*this is around the time ruby was born*

I open my eyes to see an unfamiliar room. I get up from the bed I was on and look around. I find a mirror, I look at it and see my reflection. I had long black hair, palish tan skin, and sliver eye and a grim eye. I look around again to see to black rubber bands and put my hair up in twin pig tails. I also put some bangs over my right eye (your grim eye) and continue to look around. I see a red shirt with long sleeves and white cuffs on the end. I also see white pants with red cuffs at the bottom. looking down, I see i'm in rags basically so I change into these clothes. once I was dressed I hear footsteps. I look at a big iron door that was behind me. it opens and I  see two men, and a woman in the doorway. "Looks like she's awake, my goddess." The crazy looking one with Scorpion tail said. "No dur," the taller more composed one said. "Indeed she is awake. Let's begin. Tyrian, if you will." The tall lady said. The guy with the scorpion tail nodded and then tried to attack me. key word try. I grabbed his tail with my bare hand and crushed it. He cried out in pain and hid behind the woman. "I'm impressed, I didn't think that you would do so well right after you woke up." the woman said. "Who are you and where am I. What am I?" I asked. "come with me and I will explain everything," she said. I nod and follow her. We reach a type of throne room and she sat down in this giant throne. The others sat down and she pointed to an empty chair next to her. I assume she wants me to sit so I do. She then proceeded to explain how I am a human/grim hybrid. The human part of me was a silver eyed warrior and the grim part of me was a dragrim (my made up grim.) She explained that I had the ability to transform into any grim as long as I've seen it and I can summon any grim I've seen. So since she created me, shes kinda like my mom. "do you understand," she asks. "I do, but I have a question." I say. "go ahead," she said. "Well since you created me, wouldn't you kinda be like my mother or something," I asked. "It does," she says, "if your asking to call me mother?" "you may, I do not mind." "OK mother." I say. "We will also be teaching you how to fight," mother says. I nod. "Tyrian, show her to her room, please." "Yes goddess, but shouldn't you name her?" "yes, I should, your name will be...... Grimina." mother said. "wonderful name goddess, now follow me Lady Grimina," Tyrian said. I nod and follow.

(14 years later)

I wake up and stretch. Today I was leaving home for beacon. I had been accepted 2 years earlier that I expected to be. I had pack a few days ago. I got ready to go. I put up my hair in two pigtails and covered my grim eye with my bangs. Mother told me to not tell or show anyone my eye. I had mastered my power also. I had hundreds of grim in my arsenal. I left my room and headed to see my mother so she can sent me off, literally, you have to have her sent you off cause its like 12 days of walking to get out of the grim lands. I arrived and said my goodbyes to everyone. My mother sends me off and I appear in an alley way. I grab my bags and head towards the airship. I get on and immediately feel out of place. I find a corner and I sit in it and hope no one comes over. After about a hour or two, we arrive at beacon. I grab my stuff and dash off the air ship. I walk over and hear a small explosion. I look behind me and see a girl in red getting yelled at by a girl in all white. I walk over and ask, "whats going on here?" "This girl went and blew a crack in the sidewalk," the one in white said. I examine the crater and sensed dust. "And is that because of you flinging your dust everywhere? She just sneezed, so she's not to blame." I say. The girl in white looked offended and probably tried to come up with some snarky reply to me but got nothing. Here face started to get red with anger and I pointed out "easy there don't get too mad, I'll ruin your all white look, your face is red." Me and the other girl started laughing and she huffed off. "Thanks, I'm ruby, how 'bout you?" She said. "Names grimina, nice to meet you ruby, hope we can be friends." "Yes! My first friend yay! Common, I gotta introduce you to my sister yang." Ruby said. "OK, lead the way." I say and she grabs my hand a runs off with me to the auditorium. She continued to drag me around until we reach a girl with yellow hair. "YANG, YANG LOOKIE LOOKIE LOOKIE I'VE GOT MY FIRST FRIEND HERE!!!!!!!!!!!" Ruby says excitedly. "That's cool lil' sis, what's her name?" The girl whose I assume is ruby's older sister says. "Names grimina, I presume yours is yang," I say. "Yup that's me, the one and only, Yang Xiao Long, at your service," yang says doing a bow and me and ruby laugh. We talk until the head master calls our attention.

*time skip night time

I get my sleeping bag ready and grab my bag. As I was reaching for it, I tripped. I prepared for impact but it didn't happen. I opened my eyes and saw a boy with black hair and a magenta strip in his hair. "you ok?" he asks. I nod and get out of his grasp. "names Grimina, nice to meet you..." I said waiting for his answer. "Lie ren, but you can call me ren." He said. "I thank you ren for catching me, I hope we meet again soon one day." I say. "It's a small world, and an even smaller school, so chances are we will." He said. I nod and gather my stuff. I look over my shoulder to see where he was but he had disappeared.  Interesting.
