Chapter 11

Lee Minho

"Where have you been?!" Changbin sprang out from his bed onto me.

"Chill! I just went outside."

"I thought they sacrificed you or something when I was sleeping!" Changbin went in front of me with a worried expression.

"Calm down, Bin. They won't do anything bad to me. They won't do anything bad to you. I wouldn't let that happen." I said as I pat him on the head. Suddenly, I felt a strong urge to protect this little boy.

Is this how Jisung felt for Felix?

A knock from the door rang inside the room. I can feel Changbin flinched beside me because of the knock. 

I sighed before walking back to the doors. I cautiously opened one of the large doors of the room. A maid surprised me with her monotone voice.

"Sir, young master held a small dinner for you and your friend. Would you like to go to them?" The maid bowed.

I looked at Changbin first before answering. He nods his head, yes.

"Please lead us." I gave a small smile at the maid. She bowed before walking away slowly. 

I made Changbin go out first before I got myself out. I pulled the door behind me, shutting it close before catching up with Changbin.

The dining room is big— no scratch that. It's ginormous! 

It's probably bigger than the room Youngjae gave us to rest in.

There are two long tables at either side of the room. The others are sitting at the long table on the left side of the hall. They're sitting at the left side of the table.

Jisung was sitting at the end of the table. He was looking at me with cold, serious and soulless eyes.

He wasn't jolly or cheerful before but the Jisung now is much worse than before.

He looks so intimidating!

I'm sure that I'm older than him since he's Felix's twin brother. But the case doesn't look like that at all.

Changbin and I sat down in front of each other. Felix is beside him and Hyunjin is beside me.

The maids started to serve the meals that they prepared ahead of time. 

I thought it's just a small dinner? Then why does it looks like there's a feast or something?!

"Everyone, we're going somewhere tonight." I was about to complain when Jisung spoke again.

"Minho and Changbin you're coming. It's way dangerous to stay by yourself. I'm not sacrificing a human." He arrogantly said.

"Did we said anything?" I answered. He just stared at me deeply making me gulp.

"Jisung. Just please give them a break!" Youngjae put his hand on top of Jisung's.

Jisung hissed before pulling his hand away.

"Don't touch me," Jisung said with a deep voice before staring at Youngjae's hand.

"Okay, okay! You sensitive shit." Youngjae tsked. His face shows that he's pissed.

I mean, who wouldn't be with this Jisung in front of us.

"Jisung... Please... Calm down." The only brunette girl in the room pleaded at his brother. I looked away and continued eating.

"After what they've done to my mother, to our mother, you're telling me to just fucking calm down?! How am I supposed to do that?!" Jisung yelled before slamming his hand on the table making us flinch hard.

"Jisung, please! We're in front of your friends!" The brunette girl said with a mad voice.

"They're not my friends. They're Felix's. I don't have friends." I froze with what I heard. His voice was so cold and it sounds like he's hurt.

Everyone stopped. No one dared to speak. I looked at him and I somehow met his eyes with my own.

"Tsk." He broke our eye contact when he stood up before storming outside of the room.

Oh, Jisung. Why do I feel so worried at you?

"Hyung, I don't want to go there! I don't want to go near them! They're Vampires! They're like the one who attacked us! They might kill us!" Changbin frantically exclaimed as he walked from left to right on repeat.

We came back from the dinner that they prepared for us.

"Changbin. Stop panicking. They won't do anything bad to us. They can't! I'll protect you!" I stood up and hold him in one place.

"And how will you be able to do that?! Didn't you see what that Jisung did to that whatever creatures that attacked us?! He burned them alive!" He said as he break-free from my hold.

"And what will we do? Escape? You said it yourself. Someone is after them, right? Then if we go out there, they will kill us before we even realized it!"

"But here?! Do you think we're safe here, huh?! They're Vampires too, Minho hyung! They're like them!" Changbin shouted.

"So what if they're like them, huh?! Changbin, stop stereotyping! Even tho they're like them, it doesn't mean they'll kill us too!" I can't help but raise my voice too.

"We wouldn't be able to do anything but to just follow them for our safety! We don't have any choice! We don't have powers to defend ourselves, not like them!"

"Please just trust me with this one," I said as I hugged him. He lost it when he hugged me back.

I can hear how loud he sobs. He's must be so scared by our situation.

"Everything's going to be alright. We got them by our side, okay?" He nodded. I rubbed his back in a comforting manner.

"Everyone ready?" Everyone answered lazily. We all walked at the mansion's huge backyard.

We all followed Jisung and Youngjae to the dark, leafy trail that they walked onto. Changbin was clutching my hoodie's sleeve so tight.

The sun hasn't risen yet but we're on the way to the place Jisung said we're going today.

"It's way too early." I heard someone groaned behind me. As if on cue, a yawn escaped my lips.

"Hyung, where do you think we're going?" Changbin asked me like a lost puppy.

"I don't know, Bin. All we could do now is be careful and just follow them." I sighed as I pulled him closer.

I was so close on bumping with Chan who's in front of me when the ones on the front suddenly stopped.

"What is it, hyung?" I heard Seungmin asked Felix. He was the only brave one to question what is it to make them stop.

"Someone's watching us."
