Iris' pov

Hello?

I opened my eyes slowly looking around but seeing nothing but darkness

Is anyone there?

Why is it so dark?

Am I dead?

Did Damian eventually kill me?

So in the end I ended up dead.

The end huh?

I closed my eyes back accepting my fate but before then I saw a bright light coming from somewhere, I have no idea why but I followed it.

Coming out of the dark the light seemed scourging and dangerous that I backed away scared of the light.

"Iris" I heard my name again "it's me..snow" I followed the voice and cautiously came out though the light was blinding. "Snow?" I whispered back.

"Welcome back Iris. You have been gone for a while"

I looked around confused, I had been gone? Where did I go to? "Am I dead?" I asked confused of what was happening.

There was silence before she spoke up "No, you're not. Instead you're...unconscious"

"Unconscious?" I repeated

"You passed out three weeks ago and since you had serious injuries it took a lot of energy to recover"

"Oh?" I thought "then where...am I?" I asked.

"You're in your mind" she told me. I thought for a moment, if I was unconscious does it mean that I was still at Damian's place?.

Then I'm not dead?

"Hi love"

I heard a weird sound but it wasn't snow or me, I had to look around to make sure I was not being played in my own mind.

I felt a weird tingly feeling run up my arm, the touch felt...warm. I could feel my heart speeding up.

But then it spoke again.

"When you wake up, I promise to take good care of you and make sure you live a happy life. One that you deserve"

I panicked, but I was curious, who was the voice? And why did it sound so...nice?

"Who is that?" I asked, waiting if the voice would speak again.

"That would be the person that saved us?"

"Huh?" Wait what? Saved us? "What do you mean?" I asked again. "Someone saved me?"

"Yes. I told you something was gonna happen that day"

This was a shock, I was actually saved? Wait that means Damian's gone? Which means... I'm free?

I feel tears drop down from my face, Damian's not here. I'm free. I'm actually free.

"Huh? Why are you crying? Please don't cry love" I heard the voice speak and I looked up. I was crying on the outside too?

I listen to the voice go on about why I shouldn't cry and then I felt that warm tingling feeling again on my body. I don't know why the feeling made me all weird inside like a funny feeling.

The tingling feeling continued but I didn't know how long it lasted, but I had always looked forward to hearing the voice again.

Time passed and sometimes the voice would talk to me, I never understood what it was saying but I liked hearing it voice, more times I would feel that weird tingling feeling. That way I knew it was the voice that was with me.

Sometimes there are other voices that I hear and they never talk like the voice I know talks.

I don't know what they always talk about but somehow I still feel it's related to me.

"Hi again love" when I heard that I knew it was the voice, it's here.

I heard some beeping sounds and then some small laughs "guess she can tell by your voice, Alpha"

Right, maybe its name is Alpha? Weird name.

"How you doing today love? You look a lot better don't you" I smiled, I still don't know why it always calls me that name love, but I don't mind I like it.

"Soon the moon festival will happen and there'll be a lot of people coming. It's been years since we last saw something like that" he continued to talk though I didn't understand anything, but I don't mind as long I hear his voice

"When will you wake up? It's been a month, love. I really want to meet you" the voice sounded hurt.

Then I felt the warm feeling on the cheek, giving me shivers again.

"I want to meet you too" I replied but I knew it wouldn't hear me. I really wanted to meet the voice too.

"You can" Snow talked. It's been awhile since we last talked. "I can?" I gasped "how?"

"You can wake up...all you have to do is focus on opening your eyes" snow explained. "But.. how?"

"Just imagine yourself opening your eyes on the outside. Try it"

I closed my eyes and tried opening them on the outside but it hurts so I couldn't do it.

But I didn't give up, I wanted to meet the voice so I will, eventually.

The time continue to pass and I was getting tired, the voice hadn't been around much, but I guess that's what it meant by busy.

I decided to rest since I was exhausted but when I opened my eyes I wasn't seeing white all around, it was all blurry.

I tried to look around but I couldn't, my body was so stiff. I managed to turn my head a little to look around though, my movements were limited.

Through the blurred vision I could tell I wasn't in the cell again, it was bright, my cell was dark and has no light at all.

I managed to raise my hand and saw there was a weird wire taped to it, I tried to remove it but couldn't since I couldn't move much.

My vision wasn't used to this much light, it was blinding. Just then I heard shuffling and I panicked thinking they were guards here as well.

"Let's get you checked up" I heard a...soft voice? I peeped through my closed eyes and saw a female. I hadn't seen a female for a long time, I was surprised, I mostly had males around me.

"A-are y-you a-a female?" I cracked my voice croaked. She looked at me shocked and taken aback.

"You're awake!" She looked at me scanning me up to toe.

I don't why but I felt my eyes blurry again and tears rolled down the side of my face. "Oh child please don't cry" she held me and looked at me, I raised my eyes slowly to meet hers, I hadn't ever raised my head to face anyone's eyes.

Her eyes looked pretty, they were brown and held... emotions, what I didn't have.

"Give me a second okay?" She faced away and I wondered if she was avoiding me, but she turned and smiled "he'll be here soon" she told me as if assuring me.

I just looked at her watching her movements making sure I wasn't dreaming but she kept on smiling at me.

"A-are y-you real?" I asked my voice hoarse.
She looked at me a look on her face and told me "of course I am. And I'm gonna help you sit up okay?"

She was real? It's not a dream? "O- okay" I shyly replied, she nodded and assisted me to sit up so it wouldn't hurt.

Now I was raised up, I could see my legs and the weird soft surface I was lying on. I took a look around the cel-

I mean the new place, looked different there was stuff in the room I hadn't seen before "Wh- where am I?" I turned to look at the woman checking some pieces of paper
"oh you're in the royal pack d-"

Then the door suddenly the opens and our attention turns to it. I felt my body freeze, it was a male, a large one at that, he even looked larger than Damian.

I bent my head down afraid to look him in the eye, but I heard the nice female speak "Alpha"

Wait he was the voice?

He was Alpha?
