Chapter I

The bitter cold stings my skin, and I use a little bit of magic to warm myself up. I hear childrens' voices in the distance, and start to jog lightly towards the sound. I see them and peek at them from behind a thick tree.

"I've been having lunch with dear Mr.Tumnus, and he is very well and the white witch has done nothing to him for letting me go..." Wait a minute, Tumnus switched sides?

I catch the girl trailing off and looking my way. I stop looking at her and her brother and hide behind the tree completely. But it's too late, she's already seen me.

"It's okay, we won't hurt you," the girl says. I step out, seeing that I don't have a choice. I look around and check to see if any of the trees on the white witch's side are watching. There are none out here. I pull off my hood and the girl gasps.

"But Mr.Tumnus said there were no other humans in Narnia."

"What you look like is not what makes you human," I respond.

"Oh, like the white witch! She's not human but she looks like it!" Shame washes over my face and she notices, giving me a look of sympathy. "Oh...you're one of her kind, aren't you?"

I nod. "But I'm on your side, in fact, I'm supposed to protect you from the white witch," I say.

"So you should know our names. This is Edmund," she points to her brother, "and I'm Lucy."

"My name is Udia," and then I realize that this is taking longer than I thought. "and you need to get home before you get caught." The two take off past the lamp post, and I start towards Tumnus's house.

When I get there, everything is a mess. Shattered picture frames are scattered across the floor, as well as teacups, the whole cave looked like it was torn apart by a natural disaster, except for a note. Tumnus had been caught.

When I get back to camp I report what happened, and they announce that they have news as well.

Aslan is coming back to Narnia
