𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐅𝐔𝐘𝐔 found a small convenience store near the library that had some food you could eat. But there weren't many things in the store since apparently a crazy man with fangs ran into the store and stole almost all the food items they sold.

Chifuyu had a hunch that the 'crazy man' who stole from the store was Baji but he decided just to interrogate his friend later.

You both sat on a bench near a park, eating the food you had bought. There wasn't much to talk about but the silence was comforting. After a while, the both of you had finished eating and decided to explore the park nearby.

"So.. um.. there is a festival coming up soon, there will be fireworks and everything and I was wondering if you're free so maybe we could go together." Chifuyu said, nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"I'd love to go! When is it?"

"It's in 2 weeks."

You nodded, "I'll make sure I'm free." You smiled

Chifuyu hummed, nodding his head, as a soft shade of pink covered his pale cheeks.

"Look there are ducks at the lake! Let's sit nearby and watch them." You exclaimed, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards a tree near the lake.

Chifuyu felt butterflies flutter around in his stomach when you held his hand.

You both sat down watching the ducks, when you asked a question out of the blue.

"Chifuyu, can I tie your hair?!" You asked

"Yes! I mean.. sure." He muttered, a grin on his face.

You smirked, sitting in front of him, taking the hair tie off of your wrist to use for his hair. You decided to tie his hair in two pigtails since you had another hair tie in your pocket.

(A/N: I carry multiple hair ties since they all snap bc my hair is so thick 😓)

While you were doing his hair, Chifuyu looked at you, adoration in his eyes.

My crush is playing with my hair. MY CRUSH is playing with my hair. MY CRUSH IS PLAYING WITH MY HAIR!!!! He thought to himself, he did a mini happy dance in his head.

"Ok, done!" You grinned, taking out your phone and taking a photo of him. The look on his face was so cute, he had wide eyes, his mouth was hung open and he had little pigtails on his head.

You quickly added the photo to your favourites because if you didn't then you'd loose it in your camera roll.

"Can I see?" He asked

You showed him the photo, he looked at it and covered his face with his hands in embarrassment. You noticed his cheeks turn slightly red.

"You look cute!" You said, moving his arms from his face.

He was blushing like crazy, you couldn't help but take another photo of him.

"Keep on taking photos and I'll throw your phone in the lake." He frowned

"You wouldn't," you gasped.

"I would... no, I wouldn't." He sighed

Suddenly he snatched his phone off you, turning the camera on and taking selfies of you and him. Your expression changed each photo, and when Chifuyu was scrolling through them he couldn't help but laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" You huffed crossing your arms over your chest.

"You facial expressions... they make you look cute." He said, calming down from laughing.

You both ended up talking about random stuff for a while when a duck ran out of the lake. It was heading straight for you and it looked angry. You quickly stood up, grabbing your bag and Chifuyu's hand, you started running away from the duck, dragging him with you.

The duck was now chasing you around the park, people laughed as you and Chifuyu screamed running away from the small creature. You ran into a random store, slamming the door closed behind you.

You were breathing heavily trying to catch your breath. You looked at Chifuyu, locking eyes with him. A minute later and you both bursted out laughing.

You ended up getting Chifuyu's number, making his contact photo the you took of him with pigtails and blush all over his face.

You sat in your classroom talking to your friends since it was currently lunch.

"(Y/N), I heard you were out with a boy yesterday." One of your friends said

"Who told you that?!" You exclaimed, heat rushing to your cheeks.

"A little bird... who said you were like lovers." She replied

"We are not!"

Halfway through lunch you found yourself making your way to Chifuyu's classroom, he had told you which one it was in case you had ever wanted to talk to him.

You approached the boys who stood outside his classroom.

"Is Chifuyu here?" You asked

"(Y/N)? What do you want?" A girl you knew asked

You felt your cheeks heat up as you scratched the back of your neck nervously.

"Is Chifuyu in this class?"

"Chifuyu? Yeah, he's here." She said before turning to face the people in the class, "oi, Chifuyu! You've got a visitor! A girl!" She yelled

Chifuyu looked up, eyes meeting yours, a confused look on his face. Everyone in his class had a confused look on their faces.

"There he is." The girl pointed at Chifuyu

Chifuyu was blushing like crazy. "(Y/N)?" He questioned

His class was silent.

"Can I talk to you?" You asked

"Yes!" He quickly stood up

"Chifuyu's got a girlfriend! Girlfriend! Girlfriend!" His class cheered

"No, I don't!" He shouted, his face was now a dark shade of crimson. He rushed out of the classroom so he was standing in front of you.

"What did you want to talk about?" He asked

"I'm going to England." You said

Chifuyu felt his heart drop.

"What?" He looked back and saw his class crowding behind him, trying to listen to your conversation. "Come with me."

You followed him, walking up the stairs behind him.

"Where are we going?" You asked

"The roof!"

Once you reached the roof, your realised it was raining. It wasn't raining heavily though, so you could still talk up here without getting soaked.

"Wow!" You muttered, looking up at the rain.

"We can't talk with all those people around." He said

"Sorry. I wanted to tell you first." You mumbled

He felt his heart flutter slightly.

"Why are you going to England?" He asked, looking down.

"I'm going for a literacy program!" You smiled

"When are you going?"

"After the festival, I'll be gone for a month and half." You said

He nodded, "the rain's stopping," he said.

"Yeah.. look over there!" You exclaimed, pointing towards the rainbow in the sky. You walked over to the railing on the roof, Chifuyu standing next to you.

Your hand was next to Chifuyu's and you couldn't help but want to hold his hand.

"What's England like? I hope it's nice." He spoke up

"I heard it rains a lot, I'm not sure though. I guess I'll have to find out."

You felt his hand hold yours. His warm hand heated up your cold one, you felt heat rush to your cheeks when you realised he was holding your hand. Butterflies erupted in your stomach.

"I saw your name on the library cards a long time ago." He said, "we passed each other all the time in the library. I even sat next to you."

You gasped at his words, surprised you had never noticed the fact that he sat next to you.

"I read all kinds of books so my name would be on the cards before yours."

You smiled.

"I.. I'll recite your poem while you're gone." He said

Your heart fluttered.

"I'll look at the pictures of you with pigtails while I'm in England." You chuckled

"Don't push!" Someone behind you exclaimed

A group of people fell out from hiding behind the door to the roof. You and Chifuyu snapped your heads around to see who it was. That when you realised his whole class had been listening to your conversation.

His class quickly got up and ran away.

"Hey!" He shouted, running after them.

"Look out, he's mad!" He classmates yelled
