REVIEW:
Cover:
I hate to start my review with rejection but I don't like your cover. The picture is related and cool, but the font does not suit it much. You can find a lot of pictures of knights on Unsplash so it is not really hard and try to keep the pixels of picture of wattpad constant.
Description:
It is a pretty interesting description. The kind of description that makes you say, "Come here, darling,'
Dunno about others but I say it to all the books which descriptions I like. It is a small description, to the point, and playing a fantastic role in piquing one's interest.
Plot:
An amazing fantastic plot with bewildering twists and turns and lively characters is at your service.
The book is planned well. You know what you are writing and what you want to convey and this is what matters the most. The way you have portrayed a peaceful world for Salvador when he is nothing and a chaotic world when he is something is beautiful. Your world is crafted well—the rules, the laws, the higher classes, the lower ones, all are described effectively. The respect in their language is fascinating too. Though I will say that it will be better is you explain the characters and places a little more. When I didn't know what was what and who was who, I didn't understand stuff and hence, it got boring. At least tell us in a one lines or so. It will be pretty helpful.
Characters:
Ooooo YEAH BABY!
I loooooooooooooooooove your characters. Did you hear my drool? Did you hear the tic tic of o's? Did you hear it?
No?
Okay.
So the thing is, your characters feel so much like humans. I see the development in them and sensational change in their perspectives. This is the effect of three-dimensional characters. Apart from multiple o's, you give your readers a realistic connection to the world you have created. You know your fantastic world is nothing if your characters are nothing. They are directly proportional.
Coming to Salvator, (he reminds me of this masterpiece tho)
(Two gifs just because I love him)
He is a character who is shown as a lively character when he didn't step in the real world. He was just a kid who craved adventures so much he was ready to leave his parents. It was his passion to step out into real world and when he did, he got what real world is actually made up of. His perceptions changed and we saw him developing his character not only positively but negatively too. He is not that cheery, exuberant Salvator anymore. He is so much more than that. He has learned what world is and he is fed up with it. It also shows the importance of his parents' roles. How they kept him protected from the outside world. And now that he has lost them, that blindfold has been taken off, he wants to fight. It is such a beautiful development. I am not kidding. I really loved it.
The other characters do not have so much of a development so they cannot be discussed much. They just appear and go away even Gerald. But I am not complaining. Salvator's life does not allow him rest.
Writing style:
It is ravishing. The way you explain the things at such a small level and how you sometimes don't. It is actually important to learn too; what to explain and what not to explain. Your writing style is not too wordy and nor it is less either.
Grammar:
As far as I have read, I have not found any mistakes yet.
Quality:
It is good but it can use some improvement. Especially the endings of the chapters. The starting of the chapters is good but the ending could use a little, just a little modification.
Overall Review:
I love the story. A good plot, good character development, a good writing—it is a whole package. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure, fantasy and slight drama.
Thank you for writing it!
