What I liked:

The writing is so detailed I feel I can picture everything perfectly, however, at times I personally found it a little distracting. I'd forget what was happening and I'd get confused and need to back track to remember.

I loved the concept of things in the galaxy being sentient in a non-corny way right in the intro. They were kind of like Gods. I found it very original.

You mostly introduce new things (characters, places, ideologies etc) really well. Although it comes across very wordy, it's obviously necessary for a story like this and so I let slide where need be. There's a contrast between different settings which allows the reader to be able to identify what's being spoken about in the future, along with the detail you use.

I was also impressed by the lack of spelling mistakes and grammar issues that the average reader probably wouldn't think twice about. 

What I didn't like:

The first chapter, as well as it was written, wasn't mind-blowingly amazing . It felt very vague (and very confusing). At times I wasn't sure if you were speaking metaphorically and I had to re-read it to get my head around it. Most of what I read was like this to be fair; I feel there were too many descriptions and so little action.

The sudden point of view change from Herschel to Lyeasrakardsul threw me off completely. I feel a clearer distinction could've been made here.

The pacing killed me. It took so long for anything interesting to happen that I found myself bored very early on. Personally, I feel that if there were fewer descriptions the pacing would be a little faster and I would be able to enjoy the story as I so desperately wanted.

Overall, I feel the story is a very good one with a well thought up and complexed plot. If this is your kind of genre then I feel you'd enjoy it once the story really kicks in.  I, however, just couldn't quite get into it. I'm going to rate it a 6/10 due to pacing, heavy descriptions and he confusion I frequently faced while reading.
