Kasumi walked up the stairs towards her brother's bedroom. As she was about to turn the knob she suddenly looked at the door of her fathers study room to see that it was open. She quietly walked into the study room to see her brother Boruto looking at a orange jacket that looked liked her own but it was tattered and dirty. "It's so dirty and it's torn to shreds. Why would Kasumi even like this style anyway?" Boruto muttered looking at the jacket in his hand.

Boruto then turned his gaze at a photo of the original team seven. Young Sasuke was on the left and Naruto was on the right side and were looking away from each other with disgust. While young Sakura was in the middle of the two boys with a smile on her face. And Kakashi was behind the trio with both his hands on the boys heads and was smiling in the picture even with his 3/4 of his face covered with a mask. Boruto mainly had his gaze on Naruto and remembered what his mother had just said to him earlier. 'But nonetheless, it's different with you. You still have a father who's actually here.'

Boruto suddenly threw the jacket out of an open window of the room. "This is so uncool!" Boruto yelled out loud. "Boruto-nii..." Kasumi said softly but still loud enough for Boruto to hear her. Boruto turned to see his twin sister at the door with a sad expression on her face. "Kasumi listen I'm sorry it's just that I can't stand seeing that stupid old man always ignoring mom, Himawari and you all the time." Boruto said having trouble looking at his sister in the eyes. He suddenly felt a pair of slender arms wrapped around his shoulders. He looked up to see his sister who was giving he a hug and her eyes felt like tears were threatening to spill out.

"It's alright Boruto-nii I understand what you're feeling right now but don't try to hide it especially from me." Kasumi said looking at her brother with her cheeks standed with tears and had a smile on her face. "Kasumi..." Boruto said looking at his sister who was now wiping away the tears with the sleeve of her jacket. Suddenly heard the door bell ring "is that?" Boruto muttered then gave an angry look at the door. Boruto ran out of the room and Kasumi ran right after him " So now he shows up!" Boruto yelled running down the stairs. Boruto opened the front door and tried to punch the person on the other side of the door. But his fist caullied with a hand which belonged to the one and only Sasuke Uchiha.

Once Kasumi saw Sasuke she smiled brightly to seeing her uncle again. "I'm sorry I uh, thought that you were my dad." Boruto said stepping back for Sasuke to come inside. "Your Naruto's son. But you look just like Kasumi." Sasuke said. Kasumi stepped out of the dark and stand right next to Boruto. "That's because Boruto-nii and I are twins Uncle Sasuke." Kasumi said with a smile. Sasuke looked at the twins seeing that there identitical to each other. His gaze went to Kasumi's forehead to see the leaf ninja head band. "So I see you finally became a shinobi Kasumi." Sasuke said to the Uzumaki girl who was blushing with embarrassment and scratching the back of her head. "Have you learned how to preform the Rasengan yet?" Sasuke asked.

Kasumi then looked down in shame for she hasn't been able to learn the Rasengan because of how busy she was and that she wanted to learn how to do it with her brother. "I see well just remember our deal Kasumi I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to do it soon." Sasuke said which made Kasumi looked up and smiled. The lights were turned on suddenly when Hinata walking into the hallway towards the twins. "Is it really-? Sasuke." Hinata said in joy to see Naruto old friend again. "Is Naruto here?" Sasuke asked. "I think he's still at the Hokage's Office." Hinata said while Boruto was looking at Sasuke with admiration in his eyes. "I see sorry to bother you. I'll see you soon Kasumi." Sasuke said before leaving the Uzumaki family to see Naruto at the Hokage office.

"Hey Kasumi, how did you meet Uncle Sasuke and what did he mean about a deal?" Boruto asked his sister. Kasumi just realized that she never told Boruto about how she met Sasuke when she went on a journey with Naruto, Sarada and Cho Cho. She didn't tell Boruto about that journey because she knew that Boruto would have a fit of jealousy about it for they were still students at the academy. "Uh, Daddy introduced me to Uncle Sasuke and the deal me and Uncle Sasuke was that if I learned the Rasengan then he would take me in as his student." Kasumi said to Boruto who had a dumbfounded expression on his face. "What why didn't you tell me Kasumi!" Boruto yelled while Kasumi only giggled at the ridiculous face her brother was making.

Once Sasuke finally reached the Hokage's office he threw a purple scroll at Naruto who was behind the desk. Naruto caught the scroll "What's this?" Naruto asked examining the scroll in his hand. "A gift from Kaguya's palace." Sasuke said entering the office. "Sasuke." Naruto said in shocked to see his friend again.

