Part 21

Khushi came to Arnav's room with the juice glass. Manorama followed her, not making a noise. She wanted to know Arnav's clear stance on Khushi's matter.

Arnav was sitting on the recliner, closing his eyes, leaning on it. He knew his family members are happy with Khushi...except him. But why is he bothering? They always spend time with her whenever she comes to RM. But this is the first time; she comes to RM in HIS presence. He would also have been with them if they had stayed in the living room. But why the hell NK took her to his room? And everyone followed them to be with her, leaving him alone.

LEAVING ALONE? Really Mr.Raizada? From when you started feeling sad about it? When did you feel to be with them? Don't you think you are thinking wired?

At that time...

Khushi knocked on the door even though the door was open. Arnav thought Manorama would have been sent juice with HP.

"Get in" he said, not opening his eyes.

Khushi was standing at the doorstep, not entering. She was not sure whether he knows it's her. She again knocked on the door.

Gritting his teeth, Arnav opened his eyes,

"I said...." He stopped, seeing Khushi with a juice glass. Is it really Khushi? Or he is dreaming? He looked at her unbelievably.

"Mami's leg got twisted. So, she asked me to give it to you."

Hearing her voice, Arnav believed that she is really here.

"Did she ask you to give it from outside of my room?" he was too polite when he asked her.

Khushi didn't know what to answer.

"Get in" his voice sounded soft.

She entered in with the juice glass, looking here and there. Not necessary to mention, Arnav's eyes were only on her. This is unexpected.

Khushi extended the juice glass towards him. Arnav took it from her hand. Khushi turned to leave,

"Thanks," Arnav said not taking his eyes off her.

Khushi nodded yes and about to leave,

"For making my Di smile"

He didn't thank her for bringing the juice. Was he not ready to thank her for silly things? Or does he think it's her DUTY? Arnav Singh Raizada was becoming ODD.

"My pleasure"

She took another step,

"What about your conference experience?" he intentionally extended the conversation with her.

Khushi frowned at him. Why is he asking her this now?

"I'm asking about the conference that we attended in the Chamber of commerce"

"That's cool"

"That's all?"

She looked at him like "What happened to you, Mr. Raizada?"

"I asked you something"

"I don't know why you are asking this now. I know you won't mix PROFESSIONAL and PERSONAL matters. I came to RM as NK's friend, not as your PA" she said calmly.

Arnav definitely didn't expect this. What does that mean? Does she ask him to SHUT UP indirectly? He composed himself.

"It seems you and Krish are so close?" he asked her an unexpected question that is not related to him.

Khushi looked at him shockingly. Why the hell he is asking about Krish?

"You are not my PA now and I'm not talking professionally. I think this is not a Professional one."

"Of course it's not a professional matter but that is purely my personal matter. I don't have to share it with you"

"Why?" He again surprised her.

"What do you mean WHY? Who are you to me, Mr. Raizada? Are you my friend...? Relative...?"

It's a million-dollar question, Ms. Gupta. Let Mr. Raizada answer.

What would he answer? Does he have an answer? Who is he to her? Neither is he her friend nor a relative. Then in what rights he is asking her about Krish?

"If I have no right to ask you about Krish, in what rights you brought me juice then?"

Khushi was really bamboozled. Has he gone mad? What is he connecting with? She folded her hands and answered.

"Mami asked me to give it to you and I respect Mami. That's why I brought it to you. And try to understand, bringing juice and asking about my personal matter is different. Like you keep your personal matters away from your profession, I too do the same. I don't like anyone poking their nose into my personal matter that is not related to them"

Saying, she left the place not waiting there. Arnav gritted his teeth furiously. How dare she? How could she ask him "who are you?" How could she ask him to stay away from her personal matter? Then why does she share everything with Krish who is also her BOSS once? What does it mean? Is Krish important than him?

What a question you have Mr. Raizada....? Of course, Krish is important than you to Khushi. You are just BOSS. But Krish is her friend...more than a Boss. Why can't you understand this?

Mr. Raizada won't mind if Krish is ONLY her friend but what if he is something more than that? But what if Krish is more than that? Why he is bothering about it? He doesn't know.

