-Lily's Pov-

~The Next Day,6:30 am,At Home...~

I wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside, as the early morning sunshine came in through my window. I softly rub my eyes and stretch my arms before sitting up. I look around before looking at my alarm clock.

"Huh I woke up earlier than usual..." I say as I look at my alarm clock which said 6:30 am in the morning.

It was still far from the time my alarm was supposed to ring. So I decided to skip the alarm for today, since weirdly enough it had that kind of function. I stand up and walk towards the mirror near my closet. I ruffle my hair before walking to the door.

I softly place my hand on the doorknob, turning it softly making the door open. I walk out of my room and close my room's door. I walk towards the stairs, stepping on it softly since it creaks most of the time these days. I walk towards the kitchen and see a note on the table along with some food.

"It seems like Mom and Dad had to leave early..." I say picking up the note and reading it.

I grab a chair and sit down while getting the food on the table. I grab the plate near me, along with some utensils before I start eating. After eating, I place my dishes in the sink and head towards the stairs to go to my room.

I walk up the stairs walking up ever so slowly since I was still sleepy. I walk towards my room and open the door.

"Now I just need to take a bath real quick..." I say as I get my towel and head to the bathroom.

I walk into the bathroom and get into the shower. I put my clothes and my towel at the side as I turn on the shower. After a few minutes, I get out of the shower and wear my towel. I walk out of the bathroom and I walk back to my room.

I sit down on my bed and start drying my hair with my towel for awhile. I wrap my towel around my hair before I start changing. I get a purple blouse and blue jeans and start putting them on. I walk towards my desk where all my stuff was at.

I grab my backpack and put my phone, wallet and books inside it. Suddenly I remember about the Yearbook from yesterday. I walk towards some book shelves and start shuffling through them. I find the Yearbook and I smile to myself awaiting for today's result.

"Today's the day I find out if he's really the Andrew I know about..." I say walking back towards my desk.

I place the Yearbook in my backpack, along with some other stuff I forgot to place inside. I softly zipped the backpack before wearing it on my back. I get my headband and I place it on my head before walking out of my room. I walk down the stairs until I reach the shoe cabinet near the door.

I place my slippers in the shoe cabinet and I get my red rubber shoes. I quickly wear them before walking towards the door. I walk outside and walk towards the nearest bus stop that goes to my school.

I see the bus in the distance as it slowly slowed down and stopped at the bus stop. It opened its doors in front of me. I slowly get inside and I look around to find myself a seat. I find a seat near the window and decided to sit there.

I walk through the half empty columns of bus seats until I reach my seat. I sit down and look outside of the window. I knew today was gonna be a long day for sure. I look at the front and I see a sign saying that the bus will pass by another bus stop, before it heads to my school.

I sigh and lean back on to my seat. I get my phone and earphones from my bag. I plug in my earphones and I scroll down my phone to find some music. I click a random music playlist before I start to wear my earphones.

"Time to wait..." I mumbled wondering how today's events will play out.

-Andrew's Pov-

~6:30 am, At Home...~

I wake up to the sound of my alarm ringing. I rub my eyes and slam my hand down on the alarm to make it stop ringing. I immediatly stand up and rub my eyes again. I stand up and start stretching a bit so I won't get cramps or anything later.

I look at my alarm clock and see that it was still 6:30 am in the morning. I sigh and start wondering to myself why I had a really early alarm schedule. I shake my head before I start walking towards the door.

I open the doorknob and walk towards the stairs. I walk down as quickly as possible. I didn't want to be late so I just decided to hurry up with eating breakfast and changing. I walk into the kitchen and get a bowl, milk and cereal from the shelf.

I grab a chair and I sit down,still feeling tired and sleepy. I open the box of cereal and pour some in the bowl,along with some milk. I grab a spoon that was near me and started eating the cereal quickly.

After finishing the cereal, I place the bowl in the sink to be washed later. I had to hurry up and change so I didn't want to wash it right now. I stand up and I walked up the stairs. I walk back to my room,opening the door slowly since I actually just realized my parents were still sleeping.

I close the door behind me,ever so slowly making sure it doesn't creak. I sigh and walk towards my closet near the corner of my room. I open it and start shuffling through my clothes randomly.

I continue shuffling through my clothes until I find a blue shirt and some jeans. I throw them on the bed and I started changing quickly.

After changing I go to my desk and I shuffled through my things. I get some books and notebooks and I walked near the end of the room to get my backpack. I place all my books and notebook inside before zipping the zipper closed. I put on my backpack and open the door of my room.

