Floyd gets a call from someone who he used to know, and nobody knows who it is but when he goes to meet this person, he finds himself running into Boom.

One morning Floyd was in the bunker Branch had made for them and he was making breakfast when his phone went off and he answers it.

''Hello?'' He asked.

''Hey Floyd, long time, how are you?'' Asked a voice that left Floyd speechless and shocked.

''What do you want Ace?'' Floyd asked not wanting to deal with this.

''I miss you Floyd and I want us to try to be a couple again.'' Ace replied getting out of the shower.

Floyd shook his head and sighed inwardly.

Him and Ace were a couple sometime after he left the band, and they were happy together, but Ace had cheated on Floyd a couple times and finally Floyd left and that is when he went to Mount Rageous to live there away from Ace and that life. Of course, old past has a way of catching up to one.

''No, should I remind you, your the one who cheated on me and left me like I was nothing. No going to happen. You should know better.'' Floyd yells in the phone.

Branch had woken up same as the other brothers and came out to hear Floyd yelling and hanging up the phone.

''Hey bro everything ok?'' Asked John Dory coming over.

''Yeah, I'm fine.'' He replied and got back to making toast.

The brothers all looked at each other and concerned. ''Alright bro. Just let us know if there is anything we can do.'' Clay said suddenly out came yellow wild hair in Clay's robe.

''What's going on?'' Asked Viva.

The brothers looked at her and Clay and were smirking. ''So, I guess we know what the loud music was for last night.'' Branch teased as the others laughed and Floyd giggles.

Viva smirks. ''Well, what can I say this handsome guy here was a complete gentleman last night.''

They laughed and a voice came out. ''What is going on?''

They saw Poppy in her pj's and looking at them and hugged Branch from behind.

''I guess I missed them memo of bring a girl to the bunker.'' John Dory protested.

''Well, mine is at home. But back to the subject who was that, Floyd?'' Asked Spruce.

''Someone I knew in the past and that is where it's going to stay.'' He replied.

''Ooh our little Floyd has a secret crush!'' John Dory giggles wrapping his arm around Floyd.

''DROP IT JOHN! I'M NOT IN THE MOOD!'' Floyd snapped.

John Dory was taken aback same as the others. Floyd looked down not looking up working on his toast.

''Ok, ok it was a joke bro, but well leave you.'' John Dory shrugged going back to his room.

Spruce went to his room, while Viva pulled Clay to their shared room.

Poppy went back to Branch's room; Branch was about follow but stopped and looked at Floyd going over to him.

Floyd stopped when he felt a hand over his and saw it was Branch. ''What is it Branch?''

''Look, John Dory didn't mean anything by it but... are you sure you are, ok?'' Asked Branch.

''I'm fine Branch... it's a long story and I don't feel comfortable talking about it.'' Floyd said looking at his baby brother.

''I'm here if you want to talk... I won't say a word to anyone.'' Branch replied.

Floyd smiled. ''I know Branch but still just leave please.''

''Sure.'' Branch left.

Floyd sat down and sighed.

Over the next couple of days Floyd had been annoyed getting the same phone call and his temper was short, he was doing great with the new songs and dances, it seemed he was more determined then ever.

One day Poppy had decided to go to the bunker to see the boys but when she got down, she heard Floyd shouting.

''No! Stop calling! Nothing has changed and that is that! We used to be together but that all changed!''

''Look Floyd, I just want us to be on talking terms please meet me at the Valley Way Beach tomorrow. I just want to catch up on life please.'' Asked Ace.

''I'll think about it.'' Floyd said hanging up.

Poppy walks over. ''Hey Floyd.''

He jumped at seeing Poppy and sighed. ''How much did you hear?''

''Enough to know that you are fighting with an ex. Is there something I can do to help? I'm a good listener and I don't tell Branch everything.'' She said sitting down.

''Well... I guess I should tell someone but keep it to yourself as well.'' Floyd said sitting down on the couch as Poppy sat next to him.

''So um not sure if your aware but um I'm not interested in girls for a relationship, I'm more into guys.'' He confessed.

Poppy held his hand and lifts his chin up. ''There is nothing to be ashamed about. In fact I know some trolls here that are that way. Take my friend Guy Diamond he's gay and everyone loves him.'' She replies.

''Well it's good to know, but anyway back in the day maybe a year or 2 after I left the band I met this troll named Ace and we got along great at first.'' Floyd said.

Flashback...

A young Floyd was had finished a concert and went to sign autographs when a handsome red troll came over with hair just like Floyds.

''Who shall I make this out to?'' Asked Floyd.

''Ace... also I'm hoping to be in music as well and I was wondering if I could get some tips from you.'' Ace said.

''Of course I'll meet you after the concert.'' Floyd said.

Later they met up and went to a bar where they talked. And for a couple weeks they met up and one night they were laughing at a joke and Ace leaned in and kissed Floyd who kisses back.

