WHO IS CORDELLA ABERNATHY?

Many people are wondering who up-and-coming Marvel star, Tom Holland, friend Cordella Abernathy is. Well, we have all kinds of special details right here on MTV.com!

Cordella Abernathy is a English singer-songwriter. She is twenty-one years old and originated in Kingston, England. She had her start on YouTube when she was just sixteen years old. Though it wasn't big at the time, she posted original songs and content on the channel only to be recognized years later. She took the internet by storm with her immense talent. Way to go, girl!

But, talent is what runs in the family! She's also siblings with X-Men actor, Dominic Abernathy and Maze Runner actor Ezekiel Abernathy. It's also been said she's close with both X-Men and Maze Runner casts. How lucky!

The real question here is, how does she know Tom? Apparently, they go way back! Resources say these two knew each since they were very young. She also posted some throwback photos on her Instagram. view photos here

So many people have speculated that these long-time best friends were dating, truth be told, they're actually not. Cori has stated in a interview recently that they're just friends. Ouch, way to crush Tori shippers.

and work a lot. We really don't have time for relationships. But we still support each other's
decisions on other things as well, so. "

Cori has also just announced a U.K. and U.S. tour! Most of the feedback were from amazing fans, but we also couldn't help but notice some Avengers have peaked in to show their support and congratulate her on her success. How cute!
