As soon as Konohamuro finished fixing the damage of the house team 7 finally went to the Hokage's office. "Hi Daddy!" Kasumi said before giving her father Naruto Uzumaki a hug. "Hi Kasumi and team seven." Naruto said looking at the group. Kasumi glazed over to her brother to see that he had a blank look but Kasumi knew what her brother was feeling. Kasumi soon let's go of her father and run over next to her twin brother. Naruto then turns to tv on his desktop off and turned to the team. "Hey Dad we're not talking to some shadow clone now right?" Boruto asked.

No of course not it's the Hokage's office and, by the way don't call me 'Dad' or 'Daddy' in here. It's Lord Hokage or Lord Seventh." Naruto said to the twins. "So? How did it go?" Naruto asked. "What do you think? That mission was way easy! I mean Kasumi and I could've done it by ourselves." Boruto said in a cocky way before putting an arm around Kasumi's shoulder. "What's important for a shinobi is teamwork and perseverance. You have to train as a team and-" "I didn't have to train to be able to make three shadow clones of myself." Boruto cut Naruto off and boasted.

  "I know wind style, lighting style and now water style! Kasumi has been training herself a lot she knows fire style, earth style and wood style now." Boruto said while Kasumi had a faint blush on her cheeks and scratches the back of her head. "Konohamaru! What have you been teaching him." Naruto said in disappointment. Konohamaru looked away and scratched his head shyly "Don't blame our sensei just cause you don't know anything about us all right. You've never bother to even watch us!" Boruto said in irritated manner.

Kasumi worriedly looked at her father and brother who were giving each other a stern look. "Never mind." Boruto said after he sighed and looked away. Kasumi knows why her brother was feeling this way towards their father but still she felt like it was going to hurt Boruto in the end if this continues. "Look what's important is-" "Forget that! What's really important now is what day it is! Do you even know why?" Boruto yelled at Naruto. "If you forgot Kasumi's and my kid sister's birthday I'll never forgive you!" Boruto threatened Naruto who was shocked to see his son saying that to him. Kasumi looked at her brother with a sad expression on her face and tried to take Boruto's hand "Boruto-nii-" "I'm sorry Kasumi but there's nothing you can do to make me change my mind!" Boruto yelled and swatted her hand away which made Kasumi feel hurt of what her twin brother just did. Boruto instantly regretted throwing away Kasumi's kindness like that and yelling at her.

Boruto was about to apologize to his sister but was cut off by a semi chubby man wearing glasses and a leaf ninja scientist coat. "Excuse me sir?" The man said as everyone in the room looked at him in confusion of why he's in the room."Katasuke?" Naruto said in surprise. "As the head of the Scientific Ninja Tool Team I have a request to make, Lord Seventh." Katasuke said as he walks into the room. "What is it?" Naruto asked. "For the upcoming Chunin Exams, we'd like your authorization to use the ninja tool our team made. Then the genin won't have to go through such harsh training and they'd have more ninjutsu to use! Their performance would be more elaborate as well! And if we market these ninja tools to the other villages, the income will benefit the Hidden Leaf Village." Katasuke explained. "No way!" Naruto said with a hint of irritation.

"The Chunin Exams are not a 'performance',Their purpose is to nurture shinobi." Naruto said to the scientific Ninja. Katasuke slowly bows to Naruto and turns to the door. Before he went out of the room the Scientific Ninja turns to the Uzumaki twins and smiled at them. Boruto knew what that smile meant so he smiled back in an agreeable manner while Kasumi was a small smile and waved goodbye to the man. As soon as Katasuke left the room Boruto looked at Naruto with a glare "This isn't the lame era you grew up in Dad!" Boruto yelled before running out the room. Kasumi who was about to follow her brother was stopped by a hand gripping on her arm. Kasumi turned to see that it was her father holding the Uzumaki girl back. "He needs to be able to figure things out Kasumi." Naruto said looking at his daughter with a calm expression.

