First Impression: cool cover; nice, simple summary

Intriguing start! I really like the cliffhanger at the end. Since you only have one part, there's not much I can say, expect that I hope to find out more about this whole "addiction/drug" thing. I also hope to see explanations of what this world is like, because it seems different!