I walk out of my room and I walk down the stairs. I walk near the main entrance until I see the shoe cabinet. I remove my slippers and I placed them in the shoe cabinet. I get my blue rubber shoes and swiftly put them on.

I walk towards the door and I open it slowly. I close the door behind me and I breathe in the fresh air. I walk towards the nearest bus stop and waited there for awhile. After a few minutes,the bus arrived and it came to a slow stop in front of me.

It opens its doors slowly and I slowly get inside of the bus. The bus driver closes the doors behind me. I look around to see where I can sit. Almost all the seats were full except for one. I look at the person who was sitting at the half unoccupied seat.

'Wait isn't that Lily?' I thought seeing Lily looking out of the window with earphones on.

I slowly walk towards her seat,while I was nervous to ask if I can sit there. I stopped walking until I reached her seat. It also seemed like she didn't notice me walking towards her, since she just continued humming to whatever song she was listening to in her earphones.

I stared at her for awhile wondering if I should ask her. I sigh and decided to ask her no matter what her response is gonna be. I slowly reach out my hand to shake her shoulder. I softly shook her shoulder and she slowly turned to look at me.

She looked rather suprised and looked as if she suddenly got nervous. She removed her earphones and shook her head lightly.

"Oh Andrew its you! What is it?" Lily said making sure she didn't shout out loud.

"Can I sit here? There's no more extra seats around here except for yours." I ask kinda worried for her response.

"Oh sure that's fine with me." Lily nodded and moved near the window to make space for me to sit down.

I smiled and sat down on the seat. I leaned on my seat and glanced at Lily. It seemed like she wore her earphones again. Well I shouldn't disturb her so I should just not ask her any questions for now. But judging from the atmosphere right now it feels REALLY awkward somehow.

I glanced at Lily again and noticed her humming again. It looked as if she really liked listening to music. Now that I think of it though, Lily always liked listening to music before when we were younger. She especially loved calm music since it makes her forget her problems.

'Hmm i'm starting to think she really is the Lily I knew...' I thought for awhile.

-Lily's PoV-

I hum to the music I was listening to. But even though I was listening to music, I still can't make my mind stop thinking about Andrew sitting beside me. The atmosphere is legit really awkward and I feel like i'm making it more awkward by humming to music acting like he isn't beside me.

I quickly glance at him and notice him staring me. I look at the window nervous on why he was staring at me. I glance again and noticed he was still staring at me. I got more nervous and started wondering if I should ask why he's staring at me.

I sigh quietly and decide to ask him why he was staring at me. It took me a few minutes to actually ask him though, cause of my worried brain that thinks he'll get annoyed if I ask. But he legit has been staring at me for awhile now,so I have to ask him by now.

"Hey Andrew why have you been staring at me for awhile now?" I say removing my earphones and shaking his shoulder lightly.

"Huh, wait was I staring?" Andrew asked looking as if he got pulled out of his thoughts.

"Yeah for awhile now." I say. It looked as if he was thinking about something.

"Oh sorry I was thinking about something. I didn't know I was staring at you." Andrew said looking down.

"Hey its fine! Its understandable,you were thinking of something that might be serious after all." I smile and pat his head softly,hoping he would look up and not be depressed.

"Thanks for understanding Lily." Andrew looked up smiling. He held the top of his head for awhile afer I patted him.

The bus suddenly stopped and we both looked at the front. We notice we were already at school. The bus driver opens the doors and all the students start walking outside of the bus quickly.

"Come on lets go, we wouldn't want to be late." Andrew said standing up.

I nod and we both walk out of the bus. We both walk into the school buiding and walk towards the stairs. We walk up the stairs until we reached the 3rd floor. We walked towards our classroom near the end of the hallway.

Andrew opens the door and we see everyone talking to the others like usual. I walk inside and he closes the door behind me. I turn around to look at him real quick.

"Well see you later I guess." I say waving my hand slowly.

"Yeah I guess so." Andrew said smiling, before walking towards the seats where the basketball players mostly sit at.

I walk towards my seat which was in the front row of the classroom but it was near the windows. I sit down and place my backpack beside my seat. The bell rings signaling the start of class.

I remember about the Yearbook which was in my bag. I decide to show it to everyone during Homeroom later. For now I had to focus on class...

~8:30 am, Homeroom...~

I stretch my arms and yawn as I hear the bell signaling the start of Homeroom. I get my backpack and I open the zipper. I get the Yearbook from my bag and place it on my table. I notice Ayumi walking towards my desk.

"Oh what's this Lily?" Ayumi asks looking at the Yearbook.

"Oh its the Yearbook from 8 years ago. I remember you had this before too right?" I ask.