Kasumi sighed in defeat allow her father's words sink in. "Kasumi-chan can I ask a favor of you?" Konohamaru asked. "What is it Big Brother Konohamaru?" Kasumi asked. "I was going to give Boruto the Chunin Exam Application but I don't know where he ran off so can you give it to him please." Konohamaru asked handing out two slips of the applications. "What's the second one for Big Brother Konohamaru?" Kasumi asked accepting the applications from Konohamaru. "Well the second one is for you Kasumi-chan." Konohamaru said with joy. Kasumi on the other hand was having mixed feelings mostly she was feeling shocked and happy at the same time. "D-Do you really think I have what it takes for the Chunin Exams?" Kasumi asking everyone in the room. "Of course you have what it takes Kasumi you were the top student back in the academy." Sarada said with a smirk. Kasumi then felt an arm snaked around her waist she looked up to she Mitsuki with a a warm smile"And you are strong willed, you can do anything Bishojo. Just believe in yourself, I know that I believe in you." Mitsuki said with a loving smile.

Kasumi felt her heart was beating faster and her face warming up. "Y-Yeah I'll do it!" Kasumi stuttered while everyone in the room had a different expression on their face Sarada like little she was about to squeal at the two love birds. Konohamaru had a huge grin on his face while Naruto looked like he was about to kill. "Well if you don't have anything else to inform me you can go now!" Naruto said in a huff. "O-Okay let's go Sarada and Mitsuki we need to give this to Boruto-nii!" Kasumi said getting out of Mitsuki's embrace. Right before Kasumi was about to walk out of the door she turns to her father with a pleading look on her face "Please don't forget about tonight Daddy okay." Kasumi said. Naruto only gave her a slight nod before she left the room with her friends to go look for her brother Boruto.

After walking around the village team 7 finally found Boruto at the burger place the twins go to. Kasumi saw Shikadai, Inojin and Boruto sitting at a booth while playing video games. "So you're an expert at video games too,huh?" Mitsuki asking handing Boruto's application. Boruto just looked at the application with no interest then turned back to his game. "Look, what do you want, Mitsuki? I already said I'm not interested." Boruto said not looking at his team. "Big Brother Konohamaru asked me to give this to you Boruto-nii, Sarada and Mitsuki tagged along to help me find you." Kasumi explained. "Yeah, we need the whole team to enter the Chunin Exams. If you don't apply then we can't." Mitsuki said. "Yeah so what?" Boruto said. Sarada was getting annoyed with Boruto's adituted, she walked passed Kasumi and Mitsuki to grab the collar of Boruto's black jacket. "Look my dream is to become the Hokage. Are you going to destroy my dream?!" Sarada asked.

  "Becoming Hokage...doesn't interest me at all!" Boruto shouted. Boruto looked at his sister and seeing her looked like she was hurt made Boruto feel guilty. "Being Hokage isn't Hereditary!" Sarada yelled at Boruto. "Fine then you can be the Hokage for all I care. Ruin your family too. The Hokage is just a nuisance to everyone." Boruto said. "Boruto-nii!" Kasumi shouted as she slammed her fist on the table which made a big crack and caused everyone to jump. Boruto looked at his twin sister and felt like a Kunia just stabbed his heart. Kasumi had a disappointed look on her face while tears running down her face. Kasumi then ran out of the burger place and ignoring the calls of her friends and brother.

Kasumi kept on running until someone slammed her on the ground and it was none other than Boruto. Kasumi pushed Boruto away and tried to run but a hand on her arm "Kasumi I'm sorry!" Boruto yelled. "Didn't mean what I said in he office and I'm sorry about earlier I didn't think about what I said or how it would affect you." Boruto apologized. Kasumi looks at her brother to see that there was guilt and sadness in his eyes. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves and wipe away the tears on her cheeks. "It's okay Boruto-nii, I'm fine now. And I'm sorry for taking off like that, I couldn't take it. I hate it whenever you and Daddy fight and then you would insult him." Kasumi confessed. Boruto looked at his sister was a sad look he was feeling terrible for making his sister cry."And I also hate that you would try to hide your feelings like that and, don't try to say that you don't Boruto-nii I can tell theses things I'm your twin sister! So whenever you want to talk about it tell don't hide it from me okay." Kasumi said to Boruto. Boruto looked at his sister for a minute then nodded to Kasumi.

