"No way! I didn't know that it lives here, it's a demon that rules the realm of water and the enemy of the human race" Caribou muttered to himself looking over the railing of the Sunny.

"Straw Hats! You should turn back now! It's dangerous!" he yelled turning to the crew.

"I had forgotten about you" Zoro said going over with Nicole following like the love sick puppy she is.

"There's a monster!" Caribou told them.

"What?!" Chopper yelled.

"What are you talking about? Cut the crap, those myths are just made up by someone" Usopp said but just then a giant tentacle drifted by them releasing the ship it had been holding.

"It .... It's right there" Chopper said clinging to Brook fearfully.

"Cut it out guys!" Usopp said.

"B-behind you" Nami said.

"What are you saying?" Usopp asked.

"Turn around you idiot" Nicole told him, and Usopp did than he yelled spotting the giant octopus infront of the Sunny.

"It's the Kraken!" Usopp yelled, Chopper and Brook screamed, "How huge! The monster octopus!" Usopp yelled.

"Looks like he broke a lot of ships, ships that had left for the New World that have been attacked by it" Franky said.

"Please! I don't wanna die! Go back! If you just wait for a few days it would" Caribou was cut off by Luffy telling him to shut up.

"I have a good idea! Let's tame him!" the rubber man grinned.

"Huh?" the crew echoed.

"What did you say Luffy?" Usopp asked pointing at him.

"Let's tame the octopus and make him pull our ship" Luffy said.

"No way! Take a good look! No you don't have to take a good look since it's huge!" Usopp said as he and Chopper were in tears of fear.

"Oh it's big!" Luffy said unconcerned.

"We're dead!" Chopper cried.

"It must've been around for several hundred years! The Kraken appears in many myths in the world, it's like a visionary creature!" Usopp yelled.

"It has no bones and i'm a skeleton without any flesh, it's the polar opposite of me" Brook said swinging in the swing they had on the deck hung from a tree, while calmly sipping tea.

"I don't care!" Usopp yelled.

"You're quite good" Franky commented Robin's drawing of the creature.

"You can't see this kind of thing often so" she trailed off sketching the Kraken.

"Sketching? How relaxed?!" Chopper yelled.

"We'll help you out but do you have any plan Luffy?" Zoro asked, referring to himself and Nicole, both with a sword at the ready.

"The problem is that we're in the sea" Luffy said.

Nicole nodded in agreement "It's quite a problem indeed" she said.

"No, no, no, the problem is the size of it, it would be dangerous even if we were on land" Usopp said putting his arm around Luffy's shoulder.

*What's wrong with them? This is the kind of situation when everybody agrees to run away at full speed* Caribou thought to himself.

"Shift the helm to the south!" Nami called.

"Hey Nami, go straight towards the octopus" Luffy told her.

"Don't be a fool!" Nami yelled at him "The octopus will" she was cut off as Sanji came over "Whoa, whoa Nami-san, i'm here for, here for, for you" he said having only a small spurt of nosebleed.

"You held it! Good job!" Usopp cheered for Sanji.

"Thanks to the rehabilitation and to Nami for wearing a coat" Chopper said.

*It's dangerous to be on this ship, i've got to protect myself* Caribou thought to himself.

"Something's coming from behind!" Nicole suddenly called looking behind them where Caribou's ship pulled up with Momoo still towing it.

"They came back!" Usopp called.

"Coribou! Guys!" Caribou called.

"We're gonna save my brother!" Coribou yelled.

"Yes!" their crew echoed.

"You came back to save me huh?" Caribou cried but before the ship got close enough the Kraken lashed out with a tentacle and crushed the ship, coating and all.

"The coating popped!" Chopper yelled.

"That ship is even bigger than Sunny!" Usopp yelled.

"Oh guys!" Caribou cried as his crew floated up to the surface.

"They look like a school of jellyfish" Zoro said and Nicole snickered a a small laugh.

"Shut up Roronoa! Cut it out!" Caribou yelled at him.

"Heads up, the octopus is coming at us next!" Nicole warned as the kraken closed in on the Sunny.

"It's too big!" Chopper exclaimed.

"How can we fight against it?" Nami asked.

Luffy and Zoro got all ready to fight it before Usopp stopped them "You'll brake the bubble!" he yelled at them just as the Kraken took a swing at the Sunny but Franky used Chicken Voyage making the ship reverse out of the way.

"Can we get away somehow?!" Nami asked as the kraken tried attacking the ship again and again.

"Don't do anything! I'll beat it!" Luffy said.

"No! You're gonna break the bubble!" Chopper yelled jumping on the rubber man.

"Listen! If you wanna fight against it that much here's an idea!" Caribou said.

"What is it? Tell me" Luffy said turning to the stow away.

"Okay, that's good! That's the extravehicular Flutter Kick Coating, an extravehicular diving suit!" Caribou said once Luffy, Sanji, Zoro and Nicole all had hopped into bubbles themselves.

"As long as you're in it, you can fight as you want even in water" Caribou said *If i let these fools do whatever they want, i'll be in danger too!* he thought to himself.

"You shouldn't have done that stranger! We wanted to run away! Now they're gonna fight!" Usopp yelled at him.

"I told you guys to run from the beginning but that captain won't listen, would you rather they fought on this ship?" Caribou asked.

"Okay, good luck! Go far away!" Usopp said cheering them on.