Flashback over...

''So we started dating for a year, very close I felt he was the one and overtime my solo career slowed down but I decided to go to different small villages to play to get popular and I always had Ace come with me but one time he wanted to stay home so I let him and I was supposed to be gone for 3 days but I didn't too well with my solos so I went home early and that's when it happened...'' He replied.

''What?'' Asked Poppy concerned and knowing the answer.

''I came home and found him making out with another guy... I was disgusted by it and after that he dropped the guy and was working hard to make us work... I was dumb enough to go back to him. Then a month later I caught him in the shower with another guy after my concert and I left without saying a word and went to Mount Rageous and lived there. I forgot all about him. Then a few days ago he calls wanted to try again. I refused him and now he wants to meet at a beach bar to catch up.'' He frowned.

Poppy hugged Floyd. ''I'm so sorry you went through that. Do you still have some feelings for him?'' She asked.

Floyd hugged her and pulls away. ''No, not anymore, but I'm not sure I want to see him again.''

''Well, I think maybe you should see him, and clear the air, tell him flat out your done and then walk away.'' Poppy replied.

''I've thought about it but what if something comes up? Or I can't get back?'' He asked.

''You think he's dangous?'' She asked.

''No, he's not he like me.'' Floyd said trying to find some excuse not to go.

''Ok, if you want I can go with you or get my friend Guy Diamond to go with you.'' She suggested.

''No, this is something I have to do myself but thanks Poppy.'' He hugs her.

''Do your brothers know your gay?'' She asked.

''No, and I don't feel like telling them just yet.'' Floyd said.

''Alright, I won't say anything.'' Poppy smiles.

''Branch is very lucky to have someone like you, and your a wonderful queen.'' He complimented and called Ace.

Some hours later he made it to the beach bar and saw his ex at a table and went over sitting across from him.

''Your looking good Floyd.'' Ace smiled.

He was a red troll with green hair the same way as Floyd as he leans back.

''I can say the same for you.'' Floyd said as drinks came.

''So, what have you been up to?'' Asked Ace.

''Nothing much reunited with my brothers and now we are a reformed band.'' He replied.

''Nice, life has been dull without you.'' Ace replied trying to hold Floyd's hand.

''Yeah well, that is another reason I'm here... there is no us we are done for good.'' Floyd said gulping and looking down.

He wasn't the best at conflict.

''Why? I've changed. I've given up my old ways.'' Ace said.

Floyd looked and saw a familar male troll he could tell by the rainbow hair and jean vest. He looks at his ex.

''I've changed too and right now I'm not looking for a relationship.'' Floyd replied.

''Why? Is it because you have someone else?'' Asked Ace annoyed.

''So what if I do? It's none of your business.'' Floyd snapped.

''It is! Because we aren't done yet! You left me! But we never broke up so therefore we are together, and you've been cheating on me!'' Shouted Ace.

Floyd gulps and shook his head. ''You started it and I left.''

''Yeah and now, you will come back with me!'' Shouted Ace.

''What's going on?'' Asked a voice.

Floyd had never been so glad to see Boom standing there.

''Hey Boom!'' Floyd stood up.

''Oh, I see you bring your boyfriend here, can't face me yourself?'' Sneered Ace.

Floyd was about to say something when Boom intervened.

''Yes, I am his boyfriend and he said he was meeting up with his ex.'' Boom answered.

''Well, me and him are still together.'' Ace growls.

Boom lifted Ace by the shirt and pinned him to the wall. ''He says you guys are done and you need to respect that. If I ever catch you messing with my boyfriend, I swear you will wish you never met Floyd.'' Boom threatened dropping Ace.

Ace frowns. ''Fine! I guess we are done!'' He left.

''You ok Floyd?'' Asked Boom.

''Yeah I am thanks.'' He hugged Boom.

Boom hugged back and pulls away. ''Strange to see you here.''

''Yeah, came to deal with my ex.'' He replied blushing.

''I see well I'm glad I was here.'' Boom said as they were walking together.

''Same here... so um thanks for saving me.'' Floyd smiles.

''Of course, and sorry if I overstepped of being your boyfriend.'' Boom laughs.

''You didn't in fact I was wondering if we could see more of each other and see where it leads.'' Floyd suggested.

''Floyd, you really asking me a date?'' Boom asked.

''Yes, I am.'' Floyd smiles.

''Alright but I want something in return for saving you.'' Boom teased playfully.

''I'll think of something.'' Floyd answered.

''How about this?'' Boom turns Floyd to him and kisses him on the lips for a second and pulled away.

Floyd was surprised and looks at him. ''That was...''

He leans in and kisses Boom back as they stand there to the side as they make out passionately together.

They pull away. ''How about we get some dinner?'' Asked Boom.

''Sure.'' Floyd laughs as they took off.
