Chapter 6

Han Jisung

It's weekends and I don't have anything to do.

"I'm bored." I sighed as I stood up from the bean bag I was laying on.

Felix went with his friends to go see a movie. He wanted to make me join them but I don't want to destroy their moment together.

I'll just be awkward there with them. I'm not even close to them by a single bit.

I lazily walked towards the kitchen. I open the fridge and got a blood pack in the secret compartment. We have a jug full of blood but I prefer drinking out of the packet itself.

I dumped the empty packet in the trash before getting my thin jacket and got into my pair of shoes.

I don't know where I'm going.

I just want to go out.

"No! Help! Get away from me! Help!" My ears perked up when I heard a girl's scream.

I slightly panicked when I felt strong familiar energy. It's like it's just next to me. I didn't panicked because of the girl, I panicked because he might feel my Vampire energy because I wasn't around humans.

I can't coat my own Vampire energy when there's no human around.

I looked around to see where they are. I saw them right at my back. A girl and a guy were trapped by a buffed man.

The girl ran away making the buff man chase her leaving the guy alone. I was about to walk away when I heard the guy call me.

"Hey! Aren't you going to call for help?!" I wasn't facing him but I can hear loud stomps footsteps towards me. I didn't say anything. I stopped walking but I didn't turn back.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" I hissed when he grabbed me in the shoulder, turning me to face him.

"What the hell is your fucking problem?!" I yelled at him before hardly shoving his hand away from my shoulder with so much strength causing him to fall to the ground with a loud thud.

"Are you one of them?!" He shouted without looking at my face. I didn't answer him. Instead, I glared at him and hissed before walking away.

"Answer me, Han Jisung?!" He shouted making me halt my steps. Does he know me?! What the fuck?!

"What?! Answer me! Are you one of them?!" He shouted again.

"I'm not." I simply answered.

"Really, huh?" He sharply said with a normal voice. I heard some grumbling sounds from behind.

I should have walked away by now but my feet seem to be stuck. I couldn't move.

"Where did you take her? Tell me or I'll call the cops!" I turned around to face him. My eyes are strong when I looked at him.

"I already answered your stupid question. I'm not one of them," I said before glaring at him with cold and strong eyes.

"Where did you take her." He didn't listen to my comment and he still questions me. I didn't answer him. I just stared at him with the same eyes as earlier.

Come one, Jisung! Do something! Godammit!

"I'm calling the cops." He straightly said before pulling his phone out of his pocket. He was about to dial the number to the cops, a hand grabbed his phone.

"Chill, bruh. It's just a prank."

"Who the h-- Oh, hi there Chan hyung." The guy glared at the man behind him with green hair. Chan? I've heard that name before.

"Oh, why are you here Jisungie?" My whole face scrunches because of the given nickname to me.

"Don't call me that. I don't even know you." I snapped before looking at him with my cold eyes. I recognize him. But he isn't special to me so I didn't care to remember his name. Even that one with brown hair.

My eyes slightly widened when his eyes turned red for a second before it turns back to its original brown color.

"Vampire..." I whispered.

"Hyung, where's the girl?" Minho whined sarcastically breaking mine and that green-haired guy's eye contact.

"Back there." He looked at him before pointing at his back. The guy went to the direction pointed.

"You're a Vampire, right," I stated rather than asked. I put my hands in the pocket of my jeans, staring at him coldly.

"And you are too. I never expected you to be one. I never felt your energy." He said while looking at me calming, contrasting my cold eyes.

"Name."

"Bang Chan."

"Bang? The hideous family that's second in the ranking." I scoffed.

"Why are you here in our place?"

"This is Bang's? Never realize that." I sarcastically said, one corner of my lips started to go up forming a little smirk.

"Hyung! Where is she?"

"She probably got home since the surprise is ruined." He glared at me. I just shrugged before taking a step back. I started to walk away.

'Don't you tell anyone about what we talked about today. You'll regret it. Big time.'

The small smirk stayed at my mouth as I made my words enter his mind.

"Where have you been?" Felix welcomed me with a question after I entered back at our house.

"None of your business."

"Tsk. Way to ruin my day." He whispered before leaving me in the living room. He went up to our room, stomping every step he took.

So he's a Vampire too. Six Vampires in one classroom? That's a lot of bummers in my life.

I sighed as I turned the TV on. I don't like sleeping early. Of course, I'm a Vampire.

"Breaking news: a dead body is found near an alley in a street in Seoul. The police didn't find any trace of forced death so they assume that cardiac arrest is the reason. They're still waiting for the official autopsy report to conclude what is the cause of death."

They flashed a picture of the girl. There's no blood or wounds so they don't have to blur it out. They show the whole picture.

I recognize that girl.

Isn't she the one that supposedly 'escaped' from that buff man earlier? I thought it was staged as what that Bang said.

Maybe it wasn't.

I smirked as I remember what my sister said.

"Min empistéveste kanénan." Don't trust anybody.

Is he part of them? He might be. He also might be the one who did that to the girl.

"Breaking news: the dead girl's body that's found have two small dots in her neck. It's swollen and has traces of blood."

"They didn't notice this earlier because she was placed sideways. For me, this somehow looks like Vampire bites like those that are seen in Vampire movies."

Something inside me felt uncomfortable. I can feel my eyes burning and my fangs growing.

Blood.

I shook my head before blinking many times, trying to shook my craving away. My fangs pierced my lips making it bleed. I hissed in pain.

"I need... Blood..." I stood up and got to our fridge. I wobble as I walk.

The urge is making me dizzy as it was so strong. I ripped a blood packet with my fangs, indulging myself with its contents.

I exhaled loudly as I felt like something clenched my heart for a second. I put my hands in my chest out of instinct.

This is one of the reasons why I don't like being a Vampire. It's because whenever I saw blood, I crave. It hurts every time I crave.

Something somehow clenches my heart every time. It's just seconds but it felt like someone forced me to stop breathing, crushing my heart.

It happens every time I saw blood. Every time.

And I hate it.

I hate being a Vampire.
