(Kasumi's outfit for the party)

  It's only one week until Christmas and every one in the village was getting ready. Even the ninja academy is throwing a big Christmas party for the students and teachers. "I'm so excited for the Christmas party it's gonna be so much fun." Kasumi said with her eyes sparkling with excitement as she walks with Sarada and Cho Cho to the market for Christmas presents. "I know the academy never throws a party especially on Christmas." Sarada agreed. "And all the food at the party will be amazing." Cho Cho said as she imagines the food that will be served at the party.

  "Okay now I just need to get something for Mitsuki, Inojin and Shikadai." Kasumi muttered to herself thinking about what to get them for the Christmas present exchange for the party. "Hey Kasumi are you gonna give anything to your boyfriend?" Ch Cho asked with a smug grin on her face. Kasumi turned to the overweight ninja with her face blushing like a tomato. "W-What are you talking about Cho Cho you now every well that I don't have a b-boyfriend!" Kasumi yelled as her blush darkened when she said the last part. "Oh our sweethearted Kasumi is growing up so fast. She is finally experiencing the first hand of love. You better make sure you don't go to fast with Inojin." Cho Cho taunting Kasumi as her face looked like she was about to explode with embarrassment. "W-What are you t-talking about Cho Cho?!" Kasumi stutter while Cho Cho was laughing out loud.

  "Yes what are you talking about Cho Cho?" Sarada asked with a strange face. Kasumi looked at her friend in hope of rescuing her from anymore embarrassment.  "Kasumi's in love with Mitsuki not Inojin." Sarada said readjusting her glasses. Kasumi face once again exploded with embarrassment. "Sarada I think you're getting confused here its obvious that Inojin and Kasumi are meant for each other. I mean they've been friends ever since childhood." Cho Cho said while giving Sarada a glare. "That maybe true Cho Cho but Mitsuki and Kasumi are perfect for each other. The both of them are strong and intelligent. Also Mitsuki has already taken Kasumi out on a date." Sarada said in a threatening manner. Kasumi who forgot about her embarrassment looked at her two friends who were giving a bloodlust aura around themselves and glares at each other. 

"Umm-" Kasumi was about to say something until she felt an arm snaked around her shoulder. "Hey, Kasumi I will give you my best deck of Shinobi Bout if you tell me what you got me for Christmas." And it turns out to be Boruto. "Now Boruto-nii you know better than to ask what I got you for Christmas. You just have to wait until Christmas Boruto-nii." Kasumi said trying to not look at her brother's puppy eyes. "Please Kasumi I'll be your favorite brother ever." Boruto said. "Your already are Boruto-nii." Kasumi said with a sweat drop.

After dealing with Boruto's constant asking for what his sister got him for Christmas and to be the peacemaker of the fight between Sarada and Cho Cho Kasumi was eshasted. Kasumi was used to her twin brother asking her about this because his been doing this ever since she could remember. It became a problem when Boruto tried sneaking a peek into the presents when they were 6 years old. So now she has to hide Boruto's presents until Christmas. 'I wonder what got Sarada and Cho Cho all mad about?' Kasumi wondered as she looked out of her window to see the night sky. 'Maybe Kubi-San would know something about this.' Kasumi thought then she went to bed to hopefully meet Kubi in her dreams.

"Ahaha! My child you are adorable as you are gullible." Kubi (The Mother of all tail beasts) said while laughing. "Kubi-San this isn't funny." Kasumi said with a pout on her face. "But Kasumi this isn't just about your friends argument that concerns you is it. Your more worried about the topic aren't you?" Kubi asked. Kasumi who now looked at the giant white fox in shocked then turned red and looked away. "I-it's just that I don't know how to deal with these feelings I for him. My friends are all saying that he likes me too but how can I be so sure?" Kasumi asked.

    "My child of all the time I've been sealed inside of you I know how your feeling but to these things you just have to wait until you feel it's time to tell him how you feel about him." Kubi said giving Kasumi a gentle pat on the head with her big paw. "Your right Kubi-San I will do that." Kasumi said with a warm smile. As Kasumi was about to walk away she turned to the white fox with a smile "Merry Christmas Kubi-San." Kasumi said to the white fox. "Yes and a Merry Christmas to you as well Kasumi." Kubi said to the Uzumaki girl with a smile.

  "Boruto-nii what are you doing under my bed?" Kasumi asked to the Uzumaki who looked like he was still trying to find something that his sister had hidden. "Ahhh, nothing." Boruto said trying to sound innocent but really he was as guilty as sin. "You were trying to find your presents again weren't you?" Kasumi said as non threatening as she can. "No I wasn't! I was trying to find my...present for the party but it's not in here so I'll just go look somewhere else bye." Boruto said before running out of the room.

As soon as Boruto was gone Kasumi let out huff of air. Kasumi closed the door and started changing into the santa dress her mother got her for the party. She also clipped a bell accessory on her hair. As soon as she was finished she and her brother Boruto went to the academy to help set it up.

Kasumi was assigned to help decorate the tree with Sarada, Cho Cho and Sumire. "I'm telling you Sarada it's Kasumi and Inojin!" Cho Cho yelled putting up a dango ornament. "And I'm telling you it's Mitsuki and Kasumi!" Sarada yelled while putting up a red ornament. "What have they are arguing about Kasumi-San?" Sumire asked as she was hanging up a purple ornament to the tree. "They've been having this argument since yesterday and I don't know what it's about?" Kasumi said as she hanged up a fox ornament on the tree.

"Alright then let's settle this once and for all!" Cho Cho yelled which caused everyone in the classroom to look at the girls. "A battle of ships! If we can get every one to agree with which guy Kasumi should be with then they win!" Cho Cho declared which made everyone peek their interest but Boruto was about to go and stop this battle from when almost every girl in the classroom blocked his path listening to the arrangements for the battle.

