"And Harmony will be the new leader!" announced a brown tabby male cat.

He stood on a rock in a crowd of other cheering cats. He had an orange tabby in his mouth, Harmony. He placed the orange tabby down beside another orange tabby, her sister. The two kittens stood silently as their father continued lecturing to the crowd. They were about two months old. Harmony stood there watching her father. She was happier than she had ever been. Harmony couldn't believe she would be the first female future leader. Meanwhile, her sister Agatha was really upset. Agatha had always dreamed of being a future leader. No matter how hard she tried to impress her parents she kept making mistakes and on top of that, Harmony was born before her. Agatha couldn't stop her tears. Harmony felt bad for her sister but pretended to not notice her crying or else she would look weird in front of the crowd as a future leader. The brown tabby cat was the leader of the cats in the forest. His name was Hark and his wife was a light yellow tabby having the name Samantha. Their kittens were Harmony and Agatha who were orange tabbies. Soon the meeting finished and Hark, his wife, and the two kittens headed to their den. They passed a couple of trees and came to their den which was decorated by vines and flowers indicating that it was the leader's family's den. Agatha, the lighter tabby tried to not show her tears. Her sister, on the other hand, skipped the whole way to their den humming to herself. The parents proudly followed their kids.

"Harmony, Agatha", started Samantha, "tomorrow you guys can play outside and explore but not for long, and then Harmony and your dad will go hunting. After all, Harmony will be the future leader so she has to practice hunting."

Harmony cheered in excitement with her sister Agatha. But after her mom told them about the hunting part, Agatha stopped and fell silent. Harmony was so glad for her first hunt and on top of that, with her dad, the leader.

It was another beautiful day at the Yellow Leaf Forest and the two sisters were outside playing near the waterfall.

Harmony knew her sister's state and how upset she had looked. "Agatha cheers up, did you think I would just rule the forest myself? Of course, I need like a deputy sidekick! And that will be you!" Harmony said with her eyes desperately waiting to see Agatha's reaction.

Agatha's eye's widened and her mouth opened and she started jumping up and down with an unsettling joy.

"I can't believe I never thought about that!" Agatha shouted with excitement.

"Not so soon, you have to jump the waterfall first!" laughed Harmony jokingly.

Agatha looked down.

"I think I can give it a try,'' she said.

Harmony was only joking though. Harmony also thought that Agatha was joking by saying she would jump down the waterfall. Agatha, on the other hand, thought Harmony was really telling her to jump. Agatha crouched ready to jump, all of this happening within seconds.

Harmony screamed, "STOP NOOOOO!" she yelled as she tried to stop Agatha from jumping.

Agatha looked back in shock, she stopped but it was too late. Harmony jumped to stop her sister but tripped over Agatha and Harmony herself fell into the gushing waters of the waterfall. Agatha screamed Harmony's name in horror as she watched desperately as her sister vanished into the mist of the waterfall. Agatha started shivering with shock, her fur fluffed up and she turned back to see her mother. Her mother was shocked, tears in her eyes. She looked as if she had just come to see the whole scene. Her mother snatched Agatha into her jaws without a word and ran down beside the waterfall searching for Harmony but there was no sign of her.

The search continued for many days and at last, they concluded that Harmony was dead and Agatha would be the new future leader...
