What I liked:

The different lives between the MC in the first part compared to second really were opposing.

You highlighted the immense amount of privilege Catherine had, which she didn't acknowledge, compared to Shahida in second part who had next to no autonomy.

What I didn't like:

There wasn't much description as to how Catherine was feeling, her surroundings or who she was as a person. You made the characters say everything but didn't show it. I think you should've written her part in the same manner as you did Shahida's. There's more substance to the writing that way.

You switched tenses a few times, make sure you remain consistent with what tense you're going to use. You also switched from the third person to the first person very suddenly in Shahida's part, again, it's better to stick to one voice and stick to it.

I don't know if this is supposed to be a one chapter story or not because everything happens really fast and not much is explained to be honest.

Overall:

I get that it's about the different lives of the west compared to the Middle East, and the lifting of the ban on women driving in Saudi Arabia, but I wasn't quite sure of the point aside from this? Unless that was all it's supposed to be.

I'll give this a 4/10.