"And what will be the punishment for the loser?" Sarada said with interest. "Then the loser will have to be humiliated infront of the whole academy!" Cho Cho yelled. "I except your challenge Cho Cho may the best ship win." Sarada said with a smirk and her hand out of Cho Cho the shake. They both shakes on it and went to the girls for teams. There was and even number of girls on both teams. "Um, everyone-" "Alright ladies onwards for Kasuno" Cho Cho yelled which made her group cheer in response. "Not if the Mitsumi won't have anything to do about it!" Sarada yells at Cho Cho's group. The two teams then started running out of the doors leaving Kasumi and some of the boys in the room. "Well this will be an interesting Christmas party." Boruto said. "This isn't funny Boruto-nii" Kasumi yelled at him with red cheeks. "Don't worry about it Kasumi it'll just be a faze." Boruto said while patting his sister on the back. 'Than why do I get the feeling that it's not just a faze.' Kasumi thought to herself.

     "Sarada you might as well give up and admit it right now. That Inojin and Kasumi are soulmates!" Cho Cho yelled with a crowd of girls holding up signs that had K+I or Kasuno 4 ever on them. "Your delusional Cho Cho Kasumi deserves a strong Shinobi like Mitsuki!" Sarada yelled with a large crowd behind her with signs saying Mitsumi or M+K on them. "Just a faze? Boruto-nii!" Kasumi looked at her twin to see him still trying to peek at the presents. 'That's it this has gone too far. It's Christmas time not war!' Kasumi thought. Then Kasumi stomped over to her brother and pulled him by the ear and started walking out of the classroom to the crowd of girls that are outside of the academy.

  Kasumi walked over to the center of the chaos and took a deep breath. "STOP!!!" Kasumi yelled at the top of her lungs so that everyone could stop fighting and listen. Everyone was shocked when they suddenly heard the Uzumaki girl shouting. "It's Christmas. The time to be with friends and family and share joy. Not the time of wars, look I'm not ready for any type of relationship with Inojin or Mitsuki. I'm flattered that you are thinking about me but I'm just not ready for that yet. So let's just forget about this nonsense and enjoy the time we have together like we should." Kasumi said as Sarada and Cho Cho walked out of the crowd towards each other. "She's right that type of stuff she'll figure out." Cho Cho said. "It's Christmas we shouldn't be fighting so..." "I'm sorry." Sarada and Cho Cho said at the same time. The three girls then laughed and hugged it out thus ended the shipping war.

After sorting out the mess from the Shipping war the class finally got ready for the party. Cho Cho and Sarada both apologized for causing Kasumi so much trouble but Kasumi forgave them in a blink of an eye. As for Boruto he got a major scolding from Kasumi for trying to take a peek at his present. "Everyone it's time for the present exchange." Shino said to the whole class. Every one shouted in excitement, and started running around giving their gifts to their friends. "Okay Boruto-nii I know you've been waiting for this so here. Merry Christmas Boruto-nii." Kasumi said giving Boruto one of her gifts she's been hiding from him. "Thanks Kasumi. Here I know you told me not the give you anything but you know that won't let that happen." Boruto said he handed her a gift of his own.

The twins opened their Christmas gifts at the same time to reveal a brand new game console for Boruto and a special kunia

for Kasumi. Kasumi's eyes lite up then gave Boruto a big hug. "Thankyou Boruto-nii it's beautiful where did you get this?" Kasumi asked looking at the Kunia. "Let's just say I had a little bit of help getting that." Boruto said as he glazed at the Uchia girl. "Still I love it. Thankyou Boruto-nii" Kasumi said with a sweet smile. "Aww, stop it Kasumi your making me blush." Boruto said with a little pink on his cheeks.Kasumi giggled as she pulled her brother into a hug.

After the gift exchange everyone was having a great Christmas party. Even Inojin got a kiss on the cheek when Kasumi saw him under the mistletoe. Inojin almost fainted of embarrassment with his face as red as an apple. As the party finally ended Kasumi was the only one who stayed behind to clean up the mess. Kasumi who was singing a Christmas song

as she was cleaning up the classroom. "You have such a beautiful voice Bishojo." Kasumi turned to see Mitsuki behind her with a warm smile. Kasumi's face lite up like a Christmas tree then quickly turned her gaze away towards the ground. "M-Mitsuki I didnt know you were there. Did you have a a good good time at the time?" Kasumi asked with a huge blush on her cheeks. "Yes I did but I'm a bit sad that I never received my Christmas present from you Bishojo." Mitsuki said with a small pout.

"What are you talking about Mitsuki I gave you a new set of kunia knifes and you said you liked them." Kasumi said in a question tone. "That's not what I'm talking about.Look what's over our heads Bishojo." Mitsuki said. When Kasumi looked up her who face started to heated up seeing a mistletoe in one of Mitsuki's hands over her head. Kasumi turned to Mitsuki with a flustered face to see him leaning down towards her face. Kasumi who tried to back up but failed miserably because Mitsuki had an arm wrapped around her waist. Suddenly she felt Mitsuki's lips on her's and she didn't try to break the kiss or push him away.

She was shocked but it felt as if her lips like it belong to the kiss. It was a soft and gentle kiss but it was enough to make her head spin and heart pound.

"Merry Christmas Kasumi." Mitsuki said with a warm smile with a faint pink blush on his cheeks. Kasumi looked up at Mitsuki and gave him a loving smile

"Merry Christmas Mitsuki." Kasumi said before giving the white haired boy another kiss which he gladly accepted. This was definitely a Christmas to remember for Kasumi Uzumaki.
