Once the pair entered the palace they headed to the lab where the royal scientist resided. The scientist name was Hazel, as she represented facts and was very intelligent. As per usual the analyst was waiting for them at the entry way. Her raven black hair was held back by a sunflower  headband, her emerald green eyes are hidden behind a pair of black glasses. 

"Good afternoon prince Roman, good afternoon Virgil."  She bowed as she greeted the duo, pushing her glasses up onto the bridge of nose as she rose.

"Hello Hazel, you don't need to be so formal is the device ready?" Roman asked, as Virgil waved to Hazel as he was now sitting on the prince's shoulder.

"Of course right this way." Hazel said, as she opened the door for them and led the way to where the device was being held.

Hazel lead them through various sections of the lab before reaching their destination, she removed a tarp which reveled the device. It was small so it could be transported easily, it had a silver base coat and cherry red swirl designs, the handle was the opposite cherry red coat with sliver swirls. Hazel lifted it from its stand and put it in a case along with the blueprints, and directions. Roman grabbed the case and went to the testing chamber, he placed Virgil down on a table while hazel set everything up. Once it was finished Hazel showed Roman how to use the device and how it works.

"It converts feet into inches, inches into centimeters and so on. Okay so if you press the dark red button then turn the dial to the right it will shrink objects. If you press that gray button and the dial to the left it will return the objects to their normal size or make the object larger. Feel free to test it out in here prince Roman." she bowed as she turned to leave the room to tend to her other experiments 

"Thank you, Hazel."

Roman gave it a few tests before putting back in its case and leaving the room to collect the borrower who was talking with Hazel about the chemistry set. Virgil was sitting in the palm of her hand as she showed him the beakers and what things did.

"Oh hey Roman!" Virgil said, when he looked in his direction moving to the edge to kick his feet.

"Hi Virgil ready to go?" Roman said, when he nodded Roman held out his hand which Virgil climbs on to and waves goodbye to Hazel "Bye Hazel have a good day."

"You too goodbye Roman, goodbye Virgil."

They left lab and headed towards the kitchen to get some lunch and some pastries for Virgil for when they get back. After thirty minutes the two headed for the Throne room, when they did a guard came up to them.

"Prince Roman ______ is here, he'd like to see you as well." He said, as he bowed. "Should I send them in?"

"Uhh...yeah send them in." Roman said as he let Virgil climb of his shoulders. "Okay Virgil what do you want to do?"
