The review -

A beautiful short tale set in retro, urban India. The fact that it's written in hindi, add sparkles on the already sizzling theme.

The writer certainly has a strong grip on language as well as on literature which amazed me. It's so rare and at the very same time, enticing to read on wattpad.

One will get a strong whisk of bollywood movies and songs of 60's era. Afterall, our protagonist city is Mumbai or should I write 'Bambai'? People who enjoy hindi literature(like me) will be hooked. Few lines are so beautiful that it leaves behind a strong impression on one's mind.

Opening scene itself is unique yet further down the chapter you can imagine it happening in that time.

Coming down to our characters, Arnav, is an entire package, a fine gentleman, professor and a poet! Meanwhile, Swapnali, is mind wobbling beautiful, bold and charming. Tad bit cliché? Kind of but story lines manages to dilute it.

Then we have our antagonists but won't get much into the details because that will be equivalent to spoilers.

From easy going college life, silly crushes, raw human emotions, toxic patriarchy to scandals of bollywood, the book sums up a lot in six chapters.

We often think that patriarchy affects only women, but for a change, we will see that even men are burdened and suffocated by stereotypes.

I do have one thing to point out though. Had this book been written in devnagri script, it would've been a lot better. But I understand author's point of view as it takes quite a lot of time.

Since it's a short story, I can't give an elaborate review but good job, writer.
