What I liked:

I loved the contrasts in that first chapter i.e. talking about putting on the summer dress and then bluntly stating: "it's winter". Everything is so straightforward and hard hitting- it makes it seem so definite that she's going to kill herself- she had definitely persuaded herself that that's what she wanted.

You write really nice descriptions, especially with the use of beautiful metaphors throughout the story. I find them dark, yet impactful.

The short chapters of Audrey at school reflect how fast time passes for her as she nears suicide, but she doesn't want it to go fast.

The cliff hanger where she gets hit was extremely dramatic with the tears obscuring her view. Everything had built up to that moment and then it just stops.

We get to develop with Aubrey, although we don't know her entire back story from the start, I was still able to sympathise for her.

I like Jasmine and AJ who both provide comedic relief, which (spoiler alert) made me emphasise more for the characters when AJ dies. I also like Michael, his guilt is evident, but MC is forgiving and even guilty because she knows it's not exactly his fault she got hit by his car.

So glad that you didn't romanticise the whole suicide thing, with the boy magically making her feel better. Instead he also acknowledged not everything will be perfect one day.

I was also just glad you didn't put MC in the hospital for like two days and then she walks out fine. This was very realistic.

What I didn't like:

I just wanted to know why Cara committed suicide, but I guess not knowing is a part of the story since Audrey doesn't know either.

I wanted some chapters to be longer.

The only other I thing that I didn't like was that YOU MADE ME CRY!!! Now I hardly ever cry when reading stories but you snatched them straight out of my tear ducts (which is a good thing).

Overall:

I couldn't stop reading and I feel terrible that I left it until now to read! Excellently written and you have a way with words.
I'll give it a 9/10!
