Chapter 4

Han Jisung

"Y'all ready to go?"

I mentally regret everything while looking at them. Today is the day we set to be the 'meet up' day where we go to someone's house and discuss what we studied about Vampires.

"Yup." Only Hyunjin and Felix answered. The others just nod or shrugged.

While me?

Well, I'm just standing saying or doing nothing. As in nothing.

I just stared at them with no emotions on my face.

"So, where are we going?" Seungmin asked.

"Whose house?" Hyunjin looked at each of us.

"Umm, we could just go to our house! It's just a few blocks away from here!" Woojin offered.

"Sure."

We all got out of the cafe we stayed for a while. The meetup place Chan said.

I was behind them as they walked by four. Felix is with his three friends. They're laughing. I just bitterly smiled at myself as I felt left out.

"That's our house!" Woojin said as he pointed on a brown colored house.

"Come o--" Chan was cut when someone jumped in front of us. It's long brunette hair danced as she falls to the ground with a thud.

I was alarmed so I swiftly walked to get at the front. The person looked at me with dead eyes.

"Long time no see, Han." She said as she smirked. I immediately recognize her voice. My sister.

"Don't call me with that. What are you doing here?" I just stared at her with cold eyes. She giggled.

"Sorry for disturbing you. It's just that Father is chasing me." My eyes immediately widened when I heard what she said.

"Father?! He's here?!" I heard Felix's panicked voice.

"Uh, yeah."

"You're so careless, Jimin!" I exclaimed at her. She just giggled again.

"I'm sorry, brother. It's not my fault if Father is smarter than us. You just need to be careful." She said with a sweet smile.

She turned to face the way she's going to.

"Min empistéveste kanénan." Don't trust anybody.

She ran into the alley she was looking at a while ago.

"Ji, what are we going to do?! If Father caught u--" I cut Felix off before he can say anything else.

"Umm... Don't mind that. Let's just... Go." I tried my very hardest to sound fine even tho I was really bothered by what happened.

Some of them looked confused but the others just shrug it off.

"That's so... Odd."

"What could that be about?"

"Maybe some family matters?"

"I felt like I saw that girl before. I just can't point out where."

I overheard them talking because I go to the back again. They may be weirded out by what happened earlier.

I don't care. For now, we just need to be careful.

Very careful.

Why the hell would she say that?

What could have happened to her?

How did Father catch her?

"Jisung!"

"Y-yeah?" I shake the thought off my head as I heard them calling me.

"You seem deep in thought. We could continue this tomorrow if you're not feeling well." Chan said as he gave me a meaningful stare.

I looked around and I saw everybody looking at me. I might be overthinking things.

"No, no. I'm fine." I plastered a fond smile on my face. Chan just nodded as they continued to talk about their ideas.

I just can't think straight. I'm worried about my sister even tho I shouldn't because I know she can take care of herself.

She's part of Han's too. But she decided to change her surname to Park when she left us. She was the first one to leave that stupid family.

She just can't take the hard training every day that she became rebellious and left us. That's how that Father of them become like a mad man.

I looked around and I somehow felt suffocated. I coughed to fix my croaky voice before speaking.

"Uh, I'm going out for a few minutes," I said before standing up. Woojin nod as the others just stared at me.

'Próseche.' Be careful.

I looked at Felix before going out. I sent a message through his mind. He just nodded at me with worry in his eyes.

I walked to the front door, opening the door and leaving in a blink of an eye.

I need to calm my mind down.

Han Felix

"What's up with your brother? Why does he seem so bothered? Is it because of us?" Minho hyung asked.

"No. It's not because of you guys, don't worry. Maybe it's because of what happened a while ago." They stared at me, confused.

"What happened? It's odd but I don't remember anything from an hour ago." Changbin said with furrowed eyebrows as he looked like he's thinking hard.

"Same here!"

"Me too!"

"Oh... It's actually nothing." I just said while smiling at them.

I forgot that Jimin Noona has the ability to erase a certain memory or event from a normal person's mind. She could've erased their memory before leaving us completely.

But that's not effective for us Vampires. Like me and Hyunjin hyung.

Unless for some low ranked or low-class Vampires who could be controlled by a high rank.

It's not effective humans turned into Vampires by a bite of a high ranked Vampire too. Like Seungmin.

I can see Chan hyung's staring at me from my peripheral vision. I'm quite bothered by it but I just chose to don't mind it.

We continued to share our thoughts and ideas to make our project more appealing to our professor for him to give us a high grade.

Even though I'm not a normal person, I still want to do great in my studies. Even though I already learned their subjects and probably studied a thousand times more than how they normally did.

"Bye!" I waved at them as I left with Hyunjin hyung, Seungmin, and Jeongin.

Jeongin made his furry ears and furry tail appear when we're out of their sight.

"Ugh, finally." He sighed in relief after he let his ears and tail appear. It must be hard to fight the urge to make his ear twitch and his tail move when he's hiding it.

Jisung didn't come back after he left. I was worried and confused. I don't know whether to just shrug the thought off of my head or acknowledge it and become worried.

"So, that's your sister?" I was put back to reality when Seungmin asked me.

"Yup."

"Is she one of us too?" Hyunjin hyung asked.

"Yeah. She's older than us." I said. Pertaining to both Jisung and me.

"But, why didn't Jisung called her Noona when they're talking to each other a while ago?"

"You know my brother, he didn't really use honorifics. He probably didn't even bother to call our hyungs, hyungs." I scoffed.

"And why is that?"

"My brother is rather kind of ignorant. He wasn't that kind as what our batch says. He's just caring for that title for an obvious reason. For them not to bother him and let him be." I sighed.

We parted ways. Their house is just in the next street from where I and Jisung are staying. It's a bit close to us. Their house is just walking distance from ours.

"Just let me stay here. For a week or two. I promise I'll be careful!" I heard a voice from inside our house. A female voice to be exact.

"Ugh. You're so annoying. Fine!" I heard Jisung exclaimed.

"Told you, you can't say no from me."

"Just be sure that they won't catch you here. Because if they do, they'll find us too!"

"Don't worry. I'm going to protect you two from them." I quietly entered inside.

I smiled as I saw Jimin Noona hugging Jisung, whose eyes are closed.

Jisung isn't that ignorant as he portrayed.

He just can't express himself not like me and Noona.