"Yup I actually still have it. Hey lets show this to everyone!" Ayumi says excited to show the Yearbook to everyone.

"Okay you can tell everyone I have the Yearbook. I'm not good at telling others about stuff like this remember." I say.

"Yeah, yeah I know i'll shout it. That okay?" Ayumi asks. I nod in agreement before Ayumi turns around to look at everyone.

"Hey guys Lily has the Yearbook from 8 years ago!" Ayumi shouted. Everyone turned around to look at us including Andrew.

Everyone started walking towards my seat to look at the Yearbook. I opened the Yearbook to make everyone look at it. I notice Andrew standing up and walking towards my seat. He looks at the Yearbook and see's his old individual picture

"Hey isn't that you Andrew?" Someone asks. When I heard that question I suddenly got tense, awaiting what Andrew's answer is gonna be.

"Yeah it is. Its from 8 years ago as I remember." Andrew said looking at his picture.

The moment I heard that I knew my guess was right. I knew he was the Andrew that I always had a crush on. Along with the Andrew I was best friends with before. Suddenly someone opened the Yearbook where all the girl individual pictures were at.

And since it was arranged by family name's I was the first person to be shown in the first page. Andrew looked at my picture, making me guess he still remembers my face from before. Suddenly Ayumi tapped my shoulder lightly.

"Hey Lily look its your old picture!" Ayumi said pointing at the specific picture Andrew was looking at.

Andrew looked at me, suprised a bit from the sudden statement from Ayumi. I got nervous but decided to just say the truth since I already know about Andrew being the Andrew I knew. So it would be kinda fair if Andrew knew I was the Lily he knew, well if he didn't know I was the Lily he knew.

"Yeah it is I look alot more chubby before don't I?" I said giggling a bit. Ayumi giggled a bit with me from what she heard me say.

The bell rung suddenly signaling the start of class again. Everyone got suprised by the bell and started rushing back to there original seats including Andrew. I closed the Yearbook and placed it in my bag.

'Great time to survive until the end of class again...' I thought seeing the Professor come inside the classroom.

~4:30 pm, After Class...~

I quickly keep my books and notebooks back in my bag, along with my pencil case. I sigh and put on my bag before standing up. I walk out of the classroom seeing i'm the only one left inside since everyone left fast.

I walk in to the empty hallways until someone approached me. I continue to walk faster but then they kept walking faster and following me as well. I reached the lockers and got my keys quickly until someone placed their hands on my shoulder.

I turn around suprised just to see Andrew behind me. I sigh and I closed my eyes for awhile since I nearly got a heart attack from that suprise.

"Were you the one following me just now?" I ask still closing my eyes.

"Yup I noticed you walking in the hallway so I wanted to catch up to you." Andrew said.

"Well then please don't suprise me again next time." I say slowly opening my eyes.

Andrew nods and walks towards his locker, which is beside mine. I turn around to open my locker and I place some of my books inside. I close my locker and lock it before turning to look at Andrew.

"So about earlier during Homeroom...." I say nervously. I was honestly scared to hear what he was about to say.

"You look so different than before you know." Andrew said closing his locker and looking at me.

"The same goes for you. You almost changed completely." I say glad to hear a response that didn't sound angry or anything.

"So its been 8 years since we talked...." Andrew said.

"Yes it has. How were you for the past 8 years?" I ask hoping to make the atmosphere less awkward.

"I'm fine just been busy with basketball stuff. How about you?" Andrew asks.

"Well i'm also fine just been busy with hobbies lately." I reply.

"Anyways, its getting late I think we should go now..." I say fixing my backpack and getting ready to walk out.

As I was about to walk out of the entrance. Andrew softly grabbed my hand, which stopped me from leaving and made me turn around to look at me.

"I have one question for you, can I ask it?" Andrew asks letting go of my arm gently.

"Sure what is it?" I ask wondering what else he could want to ask.

"Since its been awhile since we talked...Do you want to be friends again?" Andrew asks looking at me straight in the eyes.

"S-sure i'm fine with that. Besides we've always been friends haven't we?" I say stuttering a bit.

"Thanks! I hope we can catch up on the past years we missed Lily." Andrew smiled before waving goodbye and running off into the distance.

I stood there watching him leave before sighing and walking out of the main entrance. Honestly that was not what I expected. And once again he grabbed my arm to make me stop from leaving. That moment when he was looking at me straight in the eyes though...

"Well at least we can catch up on the past years that we did miss..." I say.

As much as that sounds really romantic and weird to be honest. I sighed and just decided to go home to take my mind off of the things that happened today...
