I hope you enjoyed reading Kelly's journey. It was a rollercoaster to write, that's for sure. But I really loved telling her story.

Here are some fun facts about Booked before you leave:

-Three of the characters (Marge, Anna, and Olivia) were afterthoughts. I didn't include them in the story outline. They literally just appeared on the page and surprised me, so I had to improvise a bit for them. 

-I considered revealing Anna as Marge's daughter (that didn't work out, fortunately, phew).

-In my original outline, Miles did not have writer's block.

-The wedding chapter is one of the earliest concepts I came up with while planning this book and I initially planned to have Miles and Kelly sing together (off-key, obviously) because the band was late. But I cut it out, haha, because it was irrelevant to the plot.

-This one was actually pointed out by @Avery-Reeds and I hadn't even realized: The letters in Miles's name can be tweaked just a little bit to make "Smile" which is very convenient since that's what he does all the time.
