Red in Love

Cover: I would say it's a 5-6/10. I love all the reds and individual pictures but it kind of resembles a collage rather than a book cover. I think there are thousands of beautiful pictures with all the boys together to make some really good covers with. A more serious cover will make more people want to click on it, so I totally recommend checking out some graphic stores on Wattpad :))

Plot: I really love the whole idea of the book where these young ambitions kids go to a school for music to peruse their dreams (reminds me of the Korean drama dream high-which I adore). There is a lot of light heartedness because of all the jokes but some serious elements because of Jin's tragic past.

There was a particular scene where Hoseok was saying good bye to his girlfriend, you portrayed his girlfriend's emotions really well and I could really feel what she was going through but I didn't get that same feeling from Hoseok. I got the vibe that he just found her amusing and pretty but didn't really love her too seriously. If it is a relationship you want to continue for a long time I think it would be a good idea to try and make that scene more emotional. Talk about the first time they met, the first words he spoke to her. Maybe if he makes some sort of deep promise to her and it's really hard for him to take the steps to leave but she physically pushes him because she knows that's where he needs to be.

If it is a relationship you plan on mentioning often in the book, this scene will automatically establish a connection with the characters and already have the readers emotionally invested!

Another scene that I think needs to be built in more is when they see shine high for the first time because that's one of the most important scenes in the first few chapters.

It's where their lives are going to be changed. I think you should describe the school building in more detail. What type of architecture did the building have? How was the entrance? Was it grand? How was the inside of the building? How hard were all of their hearts pounding? Were snobby kids looking down on them? Were they getting weird stares? I think it's a scene you can really expand on and set the tone for their whole experience there.

The book needs some re-reading as there are a couple of typos and grammatical errors but overall there is a solid plot, lots of description and very lovable characters which make it worth reading!
