laughing every now and then when they both start pinching or slapping each other because of the chocolates.

"I already told you, you won't get any!" Ayumi exclaims, slapping Victor's arm which makes him pinch Ayumi's hand.

"But come on, three boxes of white chocolate?! You need to give me some!" Victor exclaims, glaring at Ayumi.

"God you guys need to relax..." I sigh, getting a slice of Apple Pie from my plate.

"Are they always like this?" Andrew ask, munching on his Cheese Burger.

"Well sometimes their fine, but sometimes they could turn into this..." I say, pointing at Ayumi and Victor who are now having a mini food eating contest with their food. Man why can't these guys stop making me laugh to death every now and then?

"Well then, their really good friends Lily." Andrew says, some ketchup going onto his cheek.

"Yeah they are. Oh also theres some ketchup on your face you know." I say, getting a tissue from the tissue box.

"Really where?" Andrew asks, placing his burger down onto the table.

"On your cheek. Here use some tissue to wipe it off." I say, a bunch of tissues on my hand.

"Can you uhh wipe it? I'm sorry if thats weird but I legit can't feel any ketchup on my cheek or face." Andrew says, wiping his cheek with his hand that also has ketchup.

'Oh my god he's putting more ketchup on his face. I guess I have no choice but to wipe it off.' I thought, seeing Andrew try his best to remove the ketchup, but itd getting worse and worse since his hand also has ketchup.

"Stop wiping your face the ketchup is going everywhere. I'll wipe it off so don't move." I say, getting some tissues and padding it on his face. I wipe off the ketchup from his cheek, feeling a bit weirded out cause, why am I even doing this?

"Thanks Lily, I don't want to look like a murderer so thank you for wiping the ketchup off my cheek." Andrew smiles a goofy smile, wiping his hand with some left over tissue.

"Y-your welcome. But next time be careful about the ketchup. Your nice looking face should not look weird...." I mutter quietly the last few parts, turning around to continue eating like I didn't say the last part. Gosh darn it why did I even say that anyways.

"What was that? I didn't hear the last bits there." Andrew asks, turning around to look at me, sill munching on his Cheese Burger.

"N-nothing! I just said you should be carefull so you won't look like a murderer." I exclaim, almost dropping a slice of Apple Pie on the floor. Andrew just shrugs his shoulders before turning around to continue eating. After a few minutes the waitress placed a plate of Fortune Cookies on our table before leaving to go back to the counter.

"Yay its here! The thing we came for has finally arrived." Ayumi smiles. Smiling devilishly while looking at the cookies. I just stare, slightly creeped out but i'm kinda used to it anyways. We all get one Fortune Cookies before cracking our cookie at once.

'Lets see what I got here...' I thought, silently hoping I don't get a romance quote. Cause if I did i'm legit gonna mentally rage at my luck.

'Love can last a life time, if you want it to.' was what was written on the paper. Love can last a life time, huh? Does that mean my feelings could last a life time? Does that mean I could like him forever? Hold on why am I asking myself these questions? I have a strange feeling I know why I got this quote, but at the same time I feel like I don't.

"I don't know how to describe my quote but I kinda understand it." Andrew says, eating the shell of what used to be the Fortune Cookie.

"Whats your quote everyone? Maybe we can help figure out the meaning or something." I ask, curious of everyone's quote, especially Andrew's. I swear if his is a romance one i'm gonna mentally scream.

"Mine says 'You will be rewarded for being a good listener in the next week.' Thats supposed to be good right?" Ayumi asks.

"Yup. Now that I think about it, Ayumi is mostly the one listening to our problems every now and then." Victor says, all of us nodding along. "Anyways mine is 'Your ability for accomplishment will follow with success.' Does that mean i'll be successful in the future?" Victor asks, looking at Andrew who is being quiet.

"Well I guess so. Being one of your classmates and all, i've seen you accomplish some stuff this year." Andrew says with a smile. Victor smiles back before gesturing Andrew to say his quote. "Oh mine is 'Doing what you love is Freedom. Loving what you do is happiness.' I guess I kinda understand it." Andrew says.

