REVIEW :
1. Cover, Title, Summary (7/10)
Cover is good, the image is clear and is used in the background with light color effects. However, the font size for the phrase 'A journey with someone new' and author's username can be increased (since they aren't visible and it reduces their effect too).
The title 'Someone new' is ok, but vague and unattractive to the readers. In spite of it, the title hints towards the plot and the MC's start of a new life with someone new, after a horrible past (and that's a plus point for the title; in short I have mixed feelings for it).
Summary is written in a good way with very less words. But it contains grammatical errors which may be improved.
2. Images/photos etc., audio, video, GIFs- Graphics (9/10)
Abundant graphics are present but the good thing is that none seems overdone/extra/irrelevant or out of context. All graphics chosen are bright, clear and appealing. That's rarely seen, a moderate and judicious mixture of many graphic items with the story contents. I congratulate the author for that.
Cover image is good. Aesthetics are present at the starting and ending of each chapter. Cast images are attached in the cast section and I must say quality images are selected for the same.
3. Grammar, Spelling, vocabulary (7/10)
I am amazed at the author's improvement in this section, from that of the previous book.
Spelling mistakes- couldn't spot any.
Grammar (present and in the same arenas Asin your earlier book, but very few in number comparatively): Punctuation - comma, single & double quotation marks mistakes, apostrophe, exclamation marks (these are still more than necessary), mistakes at some places.
The usage of '-' and '...', can be moderated too as the excessive and repetitive use tends to pull the undesired effects.
Usage of verbs & verb tense mistakes are present too (very few).
Word mistakes - couldn't find any.
Word repetitions - present (not much).
Vocabulary is good.
4. Literary elements: plot, setting, characterization, conflicts, POVs, mood, tone (8/10)
The plot environment is good. The topic of sexual+mental abuse is very sensitive but the author has done a good job with it. The scenes, dialogue, events materializing one after the other are reasonable and wisely chosen. None seems unnecessarily superimposed on the storyline.
Settings (meaning living environment, clothing, conversation styles, food habits, etc.) are a lot better than that of the previous book, but they may be clarified at a few places. The time and place of the story are mentioned in the book properly and the author has done a really good work here.
Characters' arcs are very well developed and gradually build up the necessary suspense too while unfolding each character's personality. Characters' thoughts, feelings, behavioral patterns, concerns etc. are described well.
Conflicts are properly woven with the story telling and as the story progresses, conflicts are revealed.
The book is written in first person POV and well written.
Moods (emotions aroused in reader)- suspicious, empathetic, aggressive, piteous etc (the readers feels a wide variety of emotions while reading it, very well done).
Tones (author's attitude)- mysterious, expressive, serious etc.
5. Diction, writing style, pacing (8/10)
Diction means the choice of words for the narrative, as per the genre and subject. Diction is very good, but sentence formation (only at a few places), need corrections.
Writing style is narrative.
Pacing is moderate and in synchronism with the various conflicts and events/scenes. The reader neither feels bored nor a lack of information, which is good. However description at some places seems lacking.
6. Allusion, epigraphs, euphemism, foreshadowing, metaphors/simile, imagery (9/10)
Foreshadowing is used in almost all chapters and it is very properly used throughout.
Epigraphs at each chapter beginnings are relevant to the context and enhance the effect of the chapter contents. They also leave a pulling impact on the readers.
At some points, metaphors, simile are also used in the context of the story.
Imagery is attempted but it still needs improvement.
The author has done very judicious application of the literary devices and I must congratulate her for that.
7. Structuring (9/10)
Starting & ending of chapters is very amusingly and attractively presented by aesthetics. Paragraphs, dialogues are satisfactorily structured but need improvement. Dialogues, at some places mix with text but can be structured easily. Chapters are numbered sequentially & each chapter has a title. But the chapter titles can be more judiciously chosen (the phrases/words chosen for chapter titles are awkward, like "why?", isn't a good choice). The uppercase and lowercase font in chapter titles also need to be taken care of. Chapter titles always start with an uppercase first letter of the first word.
Book structure is good- foreword, cast are added; chapters are sequentially numbered and named.
8. Cliffhangers, twists/turns/incident presentation (9/10)
Cliffhangers are very wisely scattered throughout the book. Even if the chapter doesn't end in a cliffhanger, the chapter contents are such that make the reader curious to explore.
The storyline is very sensitive but simultaneously very appealing too, if written properly and author has expressed it well.
Intensity of emotions is felt by readers and they instantly develop empathetic attitude towards the MC. However, some scenes need elaboration at a few places.
Twists and turns are wow, and they leave the readers begging for more.
9. Originality, creativity (5/10)
Not much originality as it's a very sensitive and prevailing subject in our society worldwide. The scenes and the incidents chosen are also not very original or new. But the author has presented everything very intriguingly and creatively.

Reviewer's comments:
I loved the story and will surely read the book whenever I find time. And recommend it to readers who can handle and wish to read the subject of sexual abuse (since some readers don't want to).
The book contains mature content too, so reader discretion is advised.
Reviewer's note (to readers) :
The book highlights the subject of physical and mental abuse, and the MCs attempts to free herself from the toxic relationship. Though the subject seems cliche, the issue has a global appeal and simultaneously puts a responsibility on the author as to what message she conveys through her story.
I like the book tones, as author's attitude towards such social issues is good (as I noticed, when I reviewed her poetry book).
ADVICE (to author):
I have mentioned some suggestions in above sections.
To take the advice or not, is at author's discretion, however one more suggestion is listed below:
1) The book contains mature content, so it's advisable that you put warnings in summary section and the individual chapters where such content is written (you may write it in bold, either at chapter beginning or before the scenes start and end).
Warnings are necessary, wherever mature content is written as per Wattpad guidelines. It will be good for readers too.
If there is anything you don't understand, let me know, as an inline comment here. I will surely explain, if I find time for it.
If you like the review please take a second and vote.