"This rope is annoying" Luffy commented.

"Stay away from this ship!" Nami told him.

"Alright, okay let's go!" Luffy said.

"Yeah!" Zoro, Sanji and Nicole echoed.

They all dropped the ropes that were supposed to anchor them to the ship before running off, all of the frontline fighters felt that it would just get in the way.

"Wait! You have to attach the safety rope! You'll be separated!" Nami called but the four had already left the Sunny.

"Nami-san's worrying about me! And i'm rushing into battle with Nicole-san" Sanji said to himself and spurted some blood from his nose.

"You guys! Draw his attention for me, i'm gonna beat him with one strong blow!" Luffy said.

"I could beat him right away" Zoro said.

"Could you do it without cutting him to bits? Are you delicate enough to be that precise? Don't think so" Nicole said smirking at him

"What you say?!" Zoro asked rising to the challenge.

"Yeah! I want the octopus as a pet!" Luffy said.

"Are they okay?" Chopper wondered.

"Stay as far away as you can! Even a millimeter" Usopp was cut off by a tentacle flying past the ship scaring him and Chopper "But it's attacking us!" he yelled.

"Move aside guys!" Franky called before pressing his shoulder and opening a rocket launcher which got stars popping from Usopp's, Chopper's and Luffy's eyes.

"Franky Rocket Launcher!" he called his attack which head on at the tentacle heading for the ship.

"Got it!" Usopp cheered.

"How powerful!" Chopper cheered, when another arm popped up behind them, scaring them.

"No, another arm!" Usopp yelled.

"Why does he keep attacking us?!" Chopper asked.

"It's gonna hit us!" Nami said.

"Guard Point!" Chopper called puffing up to an enormous fluff ball that deflected the Kraken's attack, which unfortunately sent them crashing towards an underwater mountain.

However Robin acted quickly using her power to spawn tow huge hands and pushing them back, though the sea water sapped her powers so she wasn't able to use them for much else.

"They did great, alright it's my turn" Luffy said turning to the Kraken "Here's my new technique!" he declared clenching his first "Gear Third!" he called before blowing air into his thumb.

He then moved the air around to his opposing arm and covered it with Armament Haki making it shine black.

"What is that?" Usopp asked.

"it wasn't like that before" Chopper pointed out.

"I feel weak because of the sea" Luffy said struggling to move as the kraken moved to attack the rubber man.

"Damn that octopus! Is it trying to stop him? Blue Walk!" Sanji said before hopping out of his bubble and using Geppo, or at least his own version of it, to propel himself quicker in the sea.

Which he learned while constantly running in Kamabakka Kingdom.

"Diable Jambe!" he called spinning around to heat up his leg "Bien Cuit Grill Shot!" his attack landed on a tentacle burning the kraken.

But the kraken wasn't done yet as Sanji headed back to his bubble the octopus attacked with one of his many arms, Sanji turned around to counter attack but then he spotted Zoro.

"Three Sword Style technique; Crossing the Six Paths!" the swordsman called and chopped the tentacle into six pieces "The demon that rules the realm of water, so weak!" he said.

As he thought back to his training on Kuraigana island he didn't notice a second tentacle coming up from behind, Sanji didn't notice either as he had turned back to get into his bubble.

"Amaterasu Style Second Form" Nicole spoke up in her crouched stance like an animal ready to pounce, in her hand a sword with a blade that seemed to be made out of blood in a two o' clock position.

Just as the tentacle was about to reach Zoro, Nicole swung her blade sending a flying slash "Power Slash!" she called as the powerful move cut the tentacle and the mountains beyond it and whatever else got in its way as the slash continued to travel.

She thought back to that fateful day two years ago when they were separated *I hesitated to use my strength to save my friends and those i love, it's why i lost them that day but no more, i'll never again hesitate to cut what needs to be cut* she thought to herself.

"That was amazing" Franky said chocked up.

"I-i couldn't see their movement!" Usopp exclaimed.

"Tsk, stupid moss head having to let a lady save him" Sanji said, now back in his bubble.

"I totally had that you know" Zoro said turning to Nicole.

"Uh huh" Nicole said unconvinced.

"Hey hey! Zoro! Nicole! You can't cut his arms!" Luffy called finally gathering the strength to move as he pulled his arm back "Gum-Gum!" He called as his arm stretched back with the giant fist at its end.

"Elephant Gun!" he called again as the fist came traveling back and hit the Kraken dead on knocking out the giant octopus and an huge shark escaped from one of the tubes on the octopus's head.

"A shark?" Luffy questioned.

"Isn't that shark wearing something?" Sanji asked.

"It totally is! It's wearing a tank top that completely clashes with its look" Nicole said.

"That's a fairly big shark" Zoro commented as the shark swam over.

"What is it doing?" Luffy asked as the shark nodded to them.

"Thanking us for helping him?" Zoro guessed.

"Seems so" Nicole said.

"What a polite shark" Sanji said before the shark swam down the downward flow just as the knocked out kraken got drawn in by the current too.

"What?" Luffy asked.

"We're being drawn into the sea current!" Sanji said.

"Luffy, let's go back to the Sunny" Zoro said.

"Yeah!" Luffy agreed, though try as hard as they might the current was too strong and they got drawn in and separated from the rest, just as the rest got drawn into the current as well.
