A New World and New Friends
Boruto rubbed his eyes from another sleepless night. He had spent all day and night working. When he arrived to the Beast Kingdom a month ago he was worshipped at first but soon everyone saw him as a friend and not a God. Hayato, the sixteen year old king welcomed Boruto and allowed him to help rule his kingdom.
"You didn't sleep did you?" A boy with long brown hair and black eyes asked as he walked into Boruto's work room.
"I didn't Hayato." Boruto said. "The Plant Kingdom has been trying to take are border farm lands and I needed to stop them without causing war."
"I see," Hayato said. "I'll send some armed guards to protect the people. Worse comes to worse they can have the land."
"People will lose their homes." Boruto said.
"I would rather have them lose that then their lives." Hayato said. "You can build a new home get a new job, but you can't come back from death."
"You speak like a wise old man." Boruto said. "Your father would be proud."
"Sadly he's gone." Hayato said. "His disease got worse and he passed just before you got here."
"He sounded like a great leader," Boruto said. "And an even greater father."
"Yeah," Hayato said. "When I was younger I use to be angry that he was never around. Now I understand what he went through."
"Same here." Boruto said. "I use to hate my father for the same reasons. After some time though we became closer."
"Speaking about becoming closer," Hayato said. "Go out and meet new people. It's better then sitting in here all day."
"Yeah," Boruto said. "Some fresh air will do me good."
"You may find a girlfriend to." Hayato whispered under his breath.
"Did you say something?" Boruto asked.
"Nothing." Hayato said heading out the door.

Boruto dressed in his black and red long coat walked about the city that was so different from his home. At the hidden leaf the older houses were made of wood and the newer ones were made of steel, but here most of the homes were made of stone. Everyone walked around with smiles and enjoyed the sunny day. Next, to almost everyone, was some king of animal it was the reason they were called the beast kingdom. The members of the beast kingdom usually made a bond with an animal at the age of six, but there are some occasions when they don't make a bond until they are older or even never.
This was also why they worshiped Boruto as the Tailed Beast God. To them he had blessed them with the powers to speak to animals with bonds to humans. With this power it became illegal to kill an animal that could talk. Boruto had spent most of his first few days in this new world learning about it's laws and history. After that he focused on keeping each kingdom happy to prevent war, but the Plant Kingdom usually caused problems and Boruto wondered if it was because their God was Noka and he seemed to hate Boruto more then anyone.
He shoved the thoughts of Noka out of his head and enjoyed the day. Walking past the market and some of the schools he would wave to the people there. The kids loved Boruto and looked at him like a hero, it gave Boruto an idea on how his father felt everyday as Hokage. After showing of a few moves to his fans he went for lunch at a ramen shop. It reminded him of Konoha when he and his family would go to Ichiraku's Ramen stand. He missed them more and more each day, but he was doing this to protect them.
Boruto ordered his favorite ramen and waited for his food. He watch as children played with their spirit animals and adults going about their daily work. One day he planed to create a gate from his world to this one to unite them and allow both worlds to become peaceful places for future generations. Boruto turned in his seat to begin eating his ramen that had been waiting for a few minutes only to see a young fox licking his bowl clean. He smiled at the small orange and white fur animal.
"Were you hungry my friend?" Boruto asked.
The fox looked at him but gave no reply. He must not be a spirit animal because he couldn't talk like other animals. Boruto went to pet the young fox but it jumped of the table and ran off.
"I guess he didn't want to be friends." Boruto said as he went to ask for a new bowl of ramen.
Today just didn't seem to be Boruto's day. As his second bowl arrived he slowly began to eat it, savoring it's taste. In the middle of eating he felt someone push into hi spilling his ramen onto the floor. Boruto looked to see a hooded man run off after pushing a girl into Boruto. He cursed at the man as he helped the girl to her feet.
"Are you all right?" Boruto asked.
"I-I'm f-fine." She replied in a shy, but cute voice.
"That's go-" Boruto stopped mid sentence as he looked closer at the girl in front of him. She looked to be his age with long white hair and ruby red eyes that almost made his heart jump out of his chest. Looking closer he noticed more features that made the girl look even more beautiful then when he had first laid his eyes on her which was only seconds ago. To him she looked like a goddess and he had meet one, but Nona wasn't even close to being as beautiful as this girl in Boruto's opinion. If he could choose one world to describe her it would be 'perfect'.
"T-thank y-y-you for helping me u-up." She stuttered which Boruto found adorable.
"Don't mention it." Boruto said. "It was rude of that guy to bump into you and not apologize. How about I get you some ramen miss...?"
"Hisoka," She said. "I'm Hisoka Jitsuko a-and you d-d-don't need to buy me r-ramen."
"Hello Hisoka," Boruto said. "I'm Boruto Uzumaki and I know I don't have to buy you ramen, but I want to."
Boruto offered her a seat and she took it. Her face became red as the boy she had been trying so hard to get to notice her finally did. When Boruto wasn't looking she looked to were the hooded man that had hit her was standing. He was in a dark alley watching them giving her a thumbs up. She turned back to Boruto before he noticed who she was looking at, and they enjoyed their ramen.
The man in the hood watched them for a minute before leaving. He removed his hood to show Hayato face with a huge grin. As he walked a falcon flew down and landed on his shoulders.
"Why did you do it?" Yoko, Hayato's spirit animal, asked as she landed on his shoulders.
"Hisoka fell in love with Boruto after they first meet two weeks ago." Hayato said. "We were friends along time so I helped her get closer to him."
"How did they meet?" Yoko asked stretching her wings.
"Two weeks ago Hisoka was captured by bandits." Hayato said. "Boruto went after them before they could sell her to one of the other kingdoms as a bargaining chip. At the time he only knew her to be the daughter of a noble."
"Your hoping they become more then friends?" Yoko asked.
"I do." Hayato said as he walked into his palace. "It will help them both to have each other for support."
Yoko nodded and took flight as the conversation was now over. Hayato guessed Boruto and Hisoka were getting along sense Boruto didn't return to the palace until well past sunset. He was happy he could help his friends. Boruto who was home sick would now think about Hisako as were Hisako finally got to be closer to Boruto. All in all it had been a good day in his mind.