Laya fumed seeing the scene hiding behind the pillar. What does it mean? Why Arnav is getting furious about her boyfriend? Why he is interested to know about her personal matter? Here, she is dying to get close to him but he... he is running behind a girl who couldn't stand in front of his status... What the hell?

Khushi entered NK's room with a smile as usual. She felt a difference in Arnav's behavior. Though she tried not to be disturbed by Mr. Raizada's words she couldn't completely be undisturbed. Is not he a man who doesn't care about his staff? Why he behaved unusually wired asking unrelated questions?

More than Khushi, Manorama was shocked. Is this really Arnav bituwa? He looked possessive... he spoke rightfully... Though he didn't behave with her like a BOSS definitely his behavior was BOSSY. No wonder Arnav always behaves bossy but only by profession. He never pokes his nose into someone's personal matter unnecessarily. He never gives heed to someone's personal matter forget about poking nose. Then why he is bothering with whom Khushi is close?

It seems something... in which Arnav bituwa was not interested. Is he falling in love with Khushi? He looks exactly like a possessive lover. But Khushi doesn't seem so. She hesitated to go to his room. She answered him without fear. How dare she?

Manorama knew them well. Both are the same in their perspectives. If both will not give up on their stance then what will happen? Does Arnav know this is what love? Or is he doing this unaware of his own feelings? If Arnav bituwa is in love with Khushi then he won't back off. As of now, he may be unaware of his feelings for Khushi but he won't be quiet for long. He won't speak but his actions will speak volumes. Khushi will get to know his feelings soon no matter if Arnav confesses it or not.

By the way who is Krish? Who is he to Khushi? Manorama thought deeply. She believed that the cat will come out of the box soon.

The lunch table was unusually abnormal. Everyone is chitchatting with Khushi. She purposely didn't sit in front of her BOSS and took the last seat with NK. But she couldn't stop her BOSS from glancing at her. Two sets of eyes were watching him. One set was interested to know Arnav's feelings and the other set is interested on Arnav himself. They were Manorama and Laya.

After the lunch, Khushi left RM with NK. He went to drop her at the auto stand.

Raizadas dispersed to their respective rooms. Manorama and Nani followed Anjali.

"Are you fine Anjali?"

"Much better Nani. Khushiji's idea was awesome"

They dropped Anjali and about to go to their room, Manorama saw Arnav coming towards Anjali's room. Arnav wanted to ask Anjali about the NEW RING to give the order. So he came to her room. Manorama entered in with Nani, after gesturing her that Arnav is coming. Arnav stopped hearing their talks not entering IN as it was about Khushi.

"Sasuma, what do you think about Koosi?" Manorama asked Nani.

"I really want Chotte's wife to be like Khushi bitiya. How cleverly she solved the problem...? And more than that, she respects everyone in our family. Our family will be happy if we get such a BAHU."

"Honestly speaking Nani, I liked Khushiji very much and thought the same when I met her for the first time. But I dropped the idea when Chotte fought with her." Anjali said sadly.

"I'm scared thinking of Chotte's wife. What if she separates our Chotte from us or creates a rift between us? If we get Khushi like a girl as our bahu then she will be with us forever, making our relationship strong" Nani said.

"But I don't think Khushi is interested in Arnav bituwa. She is a different girl, after all." Manorama poured oil.

"How could she be interested on him if he is rude?" Anjali pouted.

"You are right Anjali bitiya, Khushi is a good girl. Her heart is so pure. She can't be trapped easily. It needs some good qualities." Nani said purposely.

"Then she never can be our Bahu... Arnav bituwa knows only to shout" Manorama said sarcastically.

We don't need to say Arnav's ears became chimneys. They were letting our smoke as his stomach is burning uncontrolled. Raizada ladies had waked up the red-eyed monster by telling the truth which touched his ego. If he is not interested in Ms. Gupta he won't give damn to their talks... but.... what if....?

With the thought of Raizada ladies' talks, Arnav came to his room. He couldn't concentrate on anything. His mind was whirling in Khushi's thoughts. Doesn't he have GOOD qualities? Of course, Khushi is a good girl doesn't mean he is bad.

His chain of thoughts got broken by Aman's call. He attended it.

"Haan Aman..."

"Thank God... you have attended my call finally"

"Did you call me?"