After the twins apologized for their actions they were walking around the village to get presents for their little sister. "Hey Kasumi!" Kasumi turned around to see her Sarada and Mitsuki running towards them. "Are you okay Kasumi? Want me to beat Boruto for you?" Sarada asked the Uzumaki girl. "No, No Sarada. I'm fine Boruto-nii already apologized so you don't have to do that." Kasumi said. "Well okay but if he goes and make you cry I'll beat him senseless." Sarada said threatening Boruto.

"By the way Boruto-nii I wanted to ask if you would go to the Chunin Exams with us? I know your not interested but we can get stronger and show Daddy what we're made of. So what do you think Boruto-nii?" Kasumi asked. Boruto looked at his sister to see there was determination in them. He suddenly remembered his conversation with the Scientific Ninja saying his father would be able to see him and his sister. "Ahh, okay Kasumi I'll go through with it but only cause you asked." Boruto said which made Kasumi jump for joy. "Oh, Sarada that reminds me is Uncle Sasuke gonna come and watch you?" Kasumi asked walking to a bench with her brother.

"Who cares?! He couldn't even become Hokage." Sarada said joining the Uzumaki twins on the bench. "Your wrong about him. My dad used to say that Uncle Sasuke is the other Hokage." Boruto said to Sarada. "Oh please! His just being nice!" Sarada said. "Sasuke is the only Shinobi who can rival the Seventh Hokage. That's what my parent said and my parent's even more awesome than both of your dads." Mitsuki told the trio on the bench. "Come to think of it, you never told us who your parents are Mitsuki." Kasumi said to the white haired boy while Boruto and Sarada nodded their heads together agreeing to the Uzumaki girl.

"Huh, I could've sworn I told it to you guys. Well if you must know he-" "Big Brother! Big Sister!" Mitsuki was cut off by the youngest Uzumaki child Himawari with their mother Hinata who was carrying groceries in her hands. "It's my birthday today! So hurry up! Let's go home!" Himawari said waving her hand to the twins. The twins smiled brightly at their little sister who seemed very excited. "Sure!" The twins replied with a closed smile. "Sorry but we got to go." Boruto said grabbing Kasumi's hand and walk towards their family.

Boruto and Kasumi helped their mother carry the groceries to their house. Once the Uzumakis finally got to their house they were greeted by Naruto himself. The two Uzumaki girls gasped to see their father home and on a special occasion. "So you actually made it." Boruto said blankly. But Kasumi knew that Boruto was feeling very happy that their father made it for Himawari and she was happy too.

The whole family started making the preparations for the birthday party. Once they were finished Hinata, Boruto and Kasumi started to sing the birthday song that hasn't changed since the twins were born. "~Oh,Happy Birthday on your special day. That you are very Precious, is what we want to say! And congratulations sent your way! So Happy Birthday!~" as soon as they stopped singing Naruto suddenly puffed into smoke and dropped the cake that was in his hands. Himawari looked away from the ground disheartened that it was a shadow clone. "A shadow clone." Boruto said in a disappointing tone. Kasumi also felt heartbroken and disappointed that her father didn't come to their little sister's party.

Boruto shot out of his seat and started walking out the door until Hinata stopped him by grabbing his arm. "Just let me go Mom!" Boruto said in anger. "Your father has to work very hard for the people of the village. But that doesn't mean that he's forgotten you three." Hinata said to her raging son. "But why?! Why does my dad have to be the Hokage?! He just sits at his desk all, day acting bossy! Anyone can do that!" Boruto yelled. Kasumi walked over to her mother and brother with a concern look on her face. "Being Hokage is a difficult job. It's a duty crucial to the villages survival, passed down through generations!" Hinata said to Boruto but that made him even more angry.

  "And the Hokage's kids are supposed to be grateful for being born into this stupid situation, this that it?! Oh, yeah I know our Grandpa was also Hokage. And when Dad was a kid, Grandpa wasn't even alive! So I guess Dad's just lucky that he never experienced the joy of having a parent around." Boruto said in so much spite. "Boruto-nii..." Kasumi muttered. "I understand...it's hard not having your father around on important days. But nonetheless, it's different with you. You still have a father who's actually here." Hinata said. Boruto looked at his mother just before he ran off. Kasumi looked at the spot her brother was at then decided to follow. "Kasumi...please help your brother. Let him know that he's not alone." Hinata said while hugging Himawari. "I will Okaa-san." Kasumi said with a sad smile before running after her brother.
