chapter four - wednesday touch

kageyama and hinata have not talked since monday.

it's wednesday and kageyama hates keeping this distance with hinata, but he doesn't want to be considered clingy and annoying. kageyama did not want to come off like that to a fan that he just met.

   something about hinata was different.

   kageyama didn't know what that 'something' was.

   but he did want to find out.

   kageyama's new dog was picked up yesterday from the pet shop, and let me tell you, tobio absolutely loved that little corgi.

   but,

   he didn't have a name yet.

   kageyama decided to stop being so dang stubborn, and to ask hinata to come over.

   tobio thought he did a pretty good job of inviting him over.  he talked how one of his writing buddies (oikawa) talks to him. (he thought it was how all the cool kids talked)

hinata rang the apartment doorbell and waited. he heard a couple of crashes and a loud "OW," and then the door opened.

"hello boke."

"FOR THE LAST TIME BAKAYAMA, I AM NOT A BOKE- oh my god is that your dog it's so cute," hinata said, trying to be tough until the dog came.

"um yeah, here you can come in." kageyama said, stepping out if the doorway.

hinata was already on the floor playing with the dog.

"have you eaten yet?" kageyama sighed. before hinata said anything, his stomach growled.

hinata blushed, "n-no" he sheepishly explained, "let's order a pizza! and kageyama i swear to got if you get pineapple on the pizza i will kidnap your dog. by the way, what did you name her? or him, i'm not judging. "

kageyama picked up his phone, "oh, that's the thing. i can't think of a name. "

"wHATTT? BUT YOUR KAGEYAMA TOBIO! how can the famous writer not think of a dogs name?"

"you don't have to get pizza,"

hinata gasped, "alright alright, i'll help you think of one. how about- squidward!"

"no."

"robert."

"nO"

"harambe"

"i'm not naming my dog after a dead monkey."

"your no fun, what about,, crow?"

"hmm, okay. why not."

suddenly crow jumped onto hinata's lap, and fell asleep.

   after about just one whole hour filled with talking, kageyama suggested hinata to preview a new book he's been working on.

   "wow! really? i'm so excited!! thank you!" hinata said, the much shorter male then quickly hugged kageyama.

   it was just a little throw of arms around the taller male for hinata, but for tobio, it was like getting pet by an angel.

   with a very red face, tobio went into his room and grabbed his sticker-covered laptop.

   after about thirty minutes, kageyama started feeling sleepy. he loved seeing the orange haired angel- i mean boy, read his book, but it was pretty much past his bed time. he closed his eyes and let his head fall on hinata's shoulder.

   although tobio was half asleep, he felt a pair of lips on his forehead.

hey so school just started back up so updates might be a bit slower :(

i'm suffocating in the fluff because i have no idea how to write angst i'm sorry not sorry.