"Hmm your quote is nice. Its inspirational to me." I say with a smile, a bit glad its not a romance quote. Ayumi and Victor smile before gesturing me to tell my quote. I hesitate and shake my head to disagree, making them question why I didn't want to say my quote. I can't tell them mine, its just too awkward and weird to say. "I don't wanna say mine if thats alright with you guys...." I say, looking down and folding my paper.

"Why? Is the quote bad or something?" Ayumi asks, drinking some of her Fruit Juice while waiting for my reply. I continue to look down, hoping they won't ask anymore and that they'll just not mind it. Andrew looks at me and notices how I look hesitant about my quote, since I kept crumpling and opening my paper.

"Maybe she just doesn't want to say it. We have to respect her privacy and all." Andrew says, making me look up to look at him. Huh, he respects my privacy for not telling my quote I guess.

"Andrew has a point there. If you don't feel comfortable telling us then we won't push you to tell." Victor says, Ayumi nodding in agreement.

"I'm glad you guys understand. Also its getting a bit late so we should go now." I say, looking outside to see the sky turn orange, meaning it was already sunset. All of us stand up and leave the shop, making sure to leave a tip on the table.

"Guess your right. Well see you all tomorrow! I have to go fast so I won't miss my favorite TV show!" Ayumi waves bye to us before running of into the distance.

"I'm gonna go as well, I wanna watch some Youtube later so bye dude." Victor says before walking to a nearby bus stop. The only ones left were me and Andrew. Both of us stood in silence as we both looked at the opposite direction.

"Well then its just you and me I guess." Andrew says, trying to break the awkward silence beetween us. I slowly nod, still looking away while Andrew does the same. God I can't be more awkward than this, I have to speak up!

"I guess so. We should head back home too, its getting late." I say, walking away slowly in the opposite direction before a hand softly touches my wrist.

"Lemme come with you. Its not safe for you to be out when its almost night time." Andrew says, smiling a caring yet serious smile at me. I can understand he just wants me to be fine so I shrug my shoulders and turn to look at him.

"F-fine but only until my house. After that you have to go, okay?" I say, slowly pulling my arm to remove it from Andrew's grip. Andrew lets go of his hand and nods before we start our walk to my house.

"Its just nearby so we're almost there." I say, walking on the sidewalk decorated with some small flowers. The wind softly blew, making some flower petals go past us, decorating the side walk with some petals.

"Its been awhile since I saw your house." Andrew says, looking around the familiar yet new neighborhood. Some of our old neighbors moved out so it looked kinda different seeing new people walk around.

"Its been awhile since I saw your house too. I wonder if it still looks the same." I mutter, seeing a blue house with a white colored roof near one of the corners of the street. My house was pretty far from the main neighborhood but a decent amount of people lived near us so it was fine.

"Woah, you repainted your house or something? It looks good even after 8 years." Andrew asks, looking at the bright colors and flowers decorating my house. Me and my Dad love flowers so we decided to decorate our front door with some, oh and lemme just say my Dad is in love with tools so our garage is always stuffed.

"We kinda did but not that much." I say, turning around to look at Andrew. "Well this is where we say bye I guess. Thank you for coming with me by the way." I say. I'm kinda glad he did coms with me cause who knows if some random dude will approach me.

"That what childhood friends are for, Lily. Anyways i'll see you tomorrow!" Andrew waves good bye before running to the other sidewalk to go to his house.

I wave good bye before sighing and walking up to the front door. I'm so glad I didn't say my Fortune Cookie quote, if I did I think I would be doomed by now. The world seriously need to stop trying to make me remember my feelings, cause its giving me a heart attack almost every time these days. All I can do is hope that no romantic-ish moments happen tomorrow, or else the world seriously needs some help with trying to make me fall in love cause its not working which is good.

Chapter 7 is here guys! After a long time I finally reached my goal of having one Both of Us chapter reach 4000+ words. So how did you guys like the cute moments beetween Andrew and Lily? Lemme just say Andrew getting scared by Lily is just adorable in my opinion! But man Lily also had to wipe ketchup off of Andrew's face. If I was her I would feel really awkward too cause its just awkward as it sounds.

Anyways one of my friends helped me write a bit of the chapter but I can't put his name here cause he said he's lazy to make a Wattpad account, and cause he said 'Just say i'm a secret helper' or something. Anyways if he does make an account i'll put it in the next chapter! See you in the next chapter!
