First Impression: Love the cover! 

This is beautifully written. I love how you characterize your character so well, and everything connects back to Heather. It has all the great qualities of a short story. You introduce the plot, the climax, then the resolution. All of this happens very quickly in a short story, and you've written it so well that it doesn't seem rushed. I really like how you are great at conveying emotions, and the whole story was short and sweet, especially the ending! Some things to work on are finding the right balance of descriptions. Since this is a short story, you don't want to overload on the descriptions, but you could use a little more detail and imagery when describing setting. Also, there are some spelling errors, but those can be easily fixed when editing. Overall, great work, and I enjoyed the short story!
