Nine years. Nine years I've been running this business. After my father retired, he had announced I was to take over since his father had passed on the business to him. I've taken on their unusual ways of running things when I became the new boss. You see, to outer, ordinary citizens, thought I was the boss to extraordinary accountants, which wasn't too far from the truth, but that was just a cover up for something much bigger. I actually ran an underground drug trade. With a business like this, it's hard to replace employees and make sure they don't make a peep about it to the police; besides, they were my boys! Whenever they messed up or did something that would usually get them shot if they were working for some other drug ring, but not me. Instead of killing them, I spank the ever living daylights out of them. It's never enough to cause permanent damage, but enough to teach them a lesson and always comforted them afterwards, even if they didn't want it. My employees and I had a special relationship that most wouldn't understand. They are like sons to me, and I know they look up to me like a father figure. There was at least fifteen of them, ranging from teens to boy in their mid thirties, and I was hitting my mid forties. Despite there being so many of them, I always had time for each one of them and make sure they are in line. Everything was a system, during the day my boys would be fake accountants, and during the afternoon they would make my trades and take care of everything in the greenhouse. During the night time I would bring them food and tuck them all into their beds. Yeah, all my boys were homeless, cast aside by society and the ones they loved, but I took them in. Sure they all share rooms, but they were sheltered and safe and I know they are grateful for it. They all have tragic backstories and many suffer from ptsd, but I love them all very much. They were all my precious broken boys.
