Days have been going by and Lucas has been more busy more often.

But each and every time Daphne and Mrs Ava were always here to keep me company.

"But why is he always busy" I asked Daphne as we prepared snacks for our movie sessions.

With Daphne and Mrs Ava help I have been walking around the house really well and thanks to them I've been doing good at my physical therapy.

"Well...urmm there's a big festival coming up soo as the King- I mean the person in charge he had to be there" she explains.

"Hm. Okay I guess" I sigh, I knew he had to be busy.

"Hey heyy, you don't need to be bummed out. I'm sure he misses you too"

Someone actually misses me, it actually feels nice.

I smile thinking about it. He misses me.
He's hardly around and when he comes back he looks so tired.

"I guess I just want him to be okay" I tell her, having a weird feeling bubble up inside me.

"Hmm" she nodded.

We basically spent the whole day together and did a lot of things to get my mind off the weird gloomy feeling I had.

It was about the middle of the day when it suddenly started getting dark.

I stared out the window confused and shocked, "hey wasn't the sun here a minute ago?" I asked to see Daphne standing behind me.

"Yeah it was." She says and goes to close the curtains.

"Are you okay?" I ask, her body visibly shaking.

"Y..yeah, just a bit tired" she smiles. "I... I'll go get a blanket, you look cold" I rushed to the room upstairs to get a warm blanket and when I came downstairs Daphne was gone.

Instead I heard a low howl coming from the back and saw the back door opened.

"Daphne?" I called, maybe she was playing with me and wanted me to find her.

"Daphne?" I raised the curtains to look out, it was all dark like the moon had covered the sun and also saw a large beast outside howling at the sky.

I gasped and tried to cover my mouth, but it heard me and turned to me, it had a look in it eyes that i could recognize.

"D.. Daphne?" I asked, she howled again and turned to me again walking casually to me.

"You're a wolf" I breath looking at her ash fur and silver eyes, then back at the sky.

"Is this why he meant by the moon festival?" I asked, she nodded her head.

She laid on the glass and suddenly her body was naked in front of me. I quickly grabbed the blanket I brought and covered her.

"Th...thanks" she breaths exhausted, struggling to stand up. I helped her and moved her to the living room.

Her eyes glowed then faded "Lucas...is...in trouble" she says tiredly.

I looked at her panicked "Daphne, are you okay? What do you mean?"

She holds my hand resting it on her chest "we're were wolves and Lucas and I have Alpha blood, which makes us a lot different than other wolves, our everything are higher than other, including our emotions" she explains hurriedly making me worry.

"The moon festival happens once in a hundred years and legend has that on one particular moon festival a miracle will happen but it hasn't happened yet. Lucas is the Alpha King and he's in charge of all the other alphas" she continued

"It took me a lot of will power to change back especially with my Alpha blood" she chuckles. "But it won't be easy for Lucas " her expression changes immediately.

"Wh...what do you mean?" I'm worrying now. With all these said what would happen to Lucas.

"His emotions were already unstable before you came and now he has you, being away from you is practically torture to him. We need to get to him" she tells me.

"What?"

"If you aren't there I don't think Lucas can hold back, the moon already boosts our emotions, any little thing that happens now, Lucas won't last"

"H...how do you know?"

"The link" she says, "as werewolves we have links that connect us together, and I can sense from it that Lucas is unstable" she holds my hand tighter and then her eyes glowed bright.

What's going on?

She let go of me, looking at me confused "how did you do that?" She asks me.

"Wh...what? Me? I didn't do anything" I answered also confused.

She looked aside for a bit and back at me "we'll talk about it later. We gotta get you some clothes"

"Huh?"

"You can't go meet your pack dressed in PJs can you?" She shouts as she races upstairs.

Where did she suddenly get the energy from? And what's a pack?

I followed her upstairs and saw her searching my wardrobe.

"Daphne what are you doing?"

"There should be something here that could work" she talks to herself completely ignoring me.

Why is this happening?

Lucas isn't okay?

That weird feeling bubbles up in me again, like something is about to happen.

"Adrian and Nate mind linked me, saying his choking Alpha Dolan and no one can stop him"

"Who are they?" I watched as she continued to look through my wardrobe.

"Oh them? They're really awesome you'll like them" she assured searching further in my wardrobe.

"Lucas practically sees everyone as a threat, that not even me can get to him... except you"

She brings out a hoodie and joggers "well this is all I could find, plus it has his scent on it, it'll make him notice you" then places the clothes on the bed

"Okay! Let's get dressed" she claps her hands

Few minutes later we're dressed and heading out the door. "Damnit" she frowned.

"What?" I asked confused and panicked, that annoying feeling popping up again.

"I forgot the keys, whatever, hop on" she urges. And I see her body visibly deforming and bringing out hair and tail and a snout into the ash wolf I saw before.

She shakes her fur to get my attention bending down for me, I nervously gulped down. No, I have to do this, Lucas needs my help.

I hopped on her and held tightly, she howled again and started running, I buried my face into her fur to hold on.

We got to a huge building and I stared at it in awe, Daphne took me inside through some kind of back door. She took me up the stairs and into a large beautiful room, then bent over for me to come down.

"That was fun" she laughed as she changed back and headed into a room then came out in a lovely dress.

"This is my room in the palace" she briefs.

"It's beautiful" I breathe.

"Thanks. But that's not what is important, it won't be long that the guards will notice my scent, so let's go" she directs me to another door.

We walk down the hall for like two minutes or longer then she suddenly stops.

"We are about to enter the main hall Iris and-"

"Daphne!" A male voice yells and I stand behind Daphne.

"Adrian!"

The male runs towards us and stops when he sees me, he had brown curly hair and also had brown eyes. "Adrian meets my brother's mate, Iris. She's pretty shy" Daphne introduced.

So this is the Adrian she told me about huh?

"Hi Iris" he waves then talked to Daphne "we need to get her down there, Lucas is livid right now, and we already have 2 alphas removed from their titles"

"Shit, and that's just him holding back" she then turns to me "we need you out there to help Lucas"

"You're our only hope"
