To all of the wonderful judges and amazing participants, thank you for helping this award run smoothly. I am so thrilled that we were able to get everything done in a short amount of time, and I hope that everyone enjoyed it! Before I officially end this season, I have a couple of announcements.

If you're a judge and haven't been told about your prizes, please contact me! I'm still working on those reads, and it might take a couple months. I will make an announcement when I'm done so you can let me know if I forgot your book (which might happen, I'm a mess sometimes).

Cultural Ambassadors

If you don't know what that is, it's because I just made it up.

Here's the goal: connect authors trying to write about a foreign culture or use phrases in a foreign language or dialect with a "cultural ambassador" who can help them.

It's a win-win right? Readers get to see their culture written accurately, and authors get a direct source of cultural knowledge!

Obviously, there are a lot of complications and logistics to be worked out, so I'll be working behind the scenes to make a book that will serve as the guide/directory to the cultural ambassadors, set up a discord, and recruit the first ambassadors. It's going to be a lot of work, but if it sounds like something you'd like to be involved in and you want to learn more, let me know!
