"What's going on?" I looked over at the rest of the table to see if anyone say what I was seeing, but no one was paying attention.

      I looked back at Canis and he shook his head, a smile on his face. "I don't know, little brother. but I like it!"

      My hands shook slightly as I looked at my brother. What was going on with him? I looked down at my hands and tried to calm them, then looked back up at Canis, but he was back to normal. His eyes dark and calm, like the forest. he wasn't even looking at me anymore, just listening to my dad, Maxx, and my uncle Danny fight.