Naruto unwrap the the scroll to show ancient writing. "I'm getting a bad feeling about this. I can't even read it with my Rinnegan. There was also a guy that worries me. But he didn't follow me back." Sasuke said. "Guess I'm not going home." Naruto said getting up from his chair. "Now let's figure out what this scroll says." Naruto said. "Oh also..." Sasuke trailed taking out the old jacket Boruto threw out. "Why do you have that?" Naruto asked taking his old jacket back from Sasuke. "I found it on the way here." Sasuke said as he remembered seeing the jacket on the ground outside after he met the Uzumaki twins.

"I see." Naruto said looking at the jacket disheartened. "I also met your son and I saw Kasumi again. He and Kasumi are like both halfs of when you were young." Sasuke said. "No your wrong, they're nothing like I was. Boruto a lot like you when you were young and Kasumi she's like Hinata." Naruto said. "No... I take it back. They're different from you and Hinata too. Boruto's clothing always looks brand new and Kasumi always has that spark that lights up the room. I guess you and I are just behind on the times, huh?" Naruto said looking at Sasuke. "Your wrong you know. The soul of a shinobi never changes, that goes for your kids too." Sasuke said. Naruto looked at him then chuckled "I doubt that, trust me I think the winner of this contest is me." Naruto said before Sasuke smiled and chuckled at him. "Your one to talk loser." Sasuke. Naruto smiled.

Sasuke was walking down the street when suddenly the trash can that Sasuke passed by puffed into smoke. Which revealed one of Boruto's shadow clones that his ninja head band on. Boruto tried to hit Sasuke on the head but Sasuke vanished into thin air. Boruto's shadow clone puffed away before Boruto came out of his hiding place. "He vanished." Boruto said. Suddenly Sasuke appeared behind Boruto and knocked him to the ground with a sidekick to the legs. Boruto got back up again looking at Sasuke with admiration in his eyes. "Your Amazing!" Boruto said as he was dusting himself off. "You used to be Dad's rival, didn't you?" Boruto asked walking up towards Sasuke. "I get it now, looks brand new." Sasuke muttered as he looked at Boruto's attire. " Please make me your student along with Kasumi. There's someone I have to bring down and another I have to protect." Boruto said with determination. Sasuke looks at Boruto with a hint of shock remembering the first time he met Kasumi she had that same look. "Can you proform the Rasengan?" Sasuke asked the Uzumaki boy who had his head down with a frown on his face.

"Without that you can't be a student of mine." Sasuke said before walking away from the Uzumaki. Boruto's discouraged eyes turned to firey determined "That'll be a piece of cake!" Boruto declared at Sasuke who was still walking away. 'Naruto, that earlier contest isn't decided yet.'.

"Kasumi...Kasumi....KASUMI!" Boruto yelled at his twin sister who was sleeping peacefully, until she hear Boruto yelling. "*yawn*...Boruto-nii its the middle of the night why are you waking me up." Kasumi said still in a daze while rubbing her right eye. "Come on Kasumi it's time we started learning the Rasengan." Boruto said shoving Kasumi's regular ninja clothes in her face. Kasumi finally snapped out of her sleepy daze and looked at her twin with confusion. "Boruto-nii I didn't know you wanted to learn the rasengan too." Kasumi said while her brother was tied her hair in its usual pig tails.

"Well we have to learn it or we'll never become Uncle Sasuke's students." Boruto said before turning to a cover of the room so that Kasumi can change into her clothes. "Wait a minute you mean Uncle Sasuke wants the both of us to be his students?" Kasumi asked while changing out of her fox printed PJs and into her white shirt and orange shorts. "Well of course who wouldn't want to have me as their student." Boruto boasted while Kasumi just sweat drop at her brothers proudly form. But she knew that there was something more to it than his boasting but, she didn't press on to it. "Also we're a package deal, if someone wants one of us then they better have both of the Uzumaki twins." Boruto turned to his sister with his usual smirk. Kasumi looked at boruto with awed and remembered the promise they made together at the academy.

How they promise to always stay by each others side through thick and thin no matter what, Kasumi smiled at her brother for remembering their promise. "Yeah no one can break the Uzumaki twins." Kasumi said before getting her orange jacket on and walked out of the room with her brother. Starting the next step on the path of getting stronger together but, without knowing the growing danger that will approach the Village soon.
