Before I start this, I would like you to know that I will upload the photo into two days or so.

Anyway, I loved this book. The main character is very static for the most part. But throughout the novel, she gets better and becomes more dynamic. There are 3 books-trilogy-and so far I am on the second book. The book is by Elizabeth May, who is an amazing writer first off.

Genre: Fantasy

I would recommend this to anyone whom likes High fantasy. This definitely has elements of magic. It takes place in our world but also in another word.

I would recommend using Google translate on some parts, only because there are some Scottish words that don't really have a definition in the book.

So the world takes place in Edinburgh, Scotland in the 1800's. Aileana Kameron, who after finding her mother dead, goes on a hunt to find the Fae that killed her mother. And as she goes on this journey, she starts to understand how her world will end if she doesn't do something about something(That's all I'm saying because I don't want to spoil it) It has some elements of steampunk in the trilogy. And she has a "pet" pixie. And he gets drunk on honey.

Story Time: I was in Fantastic Sam's(Place in California that cuts hair) and I read a funny part with a drunk pixie. I had to close the book because I was laughing in Fantastic Sam's

Laughing: Yes lots of drunk fae that make you laugh

Crying: Somewhat yes

Angry at characters: Yes at her father
